Why Society Has Failed GenZ
In this video, I explore the reasons why Gen Z is struggling with adulthood, relationships, and navigating the challenges of real life. Many young people today are stuck in a fantasy-driven mindset, shaped by media and entertainment that detach them from reality. From distorted views of intimacy to the glorification of victimhood, these cultural forces are undermining their ability to form meaningful connections and embrace responsibility. I believe this issue isn’t just limited to Gen Z-it’s a broader societal problem that affects us all. Our culture promotes consumerism and shallow communication, leaving many young people feeling isolated and lost. But there is hope. I encourage those struggling with these issues to explore the Orthodox Church, where genuine community, real relationships, and spiritual growth can be found. It’s a place where you can reconnect with reality, find a sense of purpose, and immerse yourself in a tradition that fosters true human flourishing. If you're feeling disconnected, I invite you to look beyond the noise of modern culture and rediscover what it means to live a meaningful life. Find your local Orthodox church and experience this for yourself.

Why You’re Not the Man You Could Be
Переглядів 116 тис.16 годин тому
In this video, I speak to young men about how to grow spiritually and fully embrace authentic masculinity. We are made in the image of God, with creativity and great potential, but the challenge is growing into His likeness. True masculinity comes from a deep relationship with God-without Him, manhood is incomplete. Silence is essential for this journey, as it forces us to confront our insecuri...
When Your Father Fails You

One of the frequent dilemmas in our modern day is the lack of fatherly figures, both inside the home, and in society at large. The generation that was raised by the boomers describes nearly universal neglect, lack of participation, and outright abandonment by their fathers. This video addresses what you can do when you don't have a father figure, and how you can modify it in your personal life....

Why Modern Marriages Fail
Переглядів 79 тис.Місяць тому
Modern marriages fall apart at nearly the same place consistently. Couples get into their thirties, start having children, and the children show the weak foundational dynamics that the marriage is built on. This is not unique, since it harkens back to the sins of our forefather Adam and foremother Eve. In order for us to avoid this dynamic in marriage, we need to build our marriage in a strateg...

Why Brotherhood Doesn’t Exist in Modern Culture

Why Men Should Not Be Friends with Their Wife

Men often want to put their emotional burdens on their wife, to enjoy a kinda “two way” relationship with them. But this prevents them from truly being accessible for their wife to rely on them. Men should strive to create an environment in the family where they are the rock that everyone can rest on, drop their emotional burdens on, and find support.

I’ve always had anxiety when dealing with people that I always instinctively just smile. As a 23 year old guy I have a lot of work cut out for me. I’m always worried about what others think and have had this habit for as long as I can remember. I want to get out of my comfort zone and learn how to overcome the anxiety, but I’m just awkward when I try.

I relate to this. I just try to remember that when Christ comes back, everything will be okay. I'm not a Catholic but Mother Teresa said something like "When you're in heaven, even the worst earthly suffering will seem in hindsight like no more than an inconvenient night spent at a 2 star hotel" (massively paraphrased). Long story short = lean on Jesus and remember Rev 21:4 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed.

my whole life as GenZ is very much a mess during my 10-18 years old I felt too much destructiveness in me and I didn't really feel fit in where I live then I tried a bit here and there about Religions my parents are Christians so at first I tried Satanist but it failed due to it's like a drug that I had to stop comsuming then after that I felt too much destructiveness became a bit more nihilitistic that I went to Buddhist style then it's failed due to it's just work based but then about recently about the rise of that ALPHA MALE kind of influencer like Andrew Tates with richness life style and got the life that I desired and I saw how Muslim rise up so I tried even Ramadan diet.... it's worked but not for long.... due to I felt like in Islamic I felt too much like competiion with this worldly rules and I didn't feel too good cause I felt like Islamic teaching you like having a Master-Slave relationship with God now recently I tried Christianity again after watching some of the video about Bishop Mar Mari he stated something like directly putting Jesus vs Muhammed then I realized that those Christian who judged me a lot I didn't even feel safe.... like previously I'm not sure are they true or false Christian but what I felt around them is too much Judgemental I didn't feel love... like example in the video you mentioned about Anime issue... I still have a very ENVIOUS feeling in me.... like I don't understand on how come some of others have girls followed them even when they don't desire them back so if too long then here's the TLDR... I've always desired to have a place where I'm really belonged to ... I just didn't feel like there's someone who belonged to be and vice versa... where I don't feel like I have a place where I'm truly belong

I’m 25 (older Gen z). The difference between younger gen Z and older Gen Z is insane to me. I’ve been in the military, traveled widely for my background + age, and more. It’s incredibly hard to connect with people my age, because of this social culture and the p0rn industry. One big difference in our lifestyles now vs 20 years ago, was the accessibility of hang-out places without alcohol or smoking. Church is an awesome one, though it would help bring non-believers closer to god to have a different place to go, that encourages godliness and connection and coming to the church. “You love this cafe? Awesome, a lot of our church members work there and we could continue this conversation at our church if you’d like”. Whether a yes or no, it plants a seed for Jesus and for healthier lifestyles.

What an excellent lecture! We should base our lives on Christ and the Church --these are the only solid, wholesome foundations. We must escape the irreverence, cynicism, and nihilism of the Internet and postmodern American culture. We must find purpose and meaning through, following Christ. It's a recipe for the good life.

I deeply appreciated this video and each point you made. I was born in 2003, towards the latter part of Gen Z. I was a child of divorce and I have developed addictions to various pursuits of fantasy over the years. The feeling of isolation found in groups of the younger generations is palpable in society, you can clearly see it when you're at school, when you're online, when you're with your peers etc. We all are searching for meaning, and what a lot of us have not yet realized or have put into action, is that true meaning isn't found in video games, anime, social media, *any* form of pleasure or consumption that this world can offer. Its found in Christ, in family, in community, and in living the life that God has chosen for us to live. Its relieving yet sad to see the former confusion in a new light. How could I and so many other young men and women have been sold such a egregious lie? That's what the enemy does. I've always believed that I was meant to do great things, that I am worthy of love, worthy of a meaningful life. Those things are true, as true for me as anyone else reading this, but without God we have no way of attainment of anything everlasting or that is meaningful, there is no way on our own. I am very new in trusting God, in walking with Him, and trying my best to grow and to love the Lord and my neighbor with all of my heart. I still live a worldly life, I'm not praying as much as I need to be, I struggle with so so many difficulties. I know that every breath I take is out of grace, love, and forgiveness. Despite all the difficulties and changes, I will never give up on Jesus. I ask anyone reading this comment to please pray for me, that every day I get up I truly surrender to God and His divine will. God bless you Father Moses

Father Moses is spot on, as always. I'm 24, moved abroad a month ago to start grad school. The loneliness back home was real, but now it's even more so, even within the Church. The fear of intimacy in my generation definitely huge, but since I started bringing myself to communicate in person as much as possible, I noticed it gets even harder to find others who are willing to take that leap together. Maybe this is why it's just easier to talk to older people sometimes?

Population will decrease because there is no dating going on in gen z. Men arent procreating with women because they want a chad that has perfect facial features, a perfect body, more than a six figure salary, a stable side hustle on the side, and lots of other nonsense. Women are playing foolish games, not dating, wanting to look like anime girls, has extremely high standards, and creates a very very toxic environment, especially when the entire system is against men. Men rot inside all day playing video games, while they have to worry about how their future will either consist of being homeless for the rest of their life, or work 3 jobs fulltime to make ends meet on rent, while coming home to nothing but a couple of packs of ramen noodles, and alcohol. There is no future life for gen z, society is ruined, and it will only get worse. Gen alpha kids will have an ipad put in front of them constantly and none of them will be social.

May I also add that it's not only Gen Z; us Millennials, those in our early 30s to 39-40s, are also struggling greatly with the same carnal passions and demonic conditioning from the early days of the internet and the decline of society's Christian values. We were young enough to experience a childhood that wasn’t as corrupted, but we were in our teens when pornography-Satan's iconography-began to ruin lives. We were also the first to fall into the sinful obsession of social media addiction, with platforms like Myspace and Microsoft Messenger. We were the first Facebook users in 2008, and the first active Instagram users over a decade aggo The real distinction between us and the deeply disillusioned, often lost Gen Z is that they were never given a chance in the first place. From a young age, they’ve been spoon feed with pornography, dating apps, constant exposure to disturbing content like Netflix's Stranger Things, and explicit material starting as early as 10. They face bullying on platforms like TikTok and often spend most of their waking hours-sometimes 12 or more-in a virtual toxic reality, consumed by heightened anxiety lust and unchecked impulses. As a result, they’ve fallen into an even more profound state of despair than us millennials Father, please remember us Millennials in your prayers as well ☦
