Patrick , I love your videos and how honest you are. You are inspiring me to retire at 66 in Feb 2025. Leaving the rat race will be difficult and strange to me . I am blesses like you with a wonderful wife of 30 years and great kids. Your story of the homeless woman in this video is very , very encouraging to me that God shows his love to us in a personal way that only He can do !

Also maybe some of the subscribers can also come up with some cool ideas what us as subscribers would buy from you a book a course or some other cool ideas subscribers can share ideas. Very brave to post . At least the marriage has survived the turmoil..she’s very attractive and could easily move on..he comes across as a good man so I am glad to see that. I was in business and was shafted by my own father . It took a toll .. partly why my marriage failed . At least I walked away with cash as I have economics background. I think you should never go “ all in” for any venture . But I understand sometimes it’s hard not to ..restaurant are fickle and at the mercy of so many factors . My mantra is less is more and in many ways it is . I hope the universe is kind to you both going forward . 🙏

Great video, I 'm a podcast producer ex television producer and the way you guys did this is sort of new, most youtube cooking channels go old school on it you made it very conversational and causal love your girl off camera talking to you is great, its always awkward, when the person is talking to the viewer by themselves. This is more of a hybrid of pod and vlog. and instructional. you personal casual vibe is very calming, the tone and quality of your voice really work and your look as well is a casual and carefree good brand. You are dropping gems with your expert background. I know these are high production effort but do these once in a while they are perfect love that she asks the questions we have in our mind. the budget is key under 20 dollars is what got me here.

You are moving into a diffrent chapter in your life. Don't hold on to the past. Take your knowledge and use it somewhere else, or start something new. start fresh. survive and move on.

I wish more people tell of their perceived failures. you know out of anyone the restaurant business its a crap shoot, and the man you did it, and continue to do it. It could have gone the other way. You are a wealth of knowledge. To be humbled is the place that God says he favors us the most. Great things are coming they are around the corner, but you just can't see them.

Patrick reinvent yourself. I'm 58 and in the now Awful I T field where I got laid off 6 months ago. I'm about done with I T. Looking at the trades which I don't want to do at my age and also moving ahead with content creation. It's a lot but I need to keep going. Prayers for a new beginning. I subbed.

Great to hear about your business life experience in the food and hospitality industry, my father and mother worked together for over 30 years owning and running cafe's and lunch bars here in Australia and raised 4 children through that period, so I have seen first hand how hard it takes to run a food business. Love the videos guy's keep enjoying that sunshine.

The cost is outrageous and if you are not spend crazy, eating at home just makes sense. It's been about two years since I went to get a pizza, medium, no half different allowed, $30. Totally stopped buying take out and going out.

There are old people who have been successful. If I was in the same situation I would bet on my children and help them-- whatever they wanted to do, and then try to take a senior position like giving advice and teach both successes and failures. I would not have the same energy as young therefore I would not take any risk anymore.
