    My Dewalt 12" miter saw does not cut completely to the back of the fence. The saw always leaves a tiny piece of wood that does not get contact from the cutting blade. How do I correct this? 👍🏽🤠 06/28/24

      The long side pieces are 12 inches long. One of them is 4 and 3/4 inches wide. The other is 5 and 3/8 inches wide. The ends are a little trickier. I now assemble the two long pieces and use them to make measure the wood for the ends. They are around 5 1/2 inches but note the notches to match the sides. The legs are 8 and 1/2 inches long by 1 and 1/8 inches wide. Hope that helps!

    I think you had some good ideas. There are a couple of things I saw that may explain why some things didn't sell as well as you thought would. I think when people want to buy wood that is what they want to see. covering the wood with paper may not be what people expect. A little hand painting may be preferred. Your ornaments are very cute I think they would be even cuter if they had some color or sparkle. I was told that not everyone has the same tastes so you may need to expand the styles so you enlarge your inventory and attract other kind of customer. I've learned a lot from other crafters and I'm thankful for their suggestions. I am talking to you in a business setting I am not putting you down I hope this just gives you more ideas and choices.

Mine refuses to track straight and wastes belts like no tomorrow and right now I have mine apart to get bit of a belt that got balled up and jammed in the drive roller. Get a better one and go through less money by not ruining so many belts.

      Well, I may not be the one to ask. When I look at used tools, I look for really, really good deals. However, my table saw in this video in good working condition with the stand, accessories, intact safety features etc I would think somewhere in the $200 to $300 range would be fair. But that will depend on the local market and the person so take my guesstimate for what it's worth.

    • @HomestyleWoodCrafts
      @HomestyleWoodCrafts 3 місяці тому

      So to answer your first question, sometimes I am serious and sometimes I like to joke around. So a little bit of both, I would say. The first few minutes you refer to as "bla" are the unboxing which I think is a valuable kind of content. It lets folks who are considering purchasing the router table know they will get if they order it. I am sorry that the video didn't meet your expectations. There is another channel - Northwest Craftsman - who did video the assembly with some voice over. Maybe that will be helpful. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/clwb5igR6Jw/v-deo.htmlsi=qhTs0KvILYaj9dRz. Good luck.

    How I wish I'd found this video a couple of weeks ago! I had the same task, and encountered all the same issues - and then some. But I got there. The old machine I inherited is an INCA 342 from France. The innards were choked with accumulated wood dust in every crevice and corner. Every bearing , guide and adjustment screw was caked, needing removal and scraping clean. I'd never before seen the insides of a bandsaw, so this was a 'voyage of discovery'. The tension adjustment was and remains seized solid from decades of neglect. I had to use the Tracking Control knob to get enough slack to mount the new blade, and then accept the resultant tension when the tracking was right. The upper/lower blade guides used several 'carbon' blocks which were positioned/secured by means of tiny hex setscrews. Their keyways were blocked by caked dust. All that sorted/adjusted, I had a trial 'spin-up' which seemed fine, so I tried cutting some 50mm teak. Problem! Cutting was extremely slow - far slower than that the previous old blade achieved. And there was a 'clacking' sound. I switched off, opened up and inspected the blade. I noted a tiny incipient crack on the inside of the weld area.... so that blade was NBG, and went back to Amazon. I then sought advice - from Tuff Blades in South Wales, who were exceptionally patient with an ignorant noobie, providing much guidance and two new blades. They also quietly pointed out something I'd never heard of - not even after wading through more than a dozen UA-cam videos. My machine is what is known in the trade as 'LEFTHANDED'. No, me neither! The newly-fitted blade is 'sweet as a nut'. 50mm teak is a 'walk in the park'. No undue noises, no squeals of protest. Just simply effective.... Proves once again the merit in asking for advice from a responsive pro. No more 'fools rush in'....

    • @ShadowManceri
      @ShadowManceri 3 місяці тому

      @@07roadking43 Any bigger blade when folded has enough potential energy to cut your nose clean off before you even realize what is happening. It is impossible to control. No matter what kind of gloves you have. DO NOT ATTEMPT! And yes you risk damaging the tooth. Using soft ground is better, but even then losing a tooth is a lot of better than losing body parts.
