Women begin to care about W40k. To change the lore to include more female units is economically sound. Especially when the canon is more mythological than factual. Also, W40k was always over the top, in parts incredibly horny and the artwork is insane. We can only profit from the idea.

Not gonna lie, before getting into 40K I was like "Leandros is a bit of a jerk". After... "Leandros has a point, what is Titus and why can he resist so much warp energy?". You really understand that Titus could be a massive world ending danger if he was touched by Chaos in some way.

The krieg are my favorite 40k (group, sub faction??) But yeah I hate the memes around them it ruins their genuinely fantastic vibe and world building potential. People who like the shovel meme might find somthing like the troll face contemporary and funny for example, which is not a great look.

As I listen I see we are pretty much exactly on the same page but here is what I typed anyway. Female astartes makes no sense simply from the standpoint that as super special as astartes are they are made on the equivalent of an assembly line all the hormones, organs, implants, ect are made to create male marines. Could the imperium make female versions of these 'after market parts'? maybe. Not likely, they can barely make the base versions. And the extra effort to be equal is not remotely worth it. Custodes on the other hand (to my memory - I got out about 15 years ago) are much more customized. More effort is put into individual Custodes than any astartes. So a female Custodes is absolutely possible. My problem lays exclusivly in the Gaslighting the company indulged in, pretending there was not even a retcon.

I really hope warboss Grimskull just shows up unexplained in SM 2.

I find it disapointing and wierd that no tech priest are seen nor heard in the game. You hear about them and see their logo. But not a single toaster f*cker on sight.

One thing that's funny to me is that despite being such a codex try-hard it's actually revealed that Leandros broke codex protocol to directly skip over the chapter master to report Titus to the Inquisitor...
