Video shows how to remove the passenger front fender from a 1999 Chevy Astro Van. This was done in order to install a new fender to replace the rusted original.
Am I ever glad I found your video before I started on my '01 Safari today. Haynes Repair Manual suggested removing the windshield wipers and the wheel well liners... seeing your post here let me know what I could easily work around and that there would be ample room to do what I needed. I also had to rebuild a hanger at the lower front - mine isn't as fancy as yours but it works and is solid. I'm now wishing I had done both fenders! I really like these vans and other than it being an ordeal to change a spark plug (who DESIGNS these things!!???) I find them to be the perfect vehicle for me - both as a passenger van and a freight hauler. My best to you, and thanks.
Thanks for sharing the scriptures brother, can never get enough of God's word these days :) I just had a ton of work done on my '98 Safari AWD, including some rust repair (rocker panels, drivers side) ... love these vans, would much rather fix up an older vehicle than buy a new one, plus they don't make mid-sized vans anymore (since '05, as you know) --- God bless you with your project bro, keep her well maintained and she'll serve you well :) (subscribed)
it's rotted Dave the rad core support is absent along the entire bottom which means the two front body mounts that are reinforced with a 1/4 in pate are just floating about
Thanks for the comment. I guess that is the hazard of living in the rust belt. Road salt has been rough on the vehicle for sure. I'm just trying to get a little more life out of it.
Thanks for your comment. "3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do: by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and to deal with sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the just requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." Rom. 8:3-4
Thank you! Thank you for making this video!!!
GOD BLESS YOU MY BROTHER BEAUTIFUL VERCE
Thanks for your feedback. God bless you too!
If The Front Looks Like That The Back Is Toast! Next Video Should Be The Crushing Of A GM Astro? Mother Nature Had Her Way With That Manly Van.
Thank you 🙏 👍👍

I appreciate the feedback. Glad it helped.
Great job! Thanks for posting! You've given me the confidence to replace the driver's side fender and front bumper cover on my 99 Safari! :)
Thanks for the video Dave. It helped me replace the same panel on my 2005 GMC Safari.
Thanks for the feedback. Glad it helped you.

Very helpful video, thank you. Next time though, if you're going to narrate, you've got to project your voice. I can't understand you half the time.
Thanks for your feedback. I will experiment with some improvements to the audio.
Why is the guy wearing rubber gloves?
Keeps the hands a little cleaner.
Love the scripture.
How ever or but...
We're not under the law anymore.
