All I run is aje k members and you best believe I jack up right in the middle like I have before on a stock one.

I didn't get any hardware with my member or race brace. I got 4 bolts that don't fit anything and also 2 big washers and 2 bushes that don't go anywhere. No check sheet to work out what's for what.

I have the same 89 car shop manual as you do and nope no torque spec given. I also got the electrical & vacuum trouble-shooting manual. I bought both of them when I ordered the car in October of 1988 when I was 38 years old and still have it. It's a keeper.

Just happened to run into this vid. Been out of hotrods for 25 years and this made me rcall highschool shop class, where i owened a 79 5.0 fox body mustang. I was more of a chevy guy i guess i knew more about them anyway you proably knew i didnt i thought it would be like swapping . chevy 305 with 350---wrong- in the late 80s the aftermarket was not what it became --o yes the oil pan wouldnt fit 351 wind in fox body, my old shop teacher knew his business after days looking thru the massive blue engine parts mountain he found it the only it around for states i think it was a 1970s ford 4x4 oil pan that would fit. SORRY 4 LONG MESSAGE. The other i wanted a comp i think brand cam a 280 duration. The old x drag racer who owened the shop told me for street racing it might be too much for idle,, So he talked me into a new cam that had just came out a 270 duration but you had too run a 302 firing order on the 351 windsor it ran great .however years later while at work my dad who dont know cars sold it. Dad told me the guy keeped telling the person with him that the firing order was wrong. Tried too call guy but he thought he had got away with a deal. bet he never figured that out.

There are actually companies that convert Excursion’s to make them newer or look newer like those Excursion Conversion’s in Miami, Florida or Custom Auto’s By Tim in Guthrie, Oklahoma and if you want to customize the Excursion to your liking, these guys can customize it to your liking

Stupid RCI's, buddy of mine bought a set made for his car they ended up hanging down and were 3/4" from the ground. For as long as he made headers he sure forgot what he was doing. My buddy had a 1 3/4" set of 302 headers that came apart at the tubes, should have bought them and tried to make them work. AOD? LOL I'm doing a 6R80 pray for me.

The Cobra/SVO lens had different color taped stripes. Those lenses appear to be LX lenses.

Hmm 🤔. I run 245/40/18 up front on my 87 GT and there is no contact with ground effects. However, the inside of the wheel is making contact with the frame when making full lock to lock turning.

I have a issue with my car (91 Mustang) that i haven't been able to figure out and i have wondered if maybe this sensor is bad,its a AOD car,if you ever have been on a commercial flight,when you land and they turn the reversers on, thats what it feels like when coming to a stop,its like it doesn't wanta go into first and at the risk of sounding combative,lol, its not the transmission,thing shifts like silk and i have always taken super good care of it, many years ago it was doing that and one day it just went away and now its back,i think it has something to do with the idle so i was thinking maybe it could be this sensor?

This video is absolutely perfect. That's the exact build I'm planning for my 95. 165's, xe264h, 1.6 rollers and the cobra intake. Only differences being I have an AOD with a shift kit. I'm gonna keep it for now. I'm also doing forged rods and pistons.

Oh headers!!! Always issues lol.....I went with Stainless Works this time for my 351 based 434 Street combo. Powerglide with JW bellhousing.....All I can say is "FINGERS CROSSED" great info btw..Im sure it will home someone thru the frusrtation lol....@ least a lil bit

Nice pull and numbers. Small intake runners on head are perfect for street car. 305 hp at the wheels of a light foxbody is enough to keep up with 90% of cars on the road.
