Great review. I just test drove a Tesla and a mach-e (blue cruise being very similar to super cruise). The big downside on the Tesla was that it wasn’t as clear when the fsd was engaged. On the ford it was VERY clear on the dash and you didn’t need to take your eyes off to check.

Thanks for sharing. My most recent drive on 13.2.2 was mostly perfect. A few exceptions were its frequent inability to read the yellow speed limit signs on exits. It goes around those curves too fast IMHO. Also, sometimes it sees speed limits on parallel side roads (that are next to the highway) as being the speed limit on the highway on which I'm driving. And it slows down to meet that side road speed while I'm on a 65 MPH highway. Like you mentioned, it would be nice if it would not only drive me home, but also pull into my driveway, where I normally park butt first (park in reverse).

Just got my first model y earlier this month and finally got the v13 update a couple of days ago. At this point I still don’t trust it enough to just sit and let it completely take over, but from what I have done with it it has done a pretty amazing job.

Curious on the quirky intersections, would a human first time have made better decisions, or is it a matter of familiarity. Obviously needs to do right thing, but curious how a human from out of town would handle same. I know the FSD team doesn't reply maps with annotations but tries to make the car conquer through intelligence.

Yeah speed bumps for me has been one of biggest disappointment for FSD.

I love FSD 13.2.2! The speed profiles are amazing. I start FSD from park and don't need to touch a thing until reaching my destination. Nearly perfect.

Final trip report: Did a 400-mile round trip from Vancouver WA to Edmonds WA for a Christmas Eve family get-together on v 13.2.2. Only 1 disengagement, and that was just before getting home, turning into my neighborhood! It is so amazing with city lane merges and roundabouts, hundreds of miles of I5 including 80mph driving and stop and go driving (in Seattle), then neighborhood driving and errands around Edmonds. The disengagement was because the turn into my neighborhood is from a suicide lane where you can turn in both directions. This instead of a dedicated turn lane, and it, for some reason, won't get into the suicide lane to make the turn. Silly error by FSD, what a nearly perfect fsd trip! Oh, it also rained heavily on the interstate on the way back, and FSD limited it's top speed in response and slowed down, but kept going and then sped back up when the rain stopped. Did this during 3 downpours on the trip back!

Question: Have you experienced 13.2.2 avoiding potholes. Mine seemed to avoid a particularly large one on an exit ramp... but not smaller ones. I haven't heard anyone else experiencing this, so maybe it was doing something else.

I seem to be experiencing more lane drifting, and the vehicle lightly accelarates and decelarates over and over while on the highway. Anyone else experiencnig this? 23 MY

I would have let that 75 on a 55 slide as it just guages the flow of traffic as you can see people on your right are zipping by you.

An event where you came up on an intersection where there were two lanes of traffic you would be required to be in the right hand lane to turn however you were in the street which was not correct and the car handled it fairly well but I have noticed in my own driving when I turned the turn signal onto the correct lane subsequently it then After that took the correct lane. I’m wondering if that’s part of the learning curve.

13.2.2 is insane.. I saw a video of somebody going through rush hour Manhattan... without ANY disengagements... that is REALLY crazy...

The latest FSD software still cannot read and understand simple road signs: DO NOT ENTER, or ROAD CLOSED. Now that is scary.

I got 13.2.2 and it's sooooo good! It's so hard to describe how out of the ordinary my driveway is. I posted my Ring camera of it pulling into my driveway on my UA-cam channel. Blown away is an understatement.
