I don't believe my WEN model 3920 is available anymore. Here are other WEN models similar to mine. (Note: at time of publication of this video, these models are on sale) WEN Model 3921: amzn.to/4eMCyA5 WEN Model 3922: amzn.to/4gKPJ6v WEN Model 3923: amzn.to/47QoVO4 These links are Amazon Affiliate Links. Scroll sawing has been on my list since my grandpa let me *help* him as a little kid. I'm finally at the point where I have the time and attention span. 😂 I'm currently suffering from analysis paralysis regarding my first purchase. 😂(I'm not new to power tools just this one) So I can appreciate the fine line between "gets the job done for less" and "get what you paid for". I think the learning curve of scroll sawing lends itself benefits from less bells and whistles and creature convenient features kinda like a good sewing machine. I'm heavily leaning towards the Wen, as all the reviews I see are mostly positive and the price point is a sweet spot. I appreciate you showing your set up on dealing with the vibration. That was quite helpful as were your other videos on blade changes. I'm not sure when I will finally make the decision(probably 1 am on a random Saturday) 😂 you know.. after everyone has gone home from the viewing party. 😂😂😂. Thanks for the content. It's very helpful.
This video gave me the final push to pull the trigger on the WEN 3921...a family friend requested a couple nested nativity sets, so that's sufficient reason to get a new tool! Your video on the scroll saw nativity set was my intro to your channel - so you've really helped me out this morning! Now to get some chocolate covered almonds and schedule that watch party...
Well said, sir! Hey, I love the manger. Do you have a template? I just ordered some olive wood and I think that would be a great material for a Christmas project.
Thank you. I don't have a template ready for distribution, but if I get one done, I will try to get back to you and let you know, but here is the video that shows me making it: ua-cam.com/video/nkeAn3pA3Is/v-deo.html. I do want to give credit to Realitydaydream.com for the inspiration for the manger. I believe they have their template available. You can also find their video on the project that inspired me on their UA-cam channel.
I would recommend looking at the new design of scroll saw. The BAUER 22 in. Variable-Speed Scroll Saw, or the Wen LL2156 21-Inch. This is the next level of scroll saw but not ask expensive as the Rikon, Grizzly, Pegas, Excaliber.

I believe the 3921 is the replacement.

Great video! This is a really nice overview for those of us unfamiliar with scroll saws. It was very helpful (and funny). Thanks!
I am so glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your introduction to using a scrolls saw. And thanks for watching the channel. :-)
Love your presentation style, thanks a lot. Do scroll sawyers use jigs say for cutting straight lines?
Thank you! :-) I have never used a jig to cut straight lines or seen one used on a scroll saw. Not to say it hasn't been done, I just haven't seen it.

Thy. So far, the wen worked great for me.
Great to hear!
