G'day from Oz. First up, love your videos. Really informative. Appreciate all the effort you go to. I was wondering if you could give some advice. I recently purchased a new rtx4080 and a BigScreen Beyond. Trying to use it with msfs2024 and the experience has been very underwhelming. I have found the visuals quite realistic on a monitor but through the BSB headset, the visuals look crap. Reminds me of the visuals of 20 years ago. I have had to dial back the vr visuals in order to prevent crashes, but even when I do up the settings, the flight deck of a 787 looks almost photo-realistic but the outside world looks terrible. Did you find this to be the case with the Pimax or did you have a much more powerful PC than your 4080? Has anyone else been experiencing the same with VR or is there any advice for a sim newbie? Any advice would be very much appreciated. On another note, what sort of footprint does your 3 monitor setup require? thinking about returning the BSB and going to a monitor setup. Yours is very inspiring.

The MKII pitch looks the most realistic, certainly for Cessnas and Pipers. Not sure about the other features. $800 more for extra power? And I have zero use for a continuous hat switch. What I need is an eight way. To me, that alone is a real deal breaker.

I’m sure this comment will be too late but for anyone else. You asked about rudder pedals and any recommendations. As a real world trained pilot I highly recommend the TPR Thrustmaster Boeing series pendular rudder pedals. They are as close to the real thing as you will get in home flight simulation. I highly recommend recommend them to anyone seriously interested in in home flight simulation. They are a bit pricey at around £453.00p UK but well worth buying for a realistic experience.

I like the flaps and LG effects. Since my flaps are on an axis lever on my Mongoose throttle, it was hard to tell how many notches you had moved with the flaps but now with the FFB on this, I feel exactly how many notches. Same with landing - sometimes you may not be 100% sure the LG has activated up or down (unless you check the lever in the cockpit of course) but the feedback tells you right away.

This might be a foolish question but I know these Rudders have been around for years now. Is it safe to assume that they have been updated throughout the years? hardware and software wise? Is it also safe to assume that you will be getting the latest version of the pedals (not pertaining to software). I ask because spending $599 on a product that was first available on Amazon since 2018 seems a bit much. Now if they have been updated and the latest model is being sold only then I can agree with the price.

Having reviewed the Brunner MK 2 as well and putting the long pitch travel there as one of the most important things - looking back now, would you put that as a more important point here (than you have) or would the review stay the same? I’m planning to buy a ffb yoke in the future months, since I’ve started (and stopped) my student training about a year ago and want to get back into it and prepare through sims. One of the problems with Simionic is also the shipping cost - I live in the EU and it would cost me an additional 230 USD (right now USD and EUR are almost 1/1) for them to send the product to me, which is like 20% of the price of the yoke!

I’m not one of those people that say a lot of stuff is over priced when it’s price makes sense, usually I defend it, again, when it makes sense, and I really would like to have the Virtual Fly Switcho panels to replace the old cheap Saitek/Logitech panels, but Virtual Fly stuff really is more expensive than it should be.

Could you tell me the edge to edge distance straight across for all monitors with the angle you’re using? I would love to get that setup but don’t know if I have enough room for 3x 55s. Thanks.

You guys in the UK get screwed over hard on tech stuff, 370 USD is not cheap really. If they make those screens they should not be laggy and bottoms shouldn't come off lol Turtle beach brand started out rough. Their early products never lasted more than a few months and I am seriously surprised they are still around. That being said looks like they are stepping up their game, I hope they improve on some of this at this tier. I am in the market. But I can't abide laggy screens, they feel gimmicky.

Winwing directly available and around 50 bucks cheaper rn, Virpil is on back order... should i wait or just go with the Winwing? MFG would be another option, but only without the damper as this would be around another 50 more (100 over the winwing, which is just not possible with my budget)... EDIT: My Price comparisons / references are after taxes & shipping, otherwise things would look different obviously

I'm not sure why anyone buys this. I used my buddies for a couple of hours and my old Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS one(yes the $60 one) feels better built, is more accurate, and doesn't require awful software. I wouldn't buy this for $75, let alone the $300 they want for this garbage. It's really sad to see a flagship product that's inferior to actual trash.
