punch for using with hydraulic press to cut slots in knife guards
Very nice work sir
Fantastic work. Adding a little angle sometimes helps with the uniformity of the letters. You can see it in Leonard and Rachael. Leonard just looks sharpers. But that’s just me commenting as a calligrapher. You make it look easy and I am sure that is tons of practice.
Well, I think I need a few hundred years of practice 2:24 to reach that standard.
Nah... check out my engraving vids 1-7 you can get better fairly soon but if not, theres plenty of alternative marking systems eg: pantograph, computer engraving, acid etching or punches to get resonable results, thanks for the compliment but i am a freak !! Cheers
Хорошая работа , подписка .
ps. this is elegant, thanks for sharing.
this is worth while, nice one.. i hate gas-less toxic mig, theres no control.. at least with a stick, you can develop some technique (and get a decent weld) plenty of heat and well timed little stabs. i tend to hold my breath, and dive away about 20 foot when i definitely need air.
Bloody Brilliant, thanks mate
Thanks
The work is brilliant and above all the pleasure in doing it is evident. As for the spring, although it is designed to set back the whole mechanism when not in use, I personally would be afraid to forget about it, so for safety reasons, I would prefer the spring to work in reverse, with the latch normally retracted.
Very clever mate - great design with the inbuilt snipper! How much squeeze control do you need between grip vs snip? One of the best I've seen so far for this type tool.
Ohh... took a bit of practice !! Haha
Nice! I was surprised that the broach fell through without being pushed - the hole was still undersized below the very top. What was the grit of the diamond wheel that you used for shaping?
Nicely done - the TPG and the video - video quality doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I was most impressed with your freehand engraving at 18:34. It is beautiful!
my saw company only charge five quid to sharpen them properly its just not worth the time
My kinda guy: creates a compound indexing method AND a word to describe it. 'Protractorization', I just HAVE to figure out a way to work it into a conversation w/ some machinist friends, to see their reaction.
Haha... hell yeah, film it !!
3:31 что такое факинг тхэ схарп битс евен?
Blimey that was well worth a watch! Beautiful work mate! I feel a massive engraving video binge coming on this weekend 👍
Beautiful job marking the degrees, my writing has always been horrible.
Thanks mate, Oh im sure your great @ other things, cheers
I can't believe ANYONE has that steady oh and to engrave it all free hand !😮
Thanks... 52 years practice, got plenty of associates to do it via comp/ laser but this was quicker
Looks quite nifty
Which ink is right for your technique? Do they come in different colors? Thank you.
India or indian ink, just google colored indian ink, lots of options, the mona lisa @ end of vid was colored, cheers
@@stevohdee8118 Thank you very much.
Very nice work
Thanks but this was 1st attempt, done 3 cheers
What tool are u using please
Friend,I keep coming back to your videos for the casual expertise, the "lets get on with it with what we have" improvisational spirit. Just really inspiring. Thanks a bunch.
Yeah theres usually a solution to lack of tools & machinery, & theres always borrowing haha, glad my vids helped, thanks
I had no idea what a rotary broach was until I watched this video. Wow! I don’t understand where all of the numbers in the math came from, but I really liked the nice crunchy bits!! I guess you can put a square peg in a round hole 😄 PS I’m not a machinist, but my brain is mechanically parched so I’m forever watching videos like this one. Thank you so much for posting! PSS I also learned something about my big vise jaws that I never knew before … probably because I’ve never chucked any square stock at an angle before 😉
Thanks for your message, im a big random vid addict, always learn something, cheers
The metric blocks have M10 threads
Hallo Stewodee vielen Dank für die schnelle Antwort. Viele Grüße aus Lübeck. Horst
Youre welcome Horst, i have imperial blocks, had to do some research, now we know, greetings from south australia
Bravo
Better than nothing i guess
Mate, I am an engraver in Sydney. My skill set is way way lower than yours but I have always wanted to offer my customers something better. Thank you for showing me how I can do this. Awesome work.
Mate, comments like this make my day, thanks. Please keep me updated to your progress, best regards stevoh
When is it in stores. And where can I see you drive around in your new Ferrari.
Haarr... classic comment !! Thanks
smartarse 🤣👍👍👍
Hehehehe... (evil laugh) !!!
Think you should be talking to SnapOn about your brilliant invention. Nice Stevoh!!
Yeah wouldnt that be nice...
Thanks for the video. It was very well done, especially the combination of grinder and graver.
Thanks
Stevo, pure genius. I suspect you typically don’t sleep very well with all those brilliant ideas rattling around in your head. 👍👍😎👍👍
Haha... nope

Great job Stevoh.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Interesting tool, haven't seen one of those before.
Neither have I... cheers
Welcome back! Where is minnie?
She's there briefly, she misses you too
Decimals go at the bottom of the line, wtf. Looks like multiplication
Great confident cutting.
Amazing. Greetings from Colombia 🇨🇴. Cigarettes are not as expensive here (yet), but, they’re getting there pretty fast. Nicotine seagulls were not a problem when cigs where cheap, but, now when just one cost the same as a beer they’re becoming annoying. Would love to have the ingenuity and machines to do a tool as great as what you have done. Amazing job. Beautiful piece of art and a great way to show how smoking is still a joy and a luxury for many. Best of luck 🤘
Thanks for your nice comment, ive calculated that the average tailor made smoke is $1.60-$1.90 each & after the last tax increase my pouch with filters & papers went from $58 to $66, time to give up... again !! Cheers
Love your work. Great skills and good with a lathe.😁😁
Thanks brian for yr nice comment
👍👍😎👍👍
Thanks for the lesson Stevo. I'm inspired to make one. 👍👍😎👍👍
Yet another great vid! I wish that I had a poofteenth of your abilities. BTW love the A4 software. Can you burn me a copy?
Haha no probs
Good stuff my man
Thanks
can you make paper roller
Probably could but dont need
That's an awesome smoke holder, I never have the Seagull issue though, because I look grumpy (I'm not, its just my face..) and my work gear makes me look like a plain clothes cop..
Haha... got the vision, might try it, just look grumpy !!
Yeah I know there is much easyer solution for those parasites... Just stop smoking, I don it 22 years ago...
Yep, giving up smoking is easy... ive done it hundreds of times !!
Sweet Build by a devoted Geepaw! Loved the paint job and engraving! Definitely a family heirloom. Might be interesting to make one from wood also¿ Thanks Bud!
Actually was gunna use wood, scabbed some native stuff from mate then decided on aluminium... decisions, hmm
😂🤣😂🤣 Busted me up! Brilliant analogy, Terrific A4 engineering and build! Perhaps use one chamber for a BB-cap to scare the seagulls away. 😋 Made my day, Stevoh! Always a treat!
Hey pj, thanks mate
