I started a new sock while watching. I finished “Becoming Mrs. Lewis” and “A Court of Thorn and Roses”-I enjoyed both. While waiting for “A Court of Mist and Fury” I am listening to “The Minimalist Home” by Joshua Becker. When I start feeling stressed and overwhelmed with our home, I reread (or in this case listen) the books that encourage simplifying my space. Then I start decluttering and I feel more relaxed.
omg so fun! I really want to knit more socks soon! I love that decluttering brings you comfort & minimizes your stress. Kayla Kempers (an author I follow on here) had a whole video about that recently. highly recommend watching her if you don’t already!
@@morganunraveled I will have to look into Kayla’s videos-I’ve never heard of her. Socks are more portable and it has been upper 80’s to low 90’s here in NC for so many days that I can’t motivate myself to start my last sweater quantity of yarn.
I can’t wait to watch your future videos with your new camera! Right now I am knitting my first tank top.. but I am worried it will be winter by the time I finish 😂 sending love from Chicago ❤
aw thank you so much!! so exciting!! 📸🧺🧶 so funny that I’m in winter racing to finish a sweater this season and you’re in summer hoping to finish a tank!! hope you get to wear it this year 🤍☀️
When you started talking about the EO from the book I was like wait he drank it?! Yes, always use a carrier oil. I usually carry with me a small bottle of the digize EO whenever my tummy is feeling bad and I have shared it at work a few times but I always advise do not put it on straight get some oil or at least maybe some unscented body lotion/cream in a pinch!! I started the before the coffee gets cold series a a couple years ago. I just bought the latest one a few months ago and just noticed another one is coming out in the fall! I literally have no idea when the series will end. They are cozy, easy stories so I don't mind reading them. I like to read them 'one story' at a time so I stay in that little world awhile longer. :)
eeee a fellow aromatherapy lover, and a bookworm too?? yayyy 🦋 yeah, that part of the plot was wild. so many people don’t know you can’t ingest EO (especially because doterra & YL huns often promote EO’s as consumables) so I don’t fault the author for that being part of the plot… but why would the MC tell him to put pure EO on his skin!? I can’t wait to read it!! I love cozy reads, and I like that idea of savoring them by reading one at a time!📚 thank you for watching!
I am working on the off-kilter cardi test knit for oops and loops and I’ve been reading turtles all the way down by John green 😊 you’re making me want to knit the book club cardi! Also I totally agree with all of your opinions on the lost apothecary
oooh so fun, hope you are enjoying the test knit! I really enjoyed Turtles All the Way Down, John Green’s writing is so dear to my inner child/teen soul 🫶🏻 you definitely should join the KAL!!! it’s not too late!! I know you have other obligations w your test knit, but the group chat is so fun and the pattern is so addictive! also so validating you agreed with my thoughts on the lost apothecary! thank you for watching 💗
@@morganunraveledsame! this is actually a re-read for me (I'm an OCD specialist and it was a book club pick for my OCD therapist book club haha) but it meant to much to me when it first came out!!
So much progress on the book club cardi, so exciting! I definitely agree with you about Bridgerton season 3, I wish we had gotten flashbacks, it just makes so much sense for their season to have flashbacks and the fact that we didn't have any was so disappointing... Also Colin just spent too long being "mad" at Penelope, so it was definitely lacking in romance I feel 😞
it’s such an addictive pattern!! I’m so glad I’m not the only one that was disappointed with season 3. I understand their conflict but there was just toooo much emphasis on it and not enough romance. one of my favorite things in season 1 & 2 is the tension of anticipation & the “almost kiss” moments but whenever he professes his love they just… go at it 😅😂
i'm currently working on a crochet top & knitting a pair of socks as well! as far as reads, I finished Haunting Adeline and now reading A court of Thorns and Roses. I don't know if I'm an audiobook girl right now but I will say that I finished reading HA as an audiobook (I know, call me crazy!) and it wasn't that bad to me so I might read acotar as an audiobook to see if it's something I like!!
Loved this! And love that you live somewhere with the same seasons as I do. Also currently working on sweaters! Such curated cozy vibes. Subscribing :)
thank you so much! so glad I could bring you some comfort! it’s so nice to see people online with the same season as you, I am currently living in Australia. while I’m living vicariously through all the summery knits on my feed, it’s nice to know others are currently in their sweaters too 😂🧺
I completely agree about The Lost Apothecary. I really didn’t like the present timeline. My current read is The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty.
glad it isn’t just me!! I felt like I was being pretty hard on it. the past timeline was interesting & wish more was done with it, but the present was giving nothingggg.
hi cozy friend 🤍🧺 what is your cozy comfort this week? reading or watching anything good??
thank you for watching! 🫶🏻
That was really sweet of your hhusband!
he’s the best!! and he’s gotten a bit obsessed with marketplace since our move lol! 😂
