I would think that the pool noodle makes the anchor less effective since it has flotation properties. It may be fine for what your doing or what lakes you fish.

@@JerrysRetirementWisdom65 it's a great idea but here in Louisiana we have lots of stuff on Lake bottoms. Rare to find smooth sand or pebbles
