I like to think that your heart is just full of more love, excitement and appreciation than it’s ever had and it doesn’t quite know what to do with it yet! But in all seriousness, you didn’t come this far only to come this far. You did the right thing by getting medically assessed. You and Mary are an inspiration to so many and the story is far from over. Keep fighting sober brother. ❤️🌅
Paddy’me boy , listen to one who has experience. Drank and Drugged for 50 years . I’m a child of the 60. Heart attack,AFIB 8 years ago and, still going strong. My point is , I take blood thinners try to eat better and exercise. Yoga in the morning, ride my bike weather permitting 12 to 16 miles . I live in the Mountains so I hike a lot ! Going to get into cross country skiing this winter . Point is, it’s just the beginning of the new life just turned 79. AA saved my life . Been sober for 15 years. Watch those Hurricanes !! Lived in Florida 3 times 5 hurricanes later I’m in the Mountains.👍🍀🍀
Glad you're doing good I've been doing good for a while that's awesome. I was on heroin for 20 years in the last 2 years I've been on methadone and I weaned off down to zero about 40 days ago. Right now I'm going through just a lot of depression no energy and just complete apathy towards anything in life really. I'm very glad I don't have any cravings and haven't had any cravings honestly in 2 years for drugs at least illegal ones and I don't crave methadone or legal drugs I just I want off everything. It just really hard when synthetic opioids takes so long to get out of your system and dealing with Post acute withdrawal symptoms for God knows how long it's just it's tiring. I eat really good and I've been eating good for over 2 years drink tons of water I walk for at least an hour a day I exercise a little bit I do what I can and I have to push myself to do that. Going to try and get on the testosterone cream for at least six or eight months if I can but I have to get that from a doctor and who knows if they'll even give it to me. I had my testosterone checked and they said it was low but not out of the normal low range. so I know I have to just go through it it's just really hard but I really want to get back to working but right now I can't even barely do that so I'm just in a place where I don't mind being homeless and just got to do whatever I got to do to get through the withdrawals it so I can get better. God bless you 🙏
I love your story !!! Mirrors mine. Thanks for your cheerful insight. Yeah I’ve said it in my previous videos that health is the new heroine after 60. The only problem is I didn’t start that mindset at 30. Now it’s payday for all my previous bad behavior. Keep the fun light hearted spirit and you will see 100 !!!
Your UA-cam channel will still be here for you when you are on the other side. Good for you having your heart checked out and fixed hopefully soon. Prayers for you and Mary... she's a doll.
I had ablacia 15 years ago. The best thing I’ve ever done ! Go for it and don’t worry. The procedure sucks because you have to be fully conscious. It’s not painful but very stressful because you are watching it live and from time to time they stimulate your heart to find the problematic spot. So sometimes they make your heart go crazy but very quickly can bring it back to normal. If this is all what you need then you are actually very lucky because after the procedure you are fixed and don’t need anything anymore. No meds nothing. It also depends where exactly on the heart is the issue. There is a one place that can be more problematic than other areas and in the worst case scenario you might wind up with peacemaker. I had problem in that area but they were able to “weld” it without going to far and I avoided the peacemaker. Go for it and I am telling you it is actually one of the best scenarios for your heart ! Just go to the clinic where they do it a lot. I went to Cleveland clinic in Ohio. They had entire section of the hospital where they were doing only ablacias all day every day so they really knew what they were doing.
I'm glad to hear you're doing well, and I hope you continue to feel better soon. Keep up the great work with your videos-I truly enjoy them. I'd also love to hear more business advice from you in the future.
Hey Patrick my Dad just had Ablasion surgery 2 weeks ago....He has had issues off and on and since his surgery 2 weeks ago he feels great and the Cardiologist said thats expected ...You will be fine ...sending Prayers your and Marys way..
My heart was doing the same as yours. I had the ablation done several years ago. It fixed the problem and was easy to get done. I will be praying for you.
I was just thinking of you as I made an omelet with Baja Gold Salt Co. Glad to hear you are out of the hospital. You are in my prayers, Patrick and Mary.
Hi Patrick, I'm glad you're doing well. I subscribed to you've been following your content for sometime right now. We share a lot of similarities not the money laugh out loud but the alcoholism I'm recovered going on close to five years now battle a lot of things for myself also great content I never miss a video. Take care of yourself. Everything's gonna be OK.
Double bypass in February. So much better than before. 55 year old who's two years sober. Get that shit fixed and write the next chapter. In my case it's the Irish inherited hyper cholesterol issue. I was inspired by your story of a former booze hound to keep sober so I know if we can beat booze, then heart issues are something we can tackle with strength. I sometimes forget about what I went through until I see the scar down my chest and in my arm. You got this. You are strong.
Hi Patrick and Mary. Been wondering how you were doing Patrick these last few days. Thanks for the update. Stay positive my friend and so pleased to see you back. Best wishes. Chris in UK.
Thanks Chris- I have the fear in me from this last episode. I’m following everything I’m told and want another 20 years. I should be fine in a few weeks when they get this under control.
Oh Patrick... Bless you... 🙏... As you say in the USA... I'm rooting for you... And wishing you better soon.... Be kind to yourself.... Sending massive hugs from... The UK... Try not to worry... Its amazing what they can do nowadays... Have hope and faith... 🙏
You and Mary are the sweetest couple! Slow down Pat, catch your breath, don't overdo it. Easy for me to say, right? Just now starting to eat better after an unhealthy binge, especially during Thanksgiving in Naples. Ate wayyyy to much. My body is hurting. Mary, you're right, the no see ums got me bad. Shameless critters!
I had the same issue and did the ablation process. I procedure is relatively easy. I put it off for years but finally bit the bullet. It has made a significant difference. I still take a medication daily to keep the rythem but have not had any major episodes since. I recommend the procedure. Best of luck to you!
I had it and don’t need any meds at all. Make sure you are not taking these medication unnecessarily. There is a chance you actually don’t need anything and you are “poisoning’’ yourself unnecessarily. Some doctors are way too eager to prescribe…
If you are going to do what the doctor says, well I am proud of you ,not easy for men like us 😅but it is true there are people that care about you because we feel you are sincere and yeah stubborn ❤️🩹 greetz from Belgium
Afib is not fun. I’ve had it and had to have cardioversions. My husband is dealing with it now. They think his comes from the cancer treatment he is receiving. It’s a very uncomfortable and unsettling feeling. I’m so glad your docs are on top of it.
Hi thanks for sharing. Hope your husband will be ok. Patricks possibly might be from high blood pressure- he went off his meds for a year. I’m glad he’s now doing both- holistic with a mix of meds-
Magnesium Glysinate helped a lot with my ectopic beats when it was said there was nothing to do apart from ablation if it got worse. Doesn't work for everybody but works great for some and alcohol depletes magnesium. You should at least give it a try, easy to do and buy. Good luck Patrick
I’ve got the same thing Arrithymia Not sure what I’m gonna do Similar story to yours Lost half in a ,nasty divorce at age 50 Worked my way back and happier than ever
i’ve drank moderately for40 or 50 years and at age 65 the doctor listen to my heart and said I had a fib although I had no symptoms but I did have a history of afib in family. they automatically wanted to put me on Eliquis the blood thinner but I declined after studying some of the literature. Your stroke risk is higher with a fib. there is a medical diagnostic acronym you can use to decide if blood thinners are appropriate for your condition. if you only meet one of the criteria out of six in the acronym you can forgo the blood thinners and your risk of stroke from a fib is only reduced and not eliminated my uncle had a fib and took the blood thinners and still had a stroke. there is a form of vitamin E that I keep with me at all times that you should take immediately if you have any pre-warning of a stroke or a mini stroke. I have gone 10 years now since my diagnosis of a fib and I feel normal and live a normal life but my brother had a severe case of it and had the ablation procedure done. although I’m not sure how long the procedure lasts
Great insight !!! Wow you’re speaking my language. I’m already looking for an option out of statins. Thank you for your incredible knowledge and understanding of statins and the harm they can do.
I have to say I’m honestly a devoted drunk. I never dabbled in anything but booze and that was bad enough. If I tried cocaine I’m positive I would have died 40 years ago. I’m a very addictive person so I think I was afraid of everything else because I knew exactly what would happen to me. Your question was excellent and in AA there are no questions off the table !!! Thanks for your support
Yes. The best way to eat and the most natural to our bodies. For a few hundred thousand years there was no other way. The world is waking up to this slowly
God bless brother I’m pulling for you You’re a lucky man to have a beautiful, loving wife like myself Enjoy your holidays Patrick
No need to apologise, brother. You’re being real and honest. Life happens and I thank you for sharing it with us. 🔥
I am so sorry to hear that. Hang in there Patrick, this too shall past. I will keep you in my prayers.
I'm glad you are getting the treatment you need ! Prayers to you and Mary

If you took the “safe and effective” find your way to “the wellness company”(Dr. Peter McCullough).
