I am just like you, I have so many garments I would like to knit and it is so frustrating like "what am I going to cast on ?" What a lovely new cast on. I almost feel tempted to make the pattern as well, but then again, my goal is actually to trim my make list for 2025 instead of adding more patterns to it 😂. Almost to the lace motive at the end the second of my Calliope. So close... but will probably finish after Christmas with all that's going on during the holidays. Having said that, Merry Christmas!

I am currently reading the epic of Gilgamesh! I honestly prefer e-books I have kobo and it is the best. I mostly read before bed and in night when everyone is asleep so I like e-books more

I found a really cheap option for blocking mats at Bunnings for $10 which were so much cheaper than marketed blocking mats (but wouldn't solve your kiddo problem). I'd love you hear about what you think of yarn options in Aus and what you end up preferring locally - especially if there's any local dyers you enjoy buying from!

I have one in Fibra Natura Papyrus, it’s not the coolest but it’s good for the in between weather. I just finished all my obligation knits including a blanket I’ve been working on since April. So I sat here and knit on the Felix Pullover which is one of the few “selfish” projects I’ve started in the last 8ish months 😊

Your enthusiasm with your Jenny jacket is making me want to cast it on. If I had the yarn I would be doing it. I Doha e the mohair but knit the other yarn. I am not sure which one to use.

I have knitted 2 cardigans and 2 sweaters.. but I have avoided patterns with german short rows.. they make me so scared 😂 but I know I must try some day. Just dont get when I supose to turn how many stiches and so on. I have watched a ton if videos but like how do I know have many sts to stop from 😂 so scared. You are so talented. Wow

Working on the sleeves of my Auguste sweater while watching! One of my goals for next year is to finally knit Andrea Mowry's Wool and Honey and I've picked some nice goldenrod colour wool for it. Not sure if it will be my first cast-on of 2025 but I do plan to buy the yarn in early January!

Oh my goodness!! Last year I literally played yarn chicken ALL the time and lost most of the time. It’s so frustrating. I probably would unravel the the ribbing and use a different color. 🤷🏻‍♀️This year I made sure I always had an extra skein.

whew, mrs unraveled, it has been a LONG week. a good week, but a LONG one. i’ve been studying abroad for the past semester, and it’s over now! finals was a lot of stress haha. but for the past week, my family came over here to england to have a holiday before we go back home for christmas, me included. that included a WHIRLWIND trip to paris (my sister got engaged!!!), and now the rest of my family is doing a day out in london. i was exhausted, so i stayed behind, and i’ve just been doing some laundry, and working on the duplicate stitch letter on my weasley christmas sweater. i NEEDED this unraveling day!! ❤ we’ve got an 8.5 hour flight tomorrow, so wish me rest, haha

You can do the same thing if you have the Alexa app you can her have read the book you as well the voice is pretty good. Once u open it search for the book using the mic
