No cost repair of 2009 Chevy Cobalt power outside rearview mirror

Video shows how to remove the passenger side outside rear-view mirror. The mounting studs were broken off due to a collision. I was able to epoxy the studs back in place and allow the mirror to be reused. The mirror glass had also come out of place. The video shows how I was able to repair that as well.

So, was it the white piece behind the mirror that needed to be reconnected?
