looks cool. just fixed my speedometer cable on my stock gauges. next time it breaks I'll probably look into a modern solution.
That's what's nice about the digital dash, no more speedometer cable.
Why not show speed sensor /gps?
I’m running a one wire alternator so the resistor wouldn’t be needed? It is ran straight to the battery. I wouldn’t think it matters.
correct resistor only needed for 2G (87-93) or 3G alternator. 1G alternator (79-86) will not need the resistor unless it's been upgraded
is there a way to change the backlight to green instead of white?
Yes it has a whole menu for setting the backlight and needle colors. You enter into the "lighting" setting.
Is the 510 ohm resister required when doing a coyote swap, with a Ford control pack, or PBH control pack?
You will not need it when doing a Coyote. Most likely you are using a 2011 and UP alternator and should be a plug in your harness to connect to it.
