    Look at the Israeli/Gaza conflict and tell me that religion isn't dangerous.

    We are all atheists doomed to go to some other cultures Hell. I simple believe in one less god than theists.

    There's kids to teach, friends to visit, sights to see, enough , enough and then die. No need at all for this endless debate . Just get on with getting on and bow out with a smile.

    "God" is used to explain the UN-explainable. Well.... what is currently UN-explained. So.... as we understand more, the reasons to believe keep dwindling down. Maybe someday they'll be no excuse for someone to believe because there's nothing left UN-explainable but because people believe, I don't think we'll ever get that far. Some religious nut job will destroy any hope for that as soon as technology is available to them to do so. They long for death and their god to come back.

    Religion can be DEMONSTRATED to be irrational. Irrationality is ALWAYS inherently dangerous. End of argument.

    I think this is a fair critique, you didn't even address the topic of: "RELIGION(S) BEING INHERENTLY DANGEROUS".

    You didn't address whether religion is inherently dangerous. So, the title of your video was just clickbait?
    If the question was "Is religion inherently dishonest?" you'd have just provided evidence to support the claim. Not impressed

    You're misusing Einstein's reference frames. Now, I get that you're using them as an analogy, but Einstein was talking specifically about the laws of motion and energy - it does not relate to the existence of a god or gods

    Listen. Either you KNOW. Because you have an EXPERIENCE of God. The infinite. The divine or you believe. Through religion. Big difference. When you know there is nothing to discuss or think about. There is a higher power. Beyond mind and intellect. And Jesus Christ was the master of his time. The only person at that time who could teach the people how to connect with the divinity within. He was crucified because of peoples stupidity and fear. There have been several other masters like him on earth. Budha. Krishna and so on. And there is a living master NOW. Find him and practice the knowledge of the self he reveals. Which is the same all other master before him has taught. It's the only way.

      When you know something you should be able to provide evidence for it. Since not one person in history was able to provide evidence for their god, we can conclude (along with human psychological traits being sensitive to creating beings where there aren't any) that there in fact, is no god. At least not one that humanity has found yet, otherwise there would be a single shred of evidence.

    Most societies eg. The ancient celts, Romans & greeks etc. Have a system of belief that is a God or that there is a God or goddess, with whom they have within their society as a form of back bone of their structure. Ancient Celts had a wwhole range of Gods and goddesses, From a Earth Goddess from whom all life comes from etc.. even Eire (the name given in Gaelic /Irish language for ireland Is a sister goddedd to her. Even up to present day we are surrounded by gods from all societies. even to those who claim NOT to believe. Fact is many would believe that which has most or majority of your focus in life is your god? if that be money and finance, then that is your god. Thus my argument is our lives are surropunded by a belief in a god of one kind or another. No matter if they exist or not. Having such a belief in a God is part of the back bone in society and also is a part of what controls people also.
    Have a good day.

    • @shamnet
      @shamnet 5 місяців тому

      @@patricklincoln5942 what I wrote was in requests too society in general. Like Celtic society it was the Back bone almost, in society. And In ways still is. But also I have known those who said same as you do. But I'm a manner that is almost religious. So are they religious? Or are they religious in not believing in any god.or in fact what are they doing? I don't intend to insult, just adding to a debate. Plus as a poet I use such as kindling as it were too create poetry in time.

      @@shamnet Don't worry. You don't come across as insulting. Its all good. Debate is healthy. I think that religion is not a backbone of society, but rather a parasitic idea, that gets perceived as a backbone of society.
