Brian Cardinal : The Custodian Who Kept The Floor Clean
This is a look back on Brian Cradinal's career. Brian Cardinal was never a flashy player on the court but boy could he hustle. Cardinal made a living off of diving for loose balls, taking charges, and being a pest defensively. Earning him the custodian nickname for being on the floor all the time for loose balls cleaning them up with his knee pads. While also having a three-point shot helping spread the floor as a stretch four. Never lighting up a stat sheet yet it was the little things that defined cardinal’s career. An unorthodox one at that not even getting recruited to the school his dad worked at. Having to red shirt his freshman year. Before finding time to shine on the court at Purdue showcasing his effort every time, he hit the floor. Becoming a fan favorite for his effort. Then barely making the NBA as a second rounder. To not long after fall out of the league having to play overseas. Before returning and thriving in Golden State as one of the best three-point shooters in the league on top of providing his toughness. Bouncing around some after before ending up on the Dallas Mavericks who he’d aid in winning an NBA championship.

Byron Scott : The Underappreciated Showtime Laker Great
Переглядів 5 тис.10 місяців тому
This is a look back on Byron Scott's career. Byron Scott is an underappreciated Laker great often over shined by his contemporaries in the showtime Lakers era. Scott was electric on the court with lots of speed always seeming to move downhill toward the rim. Where he’d rise up on anyone in the way for a thunderous dunk. Thriving on getting out on the break alongside Magic Johnson. And unlike mo...
Brian Winters : The Best Pure Shooter In NBA History According To Michael Jordan

This is a look back on Brian Winters's career. Brian Winters was the best pure shooter in history and had the most beautiful stroke of all the people of whom I can think of. Those words were not mine but those of Michael Jordan. Who held Winters in high regard as his jump shot was textbook and fell at a high rate. Brian Winters besides his excellent shooting was known for his high basketball IQ...
Thurl Bailey : Big T's Story
Переглядів 4,3 тис.10 місяців тому
Thurl Bailey was an unconventional big man ahead of his time. Standing tall at 6 feet 11 inches and not being forced under the rim as he was slimmer with a jump shot. Playing power forward and small forward. Getting out on the run for dunks and could guard multiple positions as he was agile. Bailey was tough to stop on offense because if you put a smaller player on him to defend him outside. He...

9:51 That look like a harden type euro step😮
Very good video…but let me get this straight…. The Raptors traded him to Chicago for Jalen Rose, then when he was on the Knicks, they traded him back to Toronto for Jalen Rose 😂😂😂
He reminds me of a proto-type of Kevin Durant.
We did a great interview with him on our podcast!
They never should have traded him for Mutumbo, that trade totally destroyed the sixers fast break and defensive quickness!
It wasn't the era of load management but besides that I think the Sixers didn't treat him well they questioned his honesty on his injury. I think it left him bitter from the experience but the sixes fans from that era love him and will never forget Andrew Tony, The Boston Stranger
I dont remember when the spurs were in the east i remember them and lakers in west finals year after it seems
Darrell was a big kid Lucas was a full grown man in their fight plus you could tell , Lucas had fought before
I live near Western Carolina University, and went to the game he got his jersey retired at and when you walked into the game they gave you a basketball card of him at Western Carolina and he autographed it.
:42 mark....That's the new Westinghouse High School not the basketball factory with the killer players.
All these young fools have no idea about Chocolate thunder!! He was the best!
One of my favorite all time players.
I have glass from a backboard Dawkins broke..
14:34 😂 Pietrus

Please cover come back and cover Danny Schayes amongst others! You’re the only dude who’s actually covers guys like this… I know that there are bigger channels doing the same thing but personally all day every day I prefer to learn about guys who I’m not sure how many of my friends would know
Great job Joe 🎉😅❤❤💯🙏💯
A truly underrated, high-powered scorer. If he didn't have a superstar like Dr j, on his team he would have been better recognized.
Now how about Detlef Shrempf? The Larry Bird clone who scored just like Bird?
How about discussing World B.Free/ Kelly Tripuka/ Lafayette "Fat" Lever, etc. To many great awesome players to mention with talent to match.
He was a fun player to watch. Could score from anywhere, and the fact that he was 6-8 and could jump through the roof (he was a VERY underrated dunker), he could drive on anybody. However, he really didnt do much else on the court. He was an AWFUL rebounder, especially for his size and position. On top of that, his subpar rebounding was topped by his nearly non-existent defense. He could score on anybody, but opposing players also cooked him. Still, a fun player.
Thorpe, Terry Cummings and Buck Williams put the POWER in power forward. Solidly well built guys who went about their business quietly and were consistently giving you 15-20pts and 12 rebounds per game.
He was his era's Brandon Roy.
Luol Deng Sold all tickets because he is Like Mike Smooth Splash... now magic is gone or Millenium Dragon I'm mad as hell 2025 punk team 😂
Strop city.
He was a really great player and won two titles in the 1970s as he ran with the legend John havlicek..I watched his whole career and he's certainly a top fifty player of all-time..and he hung around long enough to play with Larry bird...he was a great shooter from the top of the key and a to tough rebounder..and Kareem seemed to have problems with him so did wilt because he ran all the time and shot from outside thus getting those guys away from the basket on defense
Another NBA player who blocked a Skyhook
One of the best 2nd round pucks ever.
Moses Malone was from HS before DD.
Not talked about enough
I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American and male. In 1990-91, being only 18, after Kevin Duckworth struggled mightily in the playoffs, I naively thought that Clifford Robinson should have played center. Not realizing that he was a thin guy, and more of a SMALL forward, despite his height. It was proven in a 1991-92 game, Portland at Cleveland, Duckworth had an easier time guarding Brad Daugherty (wrestling in the low post) than Clifford Robinson did.
Yep Purvis was my Classmate at Jackson State when I lived in Chicago and Los Angeles I never missed a game.
At one point Sonic guards were Gus Williamds, Dennis Johnson, Fred Brown, and Vinnie Johnson. Crazy.
Scott was like the Klay Thompson of the team it seem
Big T is the boss! Good guy! Amazing player!
dude.... show the stepbacks! that's the title of video. dude was a great sniper as a power forward.
I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan.
Joe Dumars next please!
Kevin Garnett's Robin.
Air New Hampshire
When Seattle played in those 2 championship years Fred brown at 31-33 looked like he was abt 44.
my ex's favorite badboy.she was volleyballer and they'd occasionally spruce up offense with subs.
Terrific video, terrific player
Buck's rebounding was phenomenal, but that jump hook of his was unstoppable!
I'm going to say this right now. I thought he was on his way to becoming the greatest small forward in NBA history. That's how good i thiught he was before the injuries.
Didn’t realize how good he was this guy is my basketball coach coming up next season.
How we not gonna talk about how he blocked Kareem shy hook but he’s forgotten?
My favorite all time Pacer. Thanks for the video.
Come back bro😊
I remember him being a physical defender can't find footage of it only offense
