Dog intuitively going sitting on it, is what sells me this as a propper chair.

Great review, you point out the little details that other reviewers don’t.

Mine is 20years old. I love it. Over all these years, I have never placed it atop an object for added seat height. What a wonderful idea. Thank you.

Hi Hans, enjoyed this video as usual thank you very much..A great simple and clear review showing all the important bits..That wasn't very nice though making the dog leave the chair.. I hope he/she has her own one... All the very best wishes Tom

Yeah Ulla likes the chair - not my best topic ha ha chairs. But as time consuming as tent video, take care and stay safe 💁🏼‍♂️

Hi the Them A Rest chair beats the Zenbivy in weight and my guess is that’s it’s more comfortable to.

Brilliant review. Outstanding idea with inserting the pillow into the chair sleeve fir sleeping. Have you tried that while sitting too?
Ordered mine today! After years of first using the T-rest chair kit in the 90s then switching to the Helinox Chair Zero, I am looking forward to trying the neo-Trekker combo.

Ha ikk - vi bliver jo ikke yngre ha ha og så er vægten også fin. Jeg vil nok ikke tage den med på en laaaang tur - men på små ture er den super 😀

This chair is missing from my gear, I will get it. I also like the Copper Spur tents from Big Agnes, great brand. I have the Copper Spur Platinum, which I think is lighter than yours. Great video presentation.

@@hanskirk-hiking9697 Just a good tip in exchange, cause I see you like nice gear: The Thermarest Honcho-Poncho with synthetic fibers makes a perfect lightweight "carpet" for the 2 person Copper Spur , and fits on the inside of the tent floor very well, protecting the pad and keeping warm and soft ;)

Great video I do daylong hikes with the GF in winter I set up a msr twin sister tent and we rest for a few hours what is the best size for a sleeping pad like yours that will fit? I have expensive exped ones for camping but I will buy a cheaper pad for this.....Thanks from USA

      @hanskirk-hiking9697  8 місяців тому

Hi Dojocho thanks so much… I use a wide sleeping pad in size large (to long for my 175 cm) and even better and lighter a wide and regular pad 😊

Do you ever just leave the chair on the pad for an entire trip or do you disassemble and reassemble as you go? I was curious.

I’m having a hard time deciding between this and the air chair. I want to use it in my tent mainly, but the air chair has more fabric protection at the bottom where the pad folds back. Decisions!
Any chance you tried a thicker pads than the Xtherm? I have moved to Rapide SL and might have a hard time folding it.

Hi Tanvach I actually bought the StS Etherlight XT and the Air Chair - I returned the Air Chair because I found it to be very difficult to assemble.
Now I have 2 TaR Trekker Chairs and they also fit the StS Etherlight XT

    Hi Hans
    Great review as always.
I think that it certainly has potential especially if you can use the two functions, chair and madras.
    What is the price?
