One tip for drilling plastic pipe , siding or even nice wood that we do , is start the hole by drilling in reverse. It starts the cut without ripping the material

Hears a hack on a hack. Sitting on that step stool for a while might fatigue your back side after a few hours. Take one of those knees pads you used for the makeshift bobbers and set that on the stool for a little padding. Also, you may want to make a leash from paracord and tie it to the pad and stool so it dont blow away.😊

Here's a tip... go back up north, trash.

For the first hack, don’t buy tennis balls, get them for free. Swing by your local tennis court, especially the morning after a league night, and you’ll often find a can of balls or some single balls left there by more advanced players who have worn the balls out. Or, often there will be some lying in the grass outside of the courts that someone forgot to retrieve or figured it was not worth retrieving a worn out or flat ball.

I use the plastic 5 size hook protectors ( clear or yellow ) , If you order them from Temu is the cheapest i have found . $11.99 for 250 count .. Really these are the way to go Jerry

Thank you very much for showing how to tied mono to braided line. After years of not doing any fishing, I'm starting to get back into it. I was very heavy into Bass fishing in the 90's so I've been cleaning rods, reels and replacing lines. At least the lures I have were new in the 90's, todays fish haven't seen them.😅

I use a mesh laundry basket from dollar store for minnows. works great. tie it through the lip and it closes when you lift it!

We use those pool noodles by cutting a strip out (like you did for the basket live well) and then hanging it on the gunwhale. Easy place to hook lures while out fishing for easy access or when switching. Super handy. thanks for the ideas!

Jerry. That lure you used for the loop.uni looks like an old Producers (Roscoe's Shiner). Used to buy those as a kid at Kmart since they were cheap but worked great. Nice retro flashback and great knot info!

Love the bobbers and the anchor. I didn't know about the net thing for your food. I think I saw them but it didn't register. I'm wondering if I could use them in the shop when painting small item to keep dust from settling on them.

In sewing that's a french knot

I recommend using a short wooden dowel to wrap the line around to the tension on the knot, also wet the line and knot so it slides without as much friction.

Use the improved clinch knot making 10 to 12 turns and it won't pull loose. I use it and have not yet lost a fish
