on the washing machine motor it was a hard black rubber 'spacer' [instead of the white plastic], but then instead of aluminum you used, a white plastic with square shaft holes was used.
I can not get over the versatility and the quality that you get out of that mouthy little Mini Lathe.It's absolutely amazing.
