- My first look at Copper Spur HV UL 3 - 2020 edition - i try it out in the field with my daughters.
I am in the transition from heavy weight backpacking/hiking to ultralight backpacking/hiking.
I hike here in Scandinavia were there is a tradition to use very heavy gear, because of the cold and inclement weather.
I am trying to change the tradition, and still be safe and comfortable.

Excellent video, but I suggest not leaving your trekking poles on the ground, near to where you're setting up. I stepped on one before, and bent it. :(

My husband was just looking up this tent the other day and looking at reviews!! We are needed a 3 man tent with our two dogs. Our Nemo 2 man is just a bit too small. Thanks for the review. You got some fun camping buddies too!

why back in the days you have choosen the copper spur and not a Nemo or MsR ultralight tent?
Good question I could have chosen one of the tents mentioned they are also great tents
Ville du vælge UL2 eller UL3 hvis du kun måtte vælge ét? Her tænker jeg til 2 personers brug. Og ville du være tryg med at tage teltet med på fjeldet? Der kan både være meget vind og regn.
Jeg skal selv afsted på fjellet med teltet - har du set min video om teltet i stormvejr!! Jeg har tidligere brugt den gamle 2 personers udgave og det kan lige lade sig gøre at være 2 personer i det... 3 personers udgaven er et palads 😊🏕 og vægt forskellen er kun ca. 300g 💁

How do you feel about the thinness of the materials? Only a 1200mm HH on the floor. It looks very delicate.
Hi Gary I try to sit or put my knee on the sleeping pad or sit pad. I have been using this kind of tent for 2 years without holes 😊 I own the ground floor but never use it - its all about the weight 🏕
