I just got this monitor but im confused. I just ordered the vesa adapter you linked but will I need that specific monitor mount arm? And what about that silver plate?

You would need a monitor arm which supports VESA 75 or VESA 100 (or both) mounting standards. The silver plate is specific to monitor arm we are using.

Of course, I totally agree! But in case you already have a VESA monitor arm that supports both VESA 75 and VESA 100 standards, you can either purchase the adapter or you can purchase new monitor arm that only supports VESA 75 mounting standard, it's totally up to you :)

I'll get two big balls...🤬. I buy 2 of these Wix monitors for 400 chickens and MSI is too stupid to include the M4x screws for the VESA mount???
Even Xiaomi can do it better...

I used the included 4 screws meant for the wall mount to use as spacers and used the vesa mount on top of it to attach the desk arm. Worked pretty good - if the scews are good enough for a wall mout, they are defenitely good for the arm.
