I am a dedicated Crimson Hunters enjoyer. Best aspect, no contest. I find it distinctly hilarious that the whole reason the Eldar are so strong in the 40k era is just being better at fighting than everyone else. It takes 22 organ implants and the finest wargear at the Imperiums disposal to create a warrior equivalent to the regular Eldar professional soldiery. Then the Harlequins roll around and literally clown on Custodes, the apex of the Emperors arcane genecraft, still with no modifications whatsoever. An Eldar will ask how to become strong enough to best a Custodian, and the answer is genuinely 'git gud'. Whenever an Eldar dies in battle, it is literally a skill issue. Absolute gamers.
My spirit stone will be shattered if I find out the Warp Spiders and their silly condition of possibly warping and not being able to warpout aren't mentioned in this video.

Aspect warriors have the usual elf problems. You train for hundreds of years and some filthy mon'keigh gets a lucky shot when there are thousand guns pointed at your unit.

@@bongibot1104 hey, some Eldar do have a skill issue, that's why they die. The only difference between a guardian and a harlequin is skill. So whenever you see an Eldar fail to kill anything up to and including a Custodian, it is literally a skill issue.

Happy 30th birthday, Warp Spiders! Once these happen in plastic I'm starting my Eldar army - an entirely arachnid themed collection built around Spiders and Scorpions is on my bucket list!
Did that with my own Craftworld (Meananar, lit. Striking+Spider). All Warpies, Scorpies and Hornets/Nightspinners/Scorpion tanks/Wasp Walkers/Support weps with spinners/Autarchs with the scorp/spidey bits, anything with an insectoid name or part. Works out rather well, esp when you model a Skathach like an Spidey Exarch.

Like seriously, you managed to describe their themes, aesthetics, fighting style and wargear all in a fun, snappy presentation. Shadow Specters are so cool, I love the idea of a stealthy unit that just opens up with massive deadly firepower and flits around the battlefield on a jetpack, sad that their probably going to be squatted with the next eldar release. And I gotta say, while I do like old models, I think that as a range, so far the Eldar have the best updates of any 40k army as they are just the old designs but bigger, more detailed and in plastic.
When I first learned about this I made my own Aeldari path. I won't say the whole thing but it starts with Path of Awakening, then Scholar and ends at the Path of the Outlast and then becoming a Corsair (if my Eldar would survive until then)
Lore bit: Arhra, after being expelled from the Phoenix lords, went on to found the Incubi that now serve in the Dark Eldar, and is "rumored" (read: it just actually is) to become Drazhar
First time I got stung by a bark scorpion, I felt a poke and lifted my bare foot. It was in the den just chilling on the rug, and as soon as I saw it, it ran over and stung my other foot too, then ran away. 😂
My favourite aspect is the Slicing Orbs of Zandros, sure their lore is one sentence long but as a kid I’d imagine them as the Disc Fighter from Yu-Gi-Oh People have done some cool models though
I love the vids and by all means keep doing you, just some personal feedback. I enjoy watching warhammer vids before bed and the bright white backgrounds make it unenjoyable since theres awesome visuals but such a blinding backdrop, just something to consider if you read.
You make unique, while informative videos that features your own hand drawn chibi versions of 40K characters (maybe some models actually look like them, I don’t know), and I find that really interesting, unique and easy to digest for a fan at any knowledge level. Keep up the good work, KrakDuk!

Eh, The incubi aren't really about torture specifically. Their martial philosophy is "Win at any cost." Honour, glory, respect, none of that crap matters if your dead so do whatever it takes to win. It is the aspect of Khaine as a murderer.
Yeah, the Aspect Warriors, the Wraithlord/Wraithguard, and their cool hover tanks are what got me into Eldar. I would argue the Avengers actually are kind of specialized, since they’re really good at mowing down light infantry. As opposed to the Dark Reapers, who are better against more heavily armored foes. Kind of like the ranged equivalent of the Scorpions and Banshees.
You're very right about the swords. Silence is good before the ambush starts but once it does you want as much noise and chaos as possible to create a panic. A revving chainsword is going to do a better job than a lightsaber here.
When starting the hobby in 1998, i collected eldar. Still have my metal dire Avengers, Firedragons, Warp Spiders and Grim reapers with Exarchs in a Box somewhere.

Really want an open world Warhammer 40k where you can play an eldar ranger trying to (initially) get back into their craft world. You make choices that dictate where you end up but the biggest one being what you decide to do with warp gates when you find them. Bad ending is falling in with the dark eldar ad take "falling in" as you will.

Darks are ideal anti-heavy infantry, and probably good at suppressing units to allow banshees and Hawks to storm the positions)l

Really want an open world Warhammer 40k where you can play an eldar ranger trying to (initially) get back into their craft world. You make choices that dictate where you end up but the biggest one being what you decide to do with warp gates when you find them. Bad ending is falling in with the dark eldar ad take "falling in" as you will.
