That’s why the ROVA chair is THE game changer, for me. Seconds to deploy. Fire proof. Use as a shovel ( soft dirt, fire coals, snow, ), and a paddle 🤷🏻‍♂️. NOT ultralight, and expensive, for most. But you mirrored my issues - NOBODY pulls their chair zero , or the like, out on SHORT breaks. It stays in the pack as you sit on a sit pad 🤦🏻‍♂️. Bonus- because it is SO expensive, I will always be the only one in the woods with it!

Euro SCHIRM has been making hands free umbrellas for years! I hike and walk with them in SE Alaska, even in the winter. I think I might be the ONLY person in Alaska who owns an umbrella it seems. I get stares and chuckles. But my clothes are dry when I get in the car, instead of a wet jacket soaking my seat. I also just wear a wool sweater when I hike. Much much more comfortable. 👍

I think CS UL2 is useless for 2 people, unless they both use narrow pads, so you need UL3 for 2 persons if buying Big Agnes. Other brands offer 50"" width true 2-person tents such as Durston X-Mid or Mountain Hardwear Strato both of which are roomy enough for 2 wide pads plus gear, and are over a pound lighter than this CS UL3. Also the copper spur orange is an ugly color. I don't want that.

In denmark we are not aloud more than a 3 persons tent as to regulations. the 1-2-3 rule is a killer. My and my wife cant go camping in the woods with a 4 persons tent. 1-2-3 is: 1 night stay, max 2 tents max 3 persons tent. So a Pomoly 4 dome with 2 persons is illigal. A Nortent 4 aswell. Hans Kirk, do you know if a hot tent is ligal in free tenting areas. Im thinking a Tent stove is not open fire. Wood camping stealh style whit a tentstove in Denmark, is that possible?
