Amazing how you ripped out 10+ pieces in such a short time. All the tips on different glass, coloring and burrs to use really helps connect the dots. And to see all the different fonts inspires Mo Practice! Thanks Steve for sharing your amazing knowledge and talent...a real treasure of a gift!
Mate, I am an engraver in Sydney. My skill set is way way lower than yours but I have always wanted to offer my customers something better. Thank you for showing me how I can do this. Awesome work.
Thanks matty, nah... just grind it off & turn it into a leaf ! Hehe , i once slipped across an expensive cup for a fishing club, the boss said turn it into a fishing rod & hang a fish from it... they loved it, phew
Yeah joel, seems a waste to die without sharing your tips, not that im dying ..yet, i hope haha, acrilic paint cleans up with metho, enamel with turps, try it, cheers mate
@@stevohdee8118 The handpiece has smoothed out...I tried some aluminum with my new carbide cutters (very small...1.0mm) And to my amazement it came out pretty well. The handpiece no longer gets hot. This is the sizing of these: FG3: Φ1.2mm FG4: Φ1.4mm FG5: Φ1.6mm FG35: Φ1.0mm FG36: Φ1.2mm FG37: Φ1.4mm FG700: Φ1.0mm FG701: Φ1.2mm FG702: Φ1.6mm I got some inverted cone diamond bits (2mm) a couple days ago but haven't tried them yet. I have tons of diamond bits in different shapes ...some you probably haven't seen...I think some of these might be something you would like to try out. I have to make a video ...been busy but will get to it in the next couple of weeks.
Such a treat to watch someone so talented at their trade, thanks for sharing Steve
Cheers
Thanks Rick, appreciated
