The yellow valve cover fell apart in my irrigator (8:17 min). Instead, a rubber piston from a 2 ml three-component medical syringe fit. I cut it on the side and cut off the inner rim in the rubber piston to allow free movement up and down in the assembly. I haven't made a hole in the center for pressure relief yet, but I think that's also possible.

I cant find this part anywhere. Does the. On mine it has some play like yours did and on the bottom side with only the one bearing, the bearing was seized and had a rubber casing encasing it that broke and came off. Is this "bearing" supposed to spin? Im trying to rig it up since i cant find a new part.

Thanks for this video. I just had to replace my circuit board on my 28 year old oven. The oven element would come on and not turn off. I had to trip the circuit breaker to turn it off. I got the same part that you used. My part did not come with any instructions so I appreciated that you showed the connections and explained the connections. I had a heck of a time finding the part (WB27X10311). I ended up buying a used one from E-Bay. I couldn't have done it without this video. Thanks again.

So, I am missing the point!! you did a great job of taking it apart, now what? I wouldn't remember how to put it back together if I did that. I am not sure that stuff like that is even eligable for a repair. I think you just toss it and buy another one and keep it much cleaner next time

this ia a constant issue with this car it will never stop.. even when it gets fixed it will happen again AND AGAIN

mine has an airleak where the intake boot got old and stretched.. leaking air around the boot at throttle body connection.. i havent found a replacement that doesnt leak there also. bizarre chinese junk parts..

Looks like they sell replacement Piston rings on Amazon. The harbor freight vernier caliper would tell the exact size. Pretty cool that something like this could be restored over and over.

I ran into a similar problem with the wire coming out of the bottom. Relocated it to the top and glued in a switch. They have a few flaws like the plastic hose and odd quick connection. They are pretty good especially for the money.

Thanks but could you do a video on fixing the little white spinner thing in the middle,mine just got stripped and the blades can’t connect to it for it to spin 😩I only used this like 5-6 times it’s practically still NEW… or could you let me know where I can get the part? Two questions, if I may ... 1 - Were you sure it was a bad relay and not possibly a component which 'drives' the relay; ie. transistor, etc.? 2 - Did you try to obtain just another relay and replace just that? Finally, I'm glad to see someone else fixing things vs just throwing it out and purchasing another. Very nice video! I should have checked my situation out more closely ... I had a yellow sticker that was easily pealed off the two relays - one for broiler and other for bake. Each relay has a plastic snap on cover that was somewhat easily removable, although a bit difficult to grab hold of. So from all the jarring I believe I disrupted a good 'as found' condition. Anyway, I found both relays (when the stove was plugged back in) were de-energized (both elements off). And when each control was turned for a few seconds before turning back off, the appropriate element came on and then off. I did find a lot of black carbon on the NO contacts (which close when turned on) and believe the contact was 'slightly' welded in place the last time the broiler was turned on. That is until I jarred the relay when removing the cover which caused the broiler relay to go back to its normally de-energized state. I plan on cleaning the contacts of both relays, popping the covers on and hope I get another 25+ years of use from them!

So when the speed sensor light was on did it also trigger your check engine light as well? That’s what mine has been doing. I’ve got harness replacements but I haven’t put them on yet however it’s getting worse.

Did your brakes go to the floor when the message came on ? My Yukon does this when driving and then the brakes won’t work , I turn it off and start it back up and it works fine but I don’t ride cars close because I never know when my brakes are going to give out, I also notice rpms reving more when I start to brake? Pls help
