Of course it makes sense. VESA mount underneath the plastic is oriented by 45°. If your VESA arm does not support pivoting, your option is to either get the adapter or to get new VESA arm. The latter being more expensive.

This is an adapter that allows you to mount your monitor to any VESA 75 or VESA 100 compatible monitor arm, wall mount or stand. You would need to purchase a separate VESA 75/100 wall mount kit.

Thanks for the video, might get this now. My HP Omen 27i kept tilting forward after mounting on a Vesa mount. According to HP, they have specs on what type of Vesa mount you can use and even have a video of them mounting but they are not willing to tell you what mount they used in the comment section of their video. Their response is to look at their website for it but when I did, they didn't have it which is disappointing.
Only got this monitor because it was on sale during Black Friday 2020 at Best Buy since I just built my PC and it was their only 1440p monitor they had available which co-worker recommended on getting a 2K monitor instead of a 1080p monitor.

Is it tilting forward because your monitor arm can't support weight of the monitor by any chance?

@@creat3dlab12 Maybe? I did research on my monitor arm before I purchase it and check the weight of my monitor and it match that it should have supported it.
My previous monitor arm supported it before it started tilting forward like my current one and used a small box to keep it from tilting forward. I used the stand that came with my monitor temporarily before I got another one but got the same issue after installation. The stand took too much space on my small desk which is why I needed a monitor mount but I can't find one that is compatible with the monitor. I'm also thinking of getting a different monitor eventually.
