7 Days In Femundsmarka - Norway

- My wife and me are hiking in Femundsmarka for 7 days - from Elgå to Sweden and back. We crosses mountains and rivers, get attacked by mosquitoes. A beautiful and unforgettable trip into this unspoiled landscape.
I am in the transition from heavy weight backpacking/hiking to ultralight backpacking/hiking.
I hike here in Scandinavia were there is a tradition to use very heavy gear, because of the cold and inclement weather.
I am trying to change the tradition, and still be safe and comfortable.

Hi Gunnar - thanks for the kind words - theres a lot of wildlife in Femundsmarka - and also on the Swedish side of the border - maybe it is the largest wilderness area in south Scandinavia 🐰🦊🐻

Great tour in a fantastic landscape. Especially the lonely Grøtådalen is so beautiful. It seems that we had almost met there.
