Hello everyone! Hope you enjoy this week's video, let me know your show pitches if you have any! Also at like 1:30, I am NOT calling myself a celebrity I just really love that money picture. My ego isn't _that_ big. Most likley no one noticed, but that bothered me LOL.
The only correct answer is that the 40k show is Herny Cavill in a dark room, next to a open fireplace with a glass of bourbon and does nothing but read the 40k rulebooks and codexes out loud.
Why in my mind something like "tales from the cryptkeeper" come to my mind? A horror show on Warhammer with cavill as a inquisition interrogator as the story teller
Hear me out for an Ork show: a comedy animated show featuring the orks and their antics. Whenever there are brief scenes from the perspective of other factions, it swaps to the Hammer and Bolter artstyle and gets all serious, but when it's from the Orks' perspective its just generic flash animated adult cartoon and is all silly and goofy, right down to cutaway gags. It justifies having no continuity because at the every episode, the ork warband dies in some ridiculous manner, and then identical orks regrow from their spores. Edit: oh damn, that was almost exactly what you said in the video lmfao
Lmaooo, I suppose great minds think alike😂 I actually really do like the idea of a silly ork cartoon. I don’t think it’ll ever happen, but it would be pretty fun to see. thanks for watching!
That’s a cool idea, my serious idea for the Amazon show would also focus on a smaller group of guardsmen. I think it would make the most sense with a budget in mind, and it would also show how awesome and scary the enemies they face can be. Like imagine a squad that was pretty easily kicking cultist ass for the season then encounters a marine and the power dynamic completely flips. That would be so cool and exciting to watch I feel I like your idea of the guardsmen progressing and getting more adept as the show goes on, that’d also be really cool.
@@KrakDuk ye. Going from unwilling conscripts of an ork invasion, losing friends until the main group is the okly ones left of their platoon but surviving. And being sent to another fromt. Getting new squad members and losing some until only 2-3 of the originals remain. And getting their hotshot lasguns and carapice. Maybe having an encounter with a matine thats basically the sniper scene in Cod wow, where the squad is crawling through rubble tk stay out if dight, sneaking towards a lascannon
At the shop we have this discussion often. The personal favorite is “Peaky Blinders on Necromunda”. First episode has a kid disappear after performing a hit, he appears in the season finale as an Imperial Fist.
That would actually be awesome. I honestly think the space marines being used as a on time thing either in a desperate situation, or chaos marines being used in a bad final obstacle would be the way to go. Kinda the jaws approach where less is more. It would really show how scary, awe inspiring, and powerful marines can be. Thanks for watching!
@@KrakDuk this way the only time we ever see a space marine is as a kid who already seems destined to be a great gangster becomes something so much more. The marine never acts, just his presence throws off the balance of power.
@@KrakDuk maybe the head of the rising gang got his position from that hit, and he’s a crinkly old man by this point. He’s spent his life thinking he sent his little brother to his death and his position came from it, only for negotiations with the Fists to begin with a helmet lifting, and his little brother, scarred by war, looking on him. The Marine doesn’t even recognize him anymore…
It'd be so amazing if they did an anthology series that was just trazyn wandering through his galleries and telling the stories of the warriors and artifacts he acquired. Like it would start with him stopping to check something and introduce you to the chapter, and every single one would end with trazyn stealing someone's stuff or kidnapping them
Warrior Tier YT channel did something like this( trazyn telling stories about segmentum obscurus and another one, where he explain history of galaxy) and it was Amazing!!
It would be cool if the episodes could have eastereggs from other shows, like someone who goes missing in one show ends up as a trophy and the end of a Trazyn episode
Thank you! It’s super wierd, but lately I’ve been seeing a lot of looney tunes and droopy dog stuff so it was fresh in my mind lol. Thanks for watching!
It could take the perspective swap to an absolute extreme going from looney tunes goofballs getting into a fight and then transition to the commander of the guardsmen where then the cartoon goes straight into something like primal. What was 'witty' ork humor and proud declarations of whos going to kill more humies then instantly cuts to the commander looking over the battlefield as solemn silence other than the sounds of gore violence and obscured cries of pain and waaagh take over the atmosphere and he tries his best to heroically charge and inspire his men to hold the line at all costs. Only for when the battle is over it goes back to the remaining orks and they share high fives and hold up fingers representing how many they killed or literally the fingers of them. A perfectly schizophrenic cartoon.
My main idea for a 40k show will never fuckin be made in a million years because it's a show depicting the last days of the Aeldari empire seen from the POV of Vect, Eldrad, and N'kari.
That would be pretty cool, I’d love to see that time period. Unfortunately, I agree that it’s super unlikely to happen though. Both because GW neglects the eldar and I feel they’d want to focus on the present time period. That’s why I think an anthology show would be so cool though. I’d love to see an hour long episode of the various eldar character right before the fall and then the climax is them dealing with the apocalypse. Thanks for watching!
@@KrakDuk oh my point for why it wouldn't happen is because full-on showcasing that time period would require age ratings unknown to man Also, thank YOU for. making
@@KrakDuk IMO we shouldn't know much more about the Eldar empire. It's like DAOT humanity : a golden age long forgotten, a time of legends and myths that was much more than wathever we could imagine. Sometimes mysteries should be left unsolved, because wathever answer the writter make could never match the audience expectation after years of fan theories and hypothesis. What could be awesome is a show about politics and power conflicts in Commoragh. It's like House of Cards and Games of Thrones mixed and dialed up to 1000%. That would be a marvelous combinaison of suspense, horribly chocking scenes, hilarious comedy, and badass action.
What about "Arbites nine-nine" where we enjoy the whacky adventure of the adeptus arbites in a hive city. But seriously, amazing vid as always. I had never thought of the comparison between Gordon Ramsay and Guilliman and i can't believe how true it is.
Lmao that would be cool, maybe something like the awesome judge dredd movie. Thank you! Ya I just randomly thought of it and was like wait🤣🤣. It was one of the reasons I wanted to make this episode. Thanks for watching!
Attention Citizen! You are here by charged with having a funny idea and shall thus be judged by your peers as such. Thank and may the emperor bless you.
Okay I have two ideas Serious one : Make and adaptation of The Infinite and the Divine. Success guaranted. Not so serious : A place was discovered in the galaxy which is a Small city or Huge mansion. In this a group of each faction got teleported inside of it. This place has the power of making so that people can't kill eachothers, therefore creating a sitcom style show with all the factions interracting between them. We then discover it's Tzeentch who is doing this and is forcing those factions to have group activities.
Wow, I’m not going to lie, a WH40k anthology series would be amazing. I have my doubts about how well a show can tell a compelling story in 40k, but an anthology series is probably the best bet.
Ya I totally agree. I think little 1 hour snippets of different aspects of 40k would be really cool. I’m worried the shows just going to show like 3 factions or something. Something like love death and robots would be a pretty cool format to explore the cool, scary, or wackier elements of 40k. I love the varying tones and style of that show if hammer and bolter got a higher budget and more frames that would also be awesome😂. Thanks for watching!
The best character in custodes the office is a sister of silence who just looks at the camera in response to the shenanigans. Also that anthology series is a great idea and fits kinda perfect.
My personal idea for a 40k story (any media) is the story of a Squat/Kyn mercenary band that is hired by a pirate gang, only for most of them to die in the following battle. The last reamining Kyn swears an oath of revenge and joins the pirate crew. They found out that the Pirate Captain was an usurped Rogue Trader, and decides that they will assist the captain in regaining their title, and killing the usurper. The main antagonist would be Usurper's right hand man, who is secretly a plant of the Chaos Navy, trying to secretly obtain the small Rogue Trader fleet. The Usurper is corrupted throughout the story, starting as a loyal subject of the emperor, and by the end is begging to the chaos gods to help kill the pirate captain. As a pirate gang, there are a few more aliens than would be seen in a standard Rogue Trader's crew, allowing for more factions to be seen in the story, although it would mostly be minor ones like Eldar Exodites.
I really like that idea! Rouge traders are some of my favorite dudes in 40k. I’d also love to see a band of sanctioned Xenos, I’ve always liked that concept. Thanks for watching! I like the idea of
That’s a good point, I didn’t want to be too much of a guard simp in this one Lol. I do think a custodes or marine show could be funny from just how unrelatable and akward they are by human standards. I think there was a part of a book where a space marine was like shirtless or something. a lady found him hot, and he was just utterly baffled why she was starring at him or something lol. I’m probably getting details wrong or it might be fake, I heard this when I first started 40k. Thanks for watching!
The blood games idea had me thinking of custodies doing a play by play analysis of attacks with marker drawings and all as it unfolds😂. “Now if you stop the footage here, you can the hydrogen bomb is a distraction as the squad attempts flank the emperors chamber
Everyone says an anthology would be best for showcasing the entire 40k universe, and I agree, but hear me out: CSI: Imperium It's just a typical police show with an inquisitor and their warband, except each member is more grimderp than the other
That would go pretty hard. Them just visiting different planets and dealing with different threats would be cool to see. Bonus points if they have a cool retinue. Thanks for watching!
yeahhh, I can already picture some ideas for the retinue. A servitor who's still fully intelligent and has to save their mates from danger every episode, but has to act dumb so they don't reprogram them. Some outcast Eldar who's really into helping humanity, but the team has to hide their identity all the time. A retired comissar who's like the dad of the team, extremely religious, yet comically blind to actual heresy both within his team and in the imperium at large. The inquisitor could be kind of a newbie and trained on a backwater planet, so they kinda suck at investigating and constantly forgets to use or mishandles their psychic powers.
An interesting thing that could happen with an anthology series is showing the same events from different perspectives, Rashomon-style. Like a Tau episode that portrays them as the unambiguous good guys, only for an episode about the faction fighting the Tau to show their less savory qualities.
A Disney-style 40k film about a new SOB saint being protected in her antics around the galaxy by a (space marine/custodes) guard. Basically Rapunzel but with 40k characters, and slightly different plot kick-off. Think it would be fun to have them go to an Orkperium bar or something. 😂
An anthology show sounds like a great idea, and I know from experience that it works well as a frame for sci-fi shows. Disney's tenure over Star Wars has been questionable, but one of their greatest triumphs with it was their Visions animated series. A string of short stories focusing on different original characters in different settings with each one having wildly varied tones. Sometimes you'd have an action romp, sometimes it'd be comedic. I think that sort of thing would work wonders for 40K too 😊
Oh yeah I loved visions. I’d even be happy with a 40K anthology that had some non canon episodes like visions did. I definitely don’t want 40K to fall into the multiverse stuff a lot of franchises are doing, but occasional non canon side projects can be fun to see. Plus for the most part Visions had gorgeous animation. Thanks for watching!
You could do a Prince and the Pauper/ Tale of Two Cities series of an heir of a planetary governor and a (soon to be) brood brother of a genestealer cult. Show off the different dangers of both lifestyles.
Oooh that would be interesting, it would be cool to see more into the lives of imperial nobles. The son of the governor just wants to make out with the GSC hotties🤣 thanks for watching!
The custodes show could just have one recurring character who's just standing in the same hallway as a guard, and he does nothing but stand there silently the whole show since it's accurate to what most of them do
Crazy, I’ve been playing New Vegas too trying to replicate The Ghoul from the tv series My pitch would be a Bear Grills/Planet Earth documentary, just exploring the Galaxy and talking about animals and peoples It would be funnier if all the info was ripped from Imperial Infantryman’s Uplifting Primer, like how were told that Orks are weaker than humans, Eldars bones can be snapped with a simple bonk of the lasgun and how Tau are descended from bovine, have udders, tails, hollows bones and are scared of thunder
Lmaooo the show got you too then😂 I’ve been trying to get into new Vegas for the longest time, but I’d never stick with it until I watched the show. That’s actually a really cool idea. A documentary style thing would be a cool way to learn about the various species. I’d really enjoy it both ways, funny propaganda or actual lore stuff. Thanks for watching! I love that idea
That would be super cool! Reminds me of the opening of battlefield 1. It was short but really cool and impactful to play. Thanks for watching, love the idea!
I would love a tyranid episode of a 40k antology : the scene starts with ultramarienes and guardsmen defending a stronghold from gaunts and gargoyles after a few seconds the prospective just shifts to an rts view and the hivemind is just doing insane micro with a squad if warriors
I would love to see a 40k show detailing the events of the war in heaven. I just think the aesthetic of clashing gods, he fabric of space-time glitching out worlds being casually obliterated would be awesome, as well as giving an opportunity to explore things like the Krorks, the Silent King and maybe even get a second of screentime for my boy Eldanesh. If the Horus heresy can get such a ridiculous quantity of literature, then even one show for the far more significant war in heaven would be the bare minimum I could hope for. Also, Eldar mythology is the single coolest thing in 40k, and getting some of that played out would be incedible.
or an MTV cribs style show where Trazyn just goes around showing everyone his collection. But for each battle he shows it cuts to a flashback of the actual war, like when he shows commander creed, it shows the fall of Cadia.
My show idea would be: It woud be about an imperial guardswoman is captured by the Tau and held in a compound where she has to survive horrible conditions and harsh introgation. Torn between what she was raised believing and the torture shes put though and when she breaks they show her kindness and try to push her towards learning about the greater good. I could see 7 to 10 episodes. The end result would be her living on a tau world and actually being happy in the end, becoming a fire warrior Gue'vesa. If the show was to be longer maybe show her in service and adjusting to life under the tau proper, fighting the imperium and seeing what they are realy like from the tau side, to see what the side she throught was the right fron the other end of their lasguns (Kinda inspired by brody from homeland but you know actually focused on the imprisonment and that happened)
That would be cool. I think an exploration of the imperial indoctrination as well as a look into the tau society and their own forms of indoctrination would be fascinating. A more personal story like that would also be cool to see, ik a lot of people want a big wide sweeping stories from 40K. Thanks for watching, I really like your idea!
I’ve got a really niche idea: A show that follows a group of leagues of votann hernkin pioneers, who embark on a voyage across the Milky Way. It would be really cool because dwarves are neutral, and we can have an episode of them talking with an imperial officials/rouge traders, working as mercenaries for them. In the other episode they are attacked by chaos warband, and we have an action episode, because it’s hard to do diplomacy with chaos (most of the time). This way we can give lore to the faction having next to no lore(but a REALLY good foundation), and it allows directors to properly show most of the factions/characters(if they have a cameo). Cause if we make a show about a loyalist marine,he will be a HERO , and the chaos ones will be remedially given a “Terminal villain syndrome”, and the other way around. Meanwhile dwarves are neutral, and have no bias towards anyone (except tyranids, but they are the faction, that isn’t sympathizing by design
the 2003 clone wars animated films are some of my favorite pieces of animated media ever produced. The way tartakovsky balances the sound design and animation with the intended tone of each scene is really amazing and so quintessentially "Cool". It would be perfect for the 40k because the animation allows for things that just arent possible in live action but his style wouldnt compromise the grimdark nature of the setting by being too "cartoony"
That anthology would be awesome, but I think it would be best done if it was several episodes cataloguing one single battle. So one episode follows an ork leading up to the battle in a cartoony style, whereas the very next follows a marine or a freeblade in the hours leading to that same battle, potentially running into the same ork from the prior episode, and on and on with several different factions.
A L I E N : HELL ON HADLEYS HOPE Basically a movie were it's is seen in the Xenomorph perspective and tyranids invade their colony wave after wave slowly wiping out the xenomorphs until at the end we see a screen that says "confirm exterminatus?" and a adeptus mechanicus hand presses the confirm button and it pans to a screen of LV 426 getting obliterated by the laser and then the credits roll
Nah, ima need a movie about the siege of Vraks following a similar sort of story as all quiet on the western front. Have it follow a masked Krieger, who we follow his life somehow surviving for the long years of the conflict, as he somehow manages to survive some of the main battles, leading to the final result on the capital, seeing titans, tanks, and space marines die in droves around him, finally, after victory is won, the kriger stands alone, his comrades dead as he makes his way onto a shuttle, his helmet falls off, revealing a man in his late 20s, but lets the viewers know that he would have been only 11-12 when first landing to vraks, as the movie ends, we see him and all the other survivors being shipped of to another warzone to repeat the exact same thing.
My pitch would be a horror styled episode based around being group of guardsman, l stuck aboard a large practically dead ship with a dark mechanicum techpriest. Have techpriest as big and as covered in as many arms and legs as possible. Go absolutely wild with the design
That would be super cool to see. Plus a ton of different factions joined in on the fight so a lot of fans would be happy even though it’s a imperium and chaos centric event. Thanks for watching!
I think a Ciaphas Cain (HERO OF THE IMPERIUM) show would be a great entry point to give 40K more mainstream attention. The massive grimdark lore would be too much for casual audiences so Cain's Blackadder-esque dark humor would be the sugar that helps the medicine go down; Introduce everyone to just how nuts the universe of only war is through the eyes of one guy just trying to not die but keeps getting thrown into crazier and crazier situations On a related note: The T'au would be a great first Xeno race to introduce because they are a more familiar alien faction who would be the villains in a traditional sci-fi show like Star Wars or Doctor Who (more specifically the Covenant from Halo), but in 40K not only are they the closest thing to Star Trek's Federation but they're basically just the noobs of the setting making them the measuring stick for just how much bigger and crazier 40K is
Haha I loved this so much! Even the goofier Ideas would be hilarious to watch. Now hear me out what if they did a spoof of Dexters Labratory but with Belisaurius Cawl. COme on that would be awesome.
I would like to see Henry as the main protagonist as a new fresh face inquisitor, staring off full of vigor, zeal and determination, the quickly becoming disillusioned, as an inquisitor he would be able to call apon many if not all aspects of the imperium. Anthologie episodes would be nice to see that could loosely connect to the main narrative in some way
The Primarch reality show would be great if it was done like that series of adds for shadow of mordor and shadow of war! Just mandein setting and this HUGE DUDE IN FULL ARMOR XD idk drinking coffee at Starbucks or playing football if they are Russ
lol that would be funny. We all know Russ would be downing a cold one tho, Fulgrim and sanguinius seem more at home with Starbucks 🤣 thanks for watching!
Not my original idea but still a good one. It centers around a rouge trader or inquisitor who is just starting out and is oblivious to the true horrors of the galaxy and the show can be about them building up their retinue and discovering the true horrors of the 42 millennium. Maybe there could be an episode where the main character does their first exterminatus (I’m pretty sure rouge traders can do exterminatuses) and the mental anguish that comes from that.
I don’t know if anyone’s said this yet but imagine this: an adventure time style show following someone or a duo from any one of the chaos factions. But it’s not something like a death guard or a berserker, but just some dumb nurgling trying to become a great unclean one
That would be pretty funny lol. Maybe even have some like rozencrantz and guildenstern elements where they kinda bumble around and both help and hurt chaos lmao. Thanks for watching!
Great ideas, I would love to see some slice of life series from the PDF with their day to day dramas whilst a Genestealer cult incursion was creeping up
Thank you! Ya I think focusing on a more down to earth faction like the guard or PDF would be a good approach. It would also highlight how otherworldly the Xenos and trans humans are
I think the Eisenhorn trilogy would be the perfect thing to make a show out of. One season one book 10 episodes each an hour long and with relatively light CGI.
OK hear me out; a animated show that's basically lupin the 3rd but on Necromunda, doing various heists meeting all the gangs getting chased by the Arbites. It'd be great
Emperors castle lol Also the anthology episode needs one that's a type of nature documentary describing the life cycle of the orc and the tyranids "Here we see a carnifex, sniffing his prey"
Okay, hear me out, so this show is a pseudo horror show about the tyranids episode. One is about some random imperial planet we, where we focus on some guardsmen, and it's all pretty chill until uh oh the tyranids have arrived the show basically tyranids show up and different factions trying basically not die and we a guardsmen who keeps escaping but the tyranids keep following him so different episode follow the same formula guardsman arrives and trying to warn people about the tyranids.
That’s a great idea! i think 40K has a lot of potential for horror projects, it’d be cool to see them do something like that either for a show or game. Also Plot twist the guardsman attracts the swarm for whatever reason lmao. Thanks for watching!
I would like something about the Horus Heresy or maybe even just the siege of terra, there are so many great episodes and confrontations between primarchs that could be explored
They should animate a show about Oltyx and his life now as the bone king and maybe give him ptsd flashbacks to the war in heaven and to the twice dead king books. Showing his regrets and maybe an obscured set of scenes in his organic life but blurry and distorted. So that GW doesnt have to show the necrontyr.
That would be cool, I think necrons are super fascinating. I love the sense of longing and regret from most of them. I doubt it would happen, but it’d be really cool if the show prominently focused on a Xenos faction. Thanks for watching!
Only problem with 40K live action and even done like Castlevania is they will have to clip the wings of how dark the chaos and drukhari, wich means they will show a watered down version of nurgle, half ass version of khorne, a decent version of Tzeench, and slaneesh and drukhari will only be mentioned in passing. If and IF they gonna go this route then i think Necromunda would be a decent showing or some of Caines events would be fun with possibly the 2nd and 3rd war for Armageddon and/or maybe the badab war. If they went full tilt with it then i think Gaunts ghosts or smaller stories like war of apostasy, Eisenhorn, etc.
Ya, I do think some shows pulled off daemonic energies and stuff like that pretty well. But those were more lowkey, like a strange aura vs all out assault. My actual ideal show if they had to focus on one faction and stick to a budget would focus on a squad of guardsmen. They deal with a chaos cult or traitor guard, and like episode 8 a space marine shows up and completely wreaks them. It would be such a cool moment to see the might of even a single space marine and how scary that could be. I think something like that could work with the necromunda idea you said. Gaunts ghosts would also be pretty cool. Thanks for watching!
I feel like 1episode of the hypothetical 40k anthology show should definitely cover part of the Heresy. It’s too iconic not to bring up. Maybe how Horus is initially corrupted to chaos?
Me personally I want a show about the chaos marines daily life. Chaos is kinda the big bad of the story now alongside the editions second main bad guy, but we know some chaos marines are actually pretty chill so long as you get the job done. So I’d wanna see what that’s like
I'd like to suggest a scooby doo-esque series about an inquisitor of the ordo malleus. As the group journeys around and investigates supernatural phenomenon and always finds that there is a rational explanation for everything. Or rather, they will quietly deal with the demons and then lie to everybody and blame it on a scapegoat.
What would actually be a good idea for a Warhammer movie would be cardinal xephian from the siege of vraks as the entire events from the whole story played out from his perspective it it would be like downfall and it would just be his slow descent into madness as the krieg siege regiments just slowly advance in and it would just be a massive documentary about every major event that would be pretty funny and i think a Warhammer themed scene where hitler just fucking loses it at his generals would translate so well into cardinal xephain and it would be funny to lol
Ya I’d love to see some stuff about the siege of Vraks, great idea! Thanks for watching. I also feel just a documentary style thing about various 40K topics played super straight would be cool and funny. Imagine someone just matter of fact my describing some of the wackier 40K elements
I think the Ciaphas Cain books would make a good show, he fights literally all the major factions, is likable as all hell, very funny and still pretty grimdark (I really like how in one of the later books he just organizes an execution of prisoners as a live fire range exercise for his students like he does it every tuesday, that whiplash is strong.)
This video is awesome, and great job! Do you think you could also do one for AoS? As an example, I’d like to see an epic Spartacus-style miniseries about a group of former slaves trying to escape from the Chaos warband that previously ruled over them.
Here my idea for a warhammer 40k show First idea it like heavy metal movie and love death and robots show combine into a show where we have metal and rock music during fight scenes and it will be epic and great story telling and dialogue and petty metal.
Yes, that would be absolutely awesome. I think an anthology show is really the way to go. I liked what hammer and bolter was going for, but it was honestly too limited by budget I feel. Love death and robots would be a really good format to explore the various aspects of 40k. I loved how in LDR they had different tones and styles, that allow them to show the grim, action packed, or goofy aspects of 40k pretty well. If it had the style of the Heavy Metal movie, that’s just be bonus points. I love old animation like that. Thanks for watching!
Tangent, but I desperately want Vermintide turned into an animated series. It's halfway there already. The characters are goddamned iconic, the voice actors are still working with FatShark, the plotline already exists and the dialogue is already established. It would be simplicity itself to make. I'd sell me own grandmother for this to get made. Well, I'd sell *your* grandmother...
Lowk loved this. Would watch the shit out of a slightly more serious version of The Primarchs. Start of the show being Horus and Sanguinius the closest of all the brothers, only for by the end, they hate each other more than anyone else
I wanna see a tau show with a scene where tau and kroot teams who are stuck on a planet trying to desperately defend against tyrnaids manage to meet up. The kroot have lost their supplies but the tau still have food so the tau give up their food and eat the fucking tyranids because kroot can't eat them. After doing some thorough cooking and a lot of worrying one of the commanders chomps down on tyranid flesh. It tastes like shit but it's filling enough. This would be an amazing scene to show their comradery. "We have run out of food," "It is not much, but you can have my rations" "But then what will you eat?" "The dead tyranids" And then all the other tau start saying "You can have mine as well,"
Hello everyone! Hope you enjoy this week's video, let me know your show pitches if you have any!
Also at like 1:30, I am NOT calling myself a celebrity I just really love that money picture. My ego isn't _that_ big. Most likley no one noticed, but that bothered me LOL.
Now we’re talking! Quality ideas from start to finish. 👏
@@elmo1234 thank you Mr Elmo! I’m glad you enjoyed the video🙏

The only correct answer is that the 40k show is Herny Cavill in a dark room, next to a open fireplace with a glass of bourbon and does nothing but read the 40k rulebooks and codexes out loud.
But only if he has a different 40K cosplay for each episode
of course, always dressed like the Faction he is reading for.

Why in my mind something like "tales from the cryptkeeper" come to my mind? A horror show on Warhammer with cavill as a inquisition interrogator as the story teller

thanks for watching!
your’s (although yeah, it does sound like KrakDuk’s idea) sounds pretty damn good, and would be good to see!
Tom and jerry artstyle from the ork perspective and invincible artstyle from any other perspective
So Basically "Shootas, Blood and Teef" - The Movie
Which would be awesome.
Make the first warband fight against Cain on perila with the dam and to anyone who doesn’t recognize the location get shocked by the death
Band of brothers but following guardsmen from a backwater regiment slowly getting elite snd becoming their planets version of kasrkin

Valhallan Ice Warrior version of Enemy at the Gates or (Insert any Movie about the Eastern Front)
@@goldjaw ya that would be awesome. It would be pretty cool if his personality was pretty radically different too and the gangers are a bit shocked.
@@goldjaw ya something like that would be a reminder the space marine processs is pretty dark, not just cool power armor training or something
It'd be so amazing if they did an anthology series that was just trazyn wandering through his galleries and telling the stories of the warriors and artifacts he acquired. Like it would start with him stopping to check something and introduce you to the chapter, and every single one would end with trazyn stealing someone's stuff or kidnapping them
That would actually be really cool. I like when anthologies have a little bit of a framing like that. Thanks for watching! Love your idea
A David Attenborough style documentary set on Catachin, Where he's just constantly horrified At what he is seeing
lol that would be cool and funny. Then the last entry is the most horrifying creature of all, the catachan jungle fighter🤣🤣 thanks for watching!
‘British accent’
And here we see- oh god oh fuck what are they doing… -if you look off to the right there, you can see a wild *vomits*
I miss attenburough warhammer.
That idea for an ork loony toons show with the perspective swap is brilliant
A crocodile dundie type show about a catachan soldier showing off tyranid bioforms and then teaching you how to kill them
That would be awesome. It could even expand to other Xenos species.
Thanks for watching, I love your idea!
so basically neil Patrick Harris in starship troopers?
Bro the 2003 Clone Wars show was GOATED. Excellent reference :)
I love that show, it’s just so cool to watch. Love how they let everything go insane for it.
Thanks for watching!
The best clone war
@@KrakDuk oh my point for why it wouldn't happen is because full-on showcasing that time period would require age ratings unknown to man
Also, thank YOU for.
Actually genius.

The wet slap sound effect, the suddenness of the punch, the pause beforehand. Especially the wet slap sound effect!
Bravo, brilliantly done.
Okay I have two ideas
Serious one : Make and adaptation of The Infinite and the Divine.
I love the varying tones and style of that show
if hammer and bolter got a higher budget and more frames that would also be awesome😂.
Thanks for watching!
This actually aged well!
A 40k show in the style of 2003 Clone Wars is one of the greatest ideas I've ever heard
The best character in custodes the office is a sister of silence who just looks at the camera in response to the shenanigans.
Also that anthology series is a great idea and fits kinda perfect.
Lmao that would be very funny. Thank you!
I like the idea of
The guard would work far better as an office parody, because you can relate to them
That’s a good point, I didn’t want to be too much of a guard simp in this one Lol.
@@KrakDukI think that was from Horus rising, iirc
Warhammer anthology series?
So something like (Warhammer hammer and bolter) but in Genndy Tartakovsky art style?
HELL YEAH, I'M IN!!!
Even if GW just funded 3 extra frames for Hammer and bolter that would be a great show😫
Thanks for watching!
@@KrakDuk Thanks for making this video)
Heck yeah! Personally I’d like to see a show set on Necromunda, it’s a great cross-section of how weird the setting gets.
Necromunda would be cool to explore! Personally I don’t know much about it, but what I do know it’s pretty interesting.
Thanks for watching!
The blood games idea had me thinking of custodies doing a play by play analysis of attacks with marker drawings and all as it unfolds😂. “Now if you stop the footage here, you can the hydrogen bomb is a distraction as the squad attempts flank the emperors chamber
Everyone says an anthology would be best for showcasing the entire 40k universe, and I agree, but hear me out:
CSI: Imperium
It's just a typical police show with an inquisitor and their warband, except each member is more grimderp than the other
That would go pretty hard.
It could also be the Anti-X-Files. The Truth ? We don't want the Truth .. burn it down.
That's essentially Doctor Who isn't it?
An interesting thing that could happen with an anthology series is showing the same events from different perspectives, Rashomon-style. Like a Tau episode that portrays them as the unambiguous good guys, only for an episode about the faction fighting the Tau to show their less savory qualities.
Now I imagine Rowboat Gillman sounding like a beefed up Gordon Ramsey, thanks.
A Disney-style 40k film about a new SOB saint being protected in her antics around the galaxy by a (space marine/custodes) guard.
Basically Rapunzel but with 40k characters, and slightly different plot kick-off. Think it would be fun to have them go to an Orkperium bar or something. 😂
I love these ideas. And the Guilliman one and the Anthology one seem the most effective at really showing what 40k is.
@@KrakDuk No prob 😊
The plot for that guilliman show is literally the plot from the emperors text to speech!!!
The custodes show could just have one recurring character who's just standing in the same hallway as a guard, and he does nothing but stand there silently the whole show since it's accurate to what most of them do
That for real sounds like an office gag lol, perfect. Thanks for watching!
This has to include a King's Guard Scene, were some Idiots are trying to get a reaction out of them.
G man trying to do the idiot sandwich bit and accidentally crushing some poor adept's head, turning them into idiot jam
Crazy, I’ve been playing New Vegas too trying to replicate The Ghoul from the tv series
My pitch would be a Bear Grills/Planet Earth documentary, just exploring the Galaxy and talking about animals and peoples
It would be funnier if all the info was ripped from Imperial Infantryman’s Uplifting Primer, like how were told that Orks are weaker than humans, Eldars bones can be snapped with a simple bonk of the lasgun and how Tau are descended from bovine, have udders, tails, hollows bones and are scared of thunder
Hear me out: An Anthology of guardsmen stories and every episode ends when they die, so some are a few hours some are minutes
That would be super cool! Reminds me of the opening of battlefield 1. It was short but really cool and impactful to play.
Thanks for watching, love the idea!
I would love a tyranid episode of a 40k antology
: the scene starts with ultramarienes and guardsmen defending a stronghold from gaunts and gargoyles after a few seconds the prospective just shifts to an rts view and the hivemind is just doing insane micro with a squad if warriors
Okay. The reality TV family drama idea got me from the beginning and I am down for the rest.
So your idea is basically an ork show that is meet the Pyro from TF2
thought the same 😂
or an MTV cribs style show where Trazyn just goes around showing everyone his collection. But for each battle he shows it cuts to a flashback of the actual war, like when he shows commander creed, it shows the fall of Cadia.
A guardsman show like the clone wars/ band of brothers/ the trench would be really cool.
Ya I’d love to see something like that! Thanks for watching
@@KrakDuk Glad you know you like that idea. Thanks for making the video.
My show idea would be:
It woud be about an imperial guardswoman is captured by the Tau and held in a compound where she has to survive horrible conditions and harsh introgation. Torn between what she was raised believing and the torture shes put though and when she breaks they show her kindness and try to push her towards learning about the greater good. I could see 7 to 10 episodes. The end result would be her living on a tau world and actually being happy in the end, becoming a fire warrior Gue'vesa.
If the show was to be longer maybe show her in service and adjusting to life under the tau proper, fighting the imperium and seeing what they are realy like from the tau side, to see what the side she throught was the right fron the other end of their lasguns
(Kinda inspired by brody from homeland but you know actually focused on the imprisonment and that happened)
I’ve got a really niche idea:
A show that follows a group of leagues of votann hernkin pioneers, who embark on a voyage across the Milky Way.
Three words: Commander Farsight anime.
the 2003 clone wars animated films are some of my favorite pieces of animated media ever produced.
A L I E N : HELL ON HADLEYS HOPE
Basically a movie were it's is seen in the Xenomorph perspective and tyranids invade their colony wave after wave slowly wiping out the xenomorphs until at the end we see a screen that says "confirm exterminatus?" and a adeptus mechanicus hand presses the confirm button and it pans to a screen of LV 426 getting obliterated by the laser and then the credits roll
The custodes bloodgames one would be funny as hell
Imagine if it had a wipe out type tone too and there were announcers talking about how the plans were going lmao. Thanks for watching!
@@KrakDuk the names of the custodes would take up most of the screen tho
My pitch would be a horror styled episode based around being group of guardsman, l stuck aboard a large practically dead ship with a dark mechanicum techpriest. Have techpriest as big and as covered in as many arms and legs as possible. Go absolutely wild with the design
Imagine the fall of cadia from a view of a guard section, like a few episodes dedicated to it.
That would be super cool to see. Plus a ton of different factions joined in on the fight so a lot of fans would be happy even though it’s a imperium and chaos centric event. Thanks for watching!
Battlefleet gothic armada 2 opening cutscene show that
I think a Ciaphas Cain (HERO OF THE IMPERIUM) show would be a great entry point to give 40K more mainstream attention. The massive grimdark lore would be too much for casual audiences so Cain's Blackadder-esque dark humor would be the sugar that helps the medicine go down; Introduce everyone to just how nuts the universe of only war is through the eyes of one guy just trying to not die but keeps getting thrown into crazier and crazier situations
On a related note: The T'au would be a great first Xeno race to introduce because they are a more familiar alien faction who would be the villains in a traditional sci-fi show like Star Wars or Doctor Who (more specifically the Covenant from Halo), but in 40K not only are they the closest thing to Star Trek's Federation but they're basically just the noobs of the setting making them the measuring stick for just how much bigger and crazier 40K is
I had an anthology show idea for Space Marines. An hour and a half long episode about each Space Marine legion as an introduction to new people
Haha I loved this so much! Even the goofier Ideas would be hilarious to watch. Now hear me out what if they did a spoof of Dexters Labratory but with Belisaurius Cawl. COme on that would be awesome.
Thank you! That’s a great idea lmao, Cawl even has a tall blonde person questioning his inventions🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for watching!
That anthology idea is already what “Hammer and Bolter” is
I would like to see Henry as the main protagonist as a new fresh face inquisitor, staring off full of vigor, zeal and determination, the quickly becoming disillusioned, as an inquisitor he would be able to call apon many if not all aspects of the imperium. Anthologie episodes would be nice to see that could loosely connect to the main narrative in some way
You did not point out Lorgar x Corvus beef at 1:01. Besides that as always amazing video keep up the great work champ
I would watch the shit out of imperium nightmares
Me too. I love Gordon Ramsay. He’d be even cooler if he was 10 feet tall and had a fire sword.
Thanks for watching!
Great ideas,
I would love to see some slice of life series from the PDF with their day to day dramas whilst a Genestealer cult incursion was creeping up
Thank you!
Ya I think focusing on a more down to earth faction like the guard or PDF would be a good approach. It would also highlight how otherworldly the Xenos and trans humans are
2:18 you caught me off guard with that art man almost dropped my phone from laughing
I think the Eisenhorn trilogy would be the perfect thing to make a show out of. One season one book 10 episodes each an hour long and with relatively light CGI.
Guilliman show idea but it’s themed like “Parks and Rec” with Roboute as Leslie Nope
Lmao that would be funny. Thanks for watching!
OK hear me out; a animated show that's basically lupin the 3rd but on Necromunda, doing various heists meeting all the gangs getting chased by the Arbites. It'd be great
Emperors castle lol
Also the anthology episode needs one that's a type of nature documentary describing the life cycle of the orc and the tyranids
"Here we see a carnifex, sniffing his prey"
@@KrakDuk Thank you so much for reading my comment ❤️

5:36 missed opportunity to call it a "Telemon-vision series"
Wait that’s so true damn
The Primarch reality show should be narrated by Trazyn. There also needs to be a lot of talk about Mortarion's hygiene (or lack thereof).
I would like something about the Horus Heresy or maybe even just the siege of terra, there are so many great episodes and confrontations between primarchs that could be explored
Get Gennedy Tartokovski to do a full Hours Heresy marathon at the animation of equivalent of 1.5x speed. I'd give a kidney for that.
That would be so cool to see. He does extremely stylized violence super well, I’d love to see what he could do with 40K.
Thanks for watching!
Earned a sub from me real quick loving the vids man! Peave and prosperity from the land down under
Thanks a ton! I really appreciate it
Ork top gear ⚙️
They should animate a show about Oltyx and his life now as the bone king and maybe give him ptsd flashbacks to the war in heaven and to the twice dead king books. Showing his regrets and maybe an obscured set of scenes in his organic life but blurry and distorted. So that GW doesnt have to show the necrontyr.
That would be cool, I think necrons are super fascinating. I love the sense of longing and regret from most of them.
I doubt it would happen, but it’d be really cool if the show prominently focused on a Xenos faction.
Thanks for watching!
the last idea is fucking phenomenal
Thank you very much! I hope the Amazon series is a bit similar, or at least has a good number of factions appearing
So I’d wanna see what that’s like
That first suggestion alone .. I now want Steve Carrell to play the Emperor.
1:18 *Lion'el Johnson*
_Has yet to clean his house_
I'd like to suggest a scooby doo-esque series about an inquisitor of the ordo malleus. As the group journeys around and investigates supernatural phenomenon and always finds that there is a rational explanation for everything. Or rather, they will quietly deal with the demons and then lie to everybody and blame it on a scapegoat.
I would love to see a guardsmen and tau anthology episode where its like the ww2 Christmas truce video
2:07 “This is concerning to me”
All of them are bangers
Thank you!🙏
Honestly, i would love an adapatation of Dan Abnett's Titanicus.
Imagine someone just matter of fact my describing some of the wackier 40K elements
itd be rlly cool to see a series that follows the adventures and struggles of the average Astartes or Guardsman. like a sci-fi war movie with demons.
These are good ideas dude. Nice work
Here my idea for a warhammer 40k show First idea it like heavy metal movie and love death and robots show combine into a show where we have metal and rock music during fight scenes and it will be epic and great story telling and dialogue and petty metal.
I think a Who-Dunnit style mystery focusing on an inquisitor trying to root out a cult (either gsc or chaos) would be fun as fuck.
That last one is literally Hammer & Bolter
9:07 IMPERIAL KNIGHTS MENTIONED WOOOOOOO
"We have run out of food,"
"It is not much, but you can have my rations"
"But then what will you eat?"
"The dead tyranids"
And then all the other tau start saying
"You can have mine as well,"
The Lion complaing about not being the favorite is hilarious considering how much DAOT he has.
