hi cozy friends! ☕️ the first 500 people to use my link skl.sh/morganunraveled11241 will get a 1 month free trial of Skillshare premium! thank you for unraveling with me, I can’t wait to hear what projects & books have been bringing you comfort!
Sari is the queen of gorgeous textured sweaters. She has several new ones coming up, each prettier than the other. Your test sweater is beautiful! Can’t wait to see it completed. I’m determined to be the only person in the entire online knitting community who will never knit the Ranunculus. In fact, I blocked it years ago in my setting on Ravelry so I don’t have to see it. But no further comments so since many people love it. Great job on your Salty Day. Looks perfect on you. I love the ease on it, and the color!
thank you so much! haha as far as the ranunculus, it’s not for everyone! honestly I just yesterday mentioned to my buddy knitting friend I feel like we only made it to see what all the hype was about. I enjoyed the process but I want to be more aware going forward if I am making something because it’s popular or because it’s actually my style - something we all have to learn in our creative journeys! will have to discuss that on a future knit & chat or next podcast episode.
I normally NEVER comment, but let me just start that I really enjoy your knitting tips! I just started knitting 2 weeks ago (on the salty days sweater), that's how I found you! I'm unraveling SO much but I'm enjoying the process and not giving up. ❤ from Holland.
thank you for not only watching but taking the time to comment, your support means so much! unraveling is part of the learning process - can be so discouraging but when you know what you’re doing wrong you get a better sense of how to do it right the next go round. happy knitting x
Your Salty Days is so perfect and that Sari Nordlund test knit is just like a cosy cloud! I finished my Salty Days yesterday and I plan to post an Instagram update today. It was a journey to do that project but I think my gauge swatch was inaccurate and it's come out more oversized than I wanted but it is a cute pattern and very wearable.
thank you so much! the salty days is very oversized, I’m so happy with the fit of mine but I did size down from a L (as recommended for my bust size) to a M!🩵
Girl you have GOT to go to nundle woolen mill, you can watch them use 19th century traditional machines to card and spin their wool! Their range is amazing and they have lots of good supplies as well. If ever you want a bit of a road trip 💛
the sari nordlund test knit is stunning already! cant wait to see how u work it up. im currently knitting the leafhoppper sweater by meredith willmott. its such a fun and cozy knit. adoring the color work
thank you so much! 🤍 oh my gosh, that looks like a gorgeous project! reminiscent of the trending halibut sweater but honestly even prettier in my opinion! 😍
I turn 50 next month and decided to treat myself to Sari's book, and I absolutely LOVE it, I will be casting on one of the patterns on my birthday (hopefully I'll have all my gift knits done, lol ) also I knit the salty days along with you but I don't post pictures or anything. I hope your wrist feels better soon, Make sure to take care of yourself!
Spending a slow, cosy morning working on my fiancé’s Storm Sweater, was delighted to see a new video from you! I’d love to host a knitalong one day, sounds like you had so much fun building a community and working on the project together! ❤
aw that’s so kind, thank you for being here! oh that sounds so beautiful!! I’ve only knit the storm sweater junior but it was so fun & addictive 💓 definitely plan to do more KALs & highly recommend!! 🥰
Just hearing you talking about Isager yarn makes me want to buy some for my next sweater haha ! I agree I also feel like this yarn is so luxurious, I can't afford some right now but I will put it on my wishlist for later :) Enjoy your journey with this gorgeous sweater
definitely good to take breaks on projects when they aren’t sparking joy! thank you for spending your knitting time with me, I hope you made some progress on the socks 🫶
Animal Crossing is one of my cosy favourites too. If you've not discovered it yet, there is a whole Animal Crossing community on Twitch which is perfect background viewing whilst knitting!
