Just drove 200 miles from Vancouver, Washington, to Edmonds, Washington, including city, interstate, stop and go rush hour traffic, express lanes, and city again driving and had zero interventions on 13.2.2! Right from my garage to my wife's parents' house for Christmas!
@gus1992 no idea. I'm not a tesla employee, and I bought it on Saturday morning. It was on 12.5.4 when purchased. Used it to drive home from the delivery center. Left it on wifi Sat and Sun, and in the early evening on Sunday, it notified me and downloaded the update. Installed it around 8 pm Sunday night and used it for the first time for the road trip today!
@gus1992 from my home. Had it on wifi from my phone Saturday, but didn't download until I had it connected to my home wifi and gigabit fiber internet connection.
Received v13.2.1 last week. Was amazed. It was the first time I was able to use FSD for entire drives without any, and I mean any, interventions/disengagements. It did the same thing as in your video where it was in a turn left only lane while needing to go straight through the light, and it corrected mid-intersection as in your case. I reported it as well. But man, it drives so natural. I have only had my car for a year, and only got FSD last March, but OMG the progress from v11, through 12, to current v13.2.2 (got 2.2. this morning) has been amazing. I cannot believe that I can be parked in my carport, buckle up my seat belt, press the blue FSD button on the screen, tap my brake and I am off to work. Then at the end of the day, buckle up the seat belt, hit the blue FSD button and tap the brake to return home. The vehicle backs out of the work parking spot, navigates out of the parking lot, handles several traffic lights, then jumps on a 55 mph roadway till it reaches my exit, jumps off, handles a couple of stop sign intersections and then nicely handles the last two streets in my residential neighborhood at 25 mph. So natural, it is jaw dropping. And I also use FSD to take me to and from whichever lunch joint we've chosen for the day, typically equal to my daily commute to and from work. Crazy I put on an equal number of miles to go get lunch as I do to commute to and from work. But when FSD is driving, it is just too much fun to pass up:)! Prior to v13 I was always ready to disengage, but more importantly, I expected I would disengage at least twice on each leg of my drive so I could let Tesla know what the vehicle could handle better. Now I am still ready to disengage, but I no longer expect to need to. Rather now I only expect to disengage occasionally. v13 is so good!!!
Any reason you haven't disabled the setting for the brake confirmation? I initially had the setting enabled but then realized from UA-cam videos that people were only pushing the blue button and nothing else. Turned it off and it's way better. On the Autopilot screen, small checkbox.
I feel the same way. Even later versions of v12 I was a little on edge. It’s just a different beast now. The fact that soon it will park itself in a spot once it gets you to work 🤯
Appreciate your videos. I found your channel through the algorithm and then discovered we live in the same hometown. Sometimes your FSD vids pass my neighborhood. Took delivery of a Cybertruck today using your referral link. Thanks for all the info and the referral!
I received my update to 13.2.2 last night. I've commented on other channels how amazing its become. It's doing things that I would do, and it watches other cars and mimics them...its just hard to describe how next level v13.2.2 is. I've discovered that I love being in hurry mode..with assertive. I can't wait for more updates. Thanks for the video.
One thing I don't agree with is, regardless of what speed you're traveling at, unless you're passing keep right. Tesla is hogging the left lane, cars should not have to pass on the right.
It’s been doing a lot better but you’ll see in the highway driving in this video it’s because he set his max speed to 65. At that point you should probably just use standard which is much more likely to move over for approaching traffic. Letting your max speed go way above the speed limit sees to it that the car consistently remains in a state of passing the middle and right lanes.
Like others have said, it’s normally good about only being in the left lane when passing. I even commented on that(ended up just speeding up the part on the highway) so you didn’t hear me say that. But it was odd
Hey man, great video as always! If you're not in a rush, you might want to try using the "STANDARD" profile instead of slowing down in the "HURRY" profile.
Good video. I got 13.2.1 last week, and that was great. I got 13.2.2 last night, and today it drove me from a parking lot with a boom that I had to stop to insert the ticket, pay for the parking, etc, all the way to another location with a parking lot. Perfect.
I got 13.2.2 and it's sooooo good! It's so hard to describe how out of the ordinary my driveway is. I posted my Ring camera of it pulling into my driveway on my UA-cam channel. Blown away is an understatement.
Good Points: • 00:00-00:27: Clear merging of FSD and holiday update branches; improved consistency in updates. • 02:26-03:52: Smooth yellow light handling and highway driving improvements noted as “magical.” • 04:28-05:48: “Hurry” profile accurately reflects aggressive driving when needed. • 07:26-07:56: Auto shift feature adds seamless transition between reverse and drive. • 08:50-09:23: Proactive lane changes and defensive driving highlighted. • 10:02-10:33: Smooth and safe handling of exits, avoiding abrupt braking. • 11:37-12:23: Improved early entry into turning lanes; butter-smooth braking and lane switching. • 13:19-14:33: Intelligent navigation through complex intersections and split lanes. • 17:37-18:14: Successfully navigated tricky one-way and pedestrian areas; steady improvements overall. Bad Points: • 00:52-01:29: No updates for destination options like pulling into garages or parking spots. • 08:50-09:23: Over-speeding in hurry mode; max speed needs manual adjustment frequently. • 12:23-13:19: Navigation unable to support custom routes; inconvenient for testers. • 14:33-15:37: Incorrect lane selection led to cutting across traffic; risky if heavy traffic. • 18:14-End: Parking attempt left the car between two spots instead of correctly in one.
Really? Elon said there would be 1M robotaxis by 2020. He explained how you could make money and to not buy anything else but Tesla. He's been selling FSD for thousands of dollars since then. There are zero driverless Tesla robotaxis still. So yeah, I think complaining is more than justified.
While I’m not the biggest Elon fan out there, I find it hilarious when people take every single word he says as an exact timeline. You understand for the entire history of the world people have been making predictions and claims that don’t wind up being correct. Things happen…worldwide pandemics, chip shortages, layoffs etc. so what that he said that? The timeline was off….who cares? They just showed off a robotaxi this year. So…
@MetzTech no problem with missing timelines when you are solving hard problems. But you have to do the right thing and offer refunds when you fail to deliver, heck at least a partial refund. That's how good businesses operate. I paid $6k for FSD on a 2019 Model 3 after watching autonomy day. I sold it after 2 years when it was rattle trap and I knew FSD wasn't going anywhere any time soon. And yeah cybercab isn't going into production until 2026 and that's Tesla's timeline.
With a lot of these updates v.12.5.6.4 -> 13.2.1 was two steps forward one step back.. but it's an overall improvement each time. I think the only one that wasn't all that great was v12.4.x where I just felt like the improvements weren't worth the added features. That said v12.3 took me on 4000 miles of road trips and I can't wait for those same road trips under v13 this year!
FSD V13.2.2 is a lot better in many ways but it's definitely not near perfect yet. Still a lot of dumb mistakes it makes like picking the wrong lanes and waiting til the last minute to get in to the turning lane for an exit. It just does it all smoothly now tho lol
That’s interesting to hear! One of the biggest improvements for me is how quickly it gets into the correct lane. It makes such a difference, but not everyone’s experience is the same
@@MetzTech Actually it will, if you hit the little weather icon (once you have a destination selected) near where the time is displayed, it will show you your local weather as well as the weather for your destination. It's the same weather icon that is displayed before this holiday update.

I was so psyched to get 13.2.x, but FSD has become useless during the day in my 2024 Model 3 because of offgassing in the front camera assembly. 🤯🤯🤯 I have a service appointment scheduled to fix the issue, but damn this sucks.
An event where you came up on an intersection where there were two lanes of traffic you would be required to be in the right hand lane to turn however you were in the street which was not correct and the car handled it fairly well but I have noticed in my own driving when I turned the turn signal onto the correct lane subsequently it then After that took the correct lane. I’m wondering if that’s part of the learning curve.
You do not have to touch the wheel, you do have to pay attention and look forward when the car is moving otherwise it will beep at you and eventually disengage
Touching the steering wheel is no longer a requirement, but looking ahead is still required. If you don't pay attention, it will start to warn you before disengaging the system, which is then followed by a penalty. The penalty will be not allowing you to use the feature again for the rest of the drive. If you get enough of these penalties, then the feature will become disabled for an extended period of time, I believe either a week or a month, not sure exactly.
Does a bit of left-lane camping in Hurry mode with max speed lowered.
