There is a hole on the front side of the adapter where the latch locks in. Press the latch in with your finger or a something as screwdriver and remove the adapter. You need to disengage the latch so it's not hooking on the adapter.

In case you lose the original bracket, or if you bought monitor second hand without the bracket. Of course, if you have metal bracket there’s no reason why you should use ours.

That monitor should already support VESA 100 mounting interface. If you're having trouble fitting your VESA plate into the recessed hole in the monitors backside, we do sell VESA 100 spacers that would resolve the problem. @@creat3dlab12 the samsung website says that the odyssey model is compatible with wall mount 100x100. Is it not? I just ordered 2 odyssey monitors. Will i require your adapater? Edit, the smaller screens are compatible.

This is an adapter that allows you to mount your monitor to any VESA 75 or VESA 100 compatible monitor arm, wall mount or stand. You would need to purchase a separate VESA 75/100 wall mount kit.

I suggest you try to mount it first without the adapter and see whether you'll succeed.
