Hello my friends,
Super excited to be sharing my absolute favorite meal prep recipe, Healthy Hibachi with Yum Yum Sauce. Not only is this a super delicious way to spice up your meal prep but it's also packed with plant proteins. Perfect for building lean muscle while in a weight loss phase. My hubby Brad is tag teaming with me in this weeks well food Wednesday video. So excited to share this delicious recipe with you!
In other news I'll be taking a short hiatus from UA-cam until April. We have lots of life changes going on (Brad deploying, signing for our first house and moving... yes in that order). - 1 large sweet onion
- 2 Zucchini Sliced
- 8 Ounces Pre Washed + Pre Sliced Mushrooms
- Season With All Purpose Seasoning (see below)
○ Fried Rice
- 1 Tbs Olive Oil
- 3 Cups Cooked Jasmine Rice
- 1 Tbs Coconut Aminos
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- Season With All Purpose Seasoning (see below)
○ Teriyaki Tofu
- 1 - 2 Tbs Olive Oil
- 1 Block Super-Firm Tofu
- 1 Tbs Coconut Aminos
- 1 Tbs Tapioca Flour
- ¼ Cup Store-Bought Teriyaki Sauce
○ All Purpose Seasoning:
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
○ Yum Yum Sauce
- 1 Cup Vegan Mayo
- 2 teaspoon Tomato Paste
- 2 teaspoon Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

    Raw cane sugar may be less processed, but it's not healthier. The chemistry is the same. It's sucrose. And it has been processed, just not as much. The bodies reaction to it is the same. It will still cause insuline spikes no different than processed sugars. The raw cane sugar is just not as pretty and consistent in the size of the sucrose crystals. You will still get a fatty liver from 'raw' cane sugar and eventually Type II diabetes. All sugars are unhealthy unless you are getting them directly by eating the whole fruit or vegetable or potatoe. Eating whole fruits slows down the absorbtion of the sucrose and frutose thus leveling or extending out the insulin spikes. The moral of this story is that the only 'healthy' sugars are those sugars you get directly from eating the whole fruits or vegetables. Honey, molases, are the same. Eat an apple or a carrot if you want to be healthy. Thumbs down for your obviously unresearched comments.

      The puréed fruit help sweeten it and gives moisture. It’s just a lot more convenient than having to purée / blend up berries

    I can’t wait to try this! They look amazing! Would this work with a 1 to 1 gluten free flour blend? I can’t eat oats, so gluten free flour is what I keep at home. If so, any thoughts on how much I should use? ☺️

      I do keto so I would exchange the oats for 1/2 c of coconut flour. Coconut flour absorbs a lot of liquid so you only need half as much. Legume flour would also work well.

    I liked the idea, but you messed up your donuts when you decided to fry them in canola oil. It is well-known that canola, corn, and soy oils are really bad fat for our bodies. Coconut oil would have been a better choice.

      I’m sorry you feel as if I messed up the recipe. However, I did not. If you’re concerned with canola oil you could always use safflower oil. Coconut oil does not deep fry well at all. It has a low smoke point and would burn before reaching frying temp. It’s fine to use canola in moderation. Here on my channel healthful living is about balance. There are no good foods or bad foods. Just food.

    Also what to do if you dont have processor or blender? its fine to just mix no?

      So I would just purchase oat flour if you don’t have a blender. If you don’t at least blend the oats the texture will be off

    Question: the video says 3/4 cup egg whites, but your website with macros says 2/3 cup egg whites which one is it? I need help before picking the wrong measurement. Thank You

      I’m sorry you feel that way. Can I be honest with ya… I think the first half of your comment could have been left out. I wanted the recipe to be very detailed for people who aren’t as experienced in the kitchen. I also wanted to feature my husband since he’s deployed and I miss him. So I think the length of this video is perfect 👍
