thank you for unraveling with me 🧶 let me know what you are working on lately! don’t forget to do something that brings you comfort, and I am wishing you a very cozy week xx
Can't believe how many "mindful" knits you've got going at the same time, despite being a beginner knitter, so amazing! Your Auguste Sweater looks so cute, love the cabled raglan 😍
thank you!! I really love knits that require my memory! learning the chart etc is fun for me! I rarely have an interest in stockinette stitch patterns, I guess I worry I’ll get bored with them. but really want to try some in spring here (your fall) so I can add some ‘simpler’ pieces to my wardrobe!
thank you! we toured a bit in both coasts but I can’t wait to explore Washington state more some day! my sister is planning on moving there soon so I’ll definitely get to when we go back 🌲 thank you hayley!!
this is so calming thank you :) im based in melbourne so have definitely been using knitting a lot to get through this cold winter! i like how you talked about how knitting was something stable for you during a stressful time because i feel the same! currently (mostly) working on the jeju sweater (i also find holding yarn on both hands difficult but ive just finished the colourwork section - hooray!) happy knitting from your fellow (freezing) aussie ❣
hi sophia!! aw so glad my vlog brought you comfort & kept you company. I’m so glad you relate to that message 🫶🏻 congrats on finishing the colorwork bit, smooth sailing from here!! 🦋 hope you are keeping warm & cozy xx
actually starstruck rn that you are here unraveling with me 🥰🧶 I love your podcast! thank you for watching 💛 I wish I’d be able to finish the Book Club Cardigan with everyone!! I have like 6 inches of double knit button and left (and the pockets) while I wait for my new order of yarn 😭
I've said it before but I'll say it again; you are such a strong person Morgan ❤ I'm so in awe of everything you have done and everything you do! You have created such a cozy space here on youtube and I love watching your videoes! ✨️🥰
I am a crocheter and am teaching myself continental knitting. I am blown away with your skill after less than two years. Any tips would be much appreciated. Wishing you rays of warming sunshine xx
thank you!! I never stop learning new techniques! always watching other knitters on youtube helps a lot and tutorials whenever I try something new or need extra help 💛
currently working on the Cinema sweater by Kutovakika! this is my first knitted sweater and I'm currently working on the yoke! i know this isn't a book-related video but I finished acotar and now currently reading A Touch of Darkness! so far so good :)
thank you for watching, so glad you are reading & knitting lots of great things! haha I chatted about books in this knitting vlog too, all cozy hobby chats are always welcome in this space!! 🥰 I want to read A Touch of Darkness too!
Wonderful to see you and your family enjoying a nice sunny day 😊 Love your finished sweater! I have been knitting on the Stockholm slip over for my husband, hope to have it finished this month.
thank you so much Sylvia! that sounds like a beautiful and generous gift knit!! I am eager to knit for my husband as well now that I’ve got a few new ones going in my wardrobe 🥰🧺🧶 thank you for watching, good luck with finishing your knit xx
I'm currently working on a crochet mermaid doll/lovey! It's a pattern by StitchSisterCo & I love it. I'm also working on a lovely, blue crochet cropped sweater. That pattern is from HayHayCrochet. Currently, I'm reading Spindle's End by Robin McKinley! It's a beautifully rich retelling of Sleeping Beauty and feels very cozy. Sending you love as you finish out your long winter!
hi Elle, that is so cute!! my mom crocheted me a mermaid tail blanket when I was a teen!!🧜🏼♀️ Spindle’s end sounds sooo good, I need to check that out 🤍 thank you for watching!! xx
Fun vlog! You are very accomplished given that you've been knitting such a short while. I went to uni in Canberra and now I live in Austin, TX. Canberra can be a lot of fun. But yes Winters are so cold (sunny though!). I'm not sure if this is still the case but the suburb of Dickson used to have some really good Asian food (Malaysian laksa soup!). I hope you find some nice yarns in Manuka. Maybe you can try knitting with possum wool if you find it in the store - amazingly soft.
thank you so much for watching and sharing your insights! 🥰 that is so cool!! were you born in Aus or the US? definitely much to explore and try here!! I’ve been to a few cities in TX, what took you there? hope you are staying cool in TX summer!
@@morganunraveled I was born in Denmark actually (we've always moved around). Hubby's tech job took us to the US. Texas summer is too hot and long and I need to work out how I knit for a mainly hot weather climate (plant based fibers and tee's I guess). Austin is very hip though - delicious food and a good knitting scene. Hope Canberra is growing on you!
