Переглядів 136 тис.4 місяці тому
there is so much we can learn about ancient history, not from wars and philosophers, but from regular people. today, thanks to their at first glance mundane and everyday yet at the same time quite bizarre writings we can draw some very interesting parallels between past and present day. customer complaints, ancient roman graffiti, Egyptian yelp reviews and even prehistoric memes show us that we...
the homoeroticism in renaissance art
Переглядів 119 тис.4 місяці тому
Michelangelo's poems, Leonardo da Vinci's lover and Guido Reni's obsession with creating the perfectly androgynous St. Sebastian. those things aren't really talked about that often even though homosexuality was much more common during the renaissance than we though, and it's clearly seen in the artwork of the time. so happy pride month to all the artists in 15-16th century Florence.

I have my childhood stuffed animal but I don’t sleep with it anymore because I don’t want her to decay anymore 😭🤚
1. Yes, a 12in Squishmallow Frog named "Forg." 2. Semi-homie. Interesting note: I didnt really sleep with stuffies as a kid, and only made the conscious decision to start collecting them as an adult. When I was younger, I cuddled with my sister, and when I went to college, it was necessary to find an alternative since I didnt know what to do with my arms anymore. At first it was a pillow, but after I started watching a youtuber who collected squishmalllows, I started collecting them too. I now need Forg to sleep for comfort more than anything, or something similar.
I sleep with 23 plushies, out of witch 15 are over a decade old, and all 23 are my homies
What I learned: If Poopie shows up and tries to sell me a sword, buy one.
Okay prove you wrong here we go so its cultural importance it's mainly tied to the decline of the housewife as food knowledge in general became less abundant the modern American family was also disbanded through various means women join the workforce all of this and more leads to kids slapping together their own sandwich so it is synonymous with poverty and the lack of ability to to cook however that is not to say that it doesn't have its place amongst the pantheon try making a grilled cheese with any other kind of bread and making it without American cheese is also unsatisfying
As pointed out the dachshund is used in hunting by, for example, badgers, but also a fantastic hunter of foxes, hares, deer, and, moose. The dachshund is a loyal dog, but at the same time a stubborn little rascal with a lot of energy and love. I personally own a brindle dachshund bitch, and she is without a doubt the best dog out of the nine dogs I/we have had since my childhood.
When you said that owning a stuffed animal means you’re a broken individual at the start I buried my face into my stuffed animal ( I’m actually cuddling with them as I’m watching this video lmao) Also Q1 yes. Q2 yes, he well actually they are my homies
I do have a baby. His name, is Lionee. He is a lion. He’s not a very detailed Lion. But he is a Lion. He is my best friend, there was a point in time I would have nightmares unless I slept with him so I thought he was protecting me. Lionee has been with me since I was a babe. He is very precious, and very dear to me. I would murder for him.
I guarantee if you roast your own to your preferred doneness, you’ll like it. It’s just that all of the mainstream coffee brands whether out if a store or from a franchise all are vastly over roasted and overpriced for a near inedible product. No amount of sugar or cream will mask that pure charcoal taste.
fyi recycling is a bit of a lie, particularly glass and plastic since they're very energy intensive to recycle. Reducing consumption is the best we can do at an individual level.
You remind me of little Miss fortune 🥰
Im eating a dinosaur right now! A nice juicy delicious scrumptious erotic chicken nugget
1) Yass 2) Yass
0:10 pause 🧐 what bro? 💀
I have BPD and I didn't know that about the stuffed animals but it explains a lot of things, wow...
My dad had a pretty traumatic childhood and my mother thinks it’s affected his tendency to hold onto things like boots, books, postcards, in other words hoarding and not wanting to throw anything away that gives him comfort. It’s an interesting theory
The thing in your thumb nail was not cute, it made me primally upset like it sent me into fight or flight
The alternative to hair removal with great health benefits: 100 Push-ups 100 Sit-ups 100 Squats 10 kilometer run Every single day for 3 years!

Didnt think id cry about winer dogs before bed ever but here i am.
Speaking of unique methods of destroying one's cognitive functionality- look up "hysterectomy associated cognitive decline".
you got way better at drawing really quick
So it's like what we did to pigeons.
1) yes I just got her a few months ago 2) she’s my favorite plush and I take her everywhere 3) she’s not necessarily my childhood stuffy but I am a child still so technically she is 4) if you take her from me I will be very sad
She made her voice or Is just that cute
From:😃 To: The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race🚬
faygo SPECIFICALLY orange faygo 🤤 best orange drink out there
i don’t have a childhood stuffed animal but i have a blankie. She’s as old as i am and she has strawberry shortcake on her. I love her
now lets talk dinosaur meat
Im a even weirder variation of this, instead of normal comfort i get romantic and sexual atraction/comfort from my favorite stuffed animals >-> i also am very nerodivergent and bipolar wtf mannn Also fun lil thing, the name for romantic, platonic, and/or sexual atraction to plushies is called plushum, often confused with the fetish, plushophilia :3
Also obviously i am more than hommies with some of my plushies, my favorite (a plush 2006 commonwealth bunny) is one i only got around 2 years ago but i quite literally go nowhere without them. They come to the store, to family member's places, to restaurants, and everywhere i can :3 like they are one of my partners and yes im fully aware it's just a mass of cloth and stuffing in a shape that i find cute but like theyre perfectly sized to carry and hug >< can you tell i have autism TwT
Yeah!!!!!!!!
My weiner dog is best weiner dog and named Henry. He is best badger dog with big heart tiny head face hole.
Grasshoppers are delicious and crunchy like chips but healthier 😎🤖
Best explanation of communist I've seen yet. And now I want chocolate cake.

Okay i know that legitimately everyone noticed the Sam O'nella reference but DID ANYONE NOTICE THE SAM O'NELLA REFERENCE??!?!!??
in a guy and im schizoaffective and still have my security blanket from when i was little. I only really use it when im feeling anxious and depressed, but I still bring it out occasionally and im 26
I was wondering if you’re making this vid in an elevated mental state (or so).^^
As mentioned in the video, after laser hair removal you will need top-ups to get rid of eventual new hair growth. The only permanent hair removal is electrolysis, which I strongly recommend looking into =)
Rats got the dodo
1. I have a container of stuffed animals from childhood I can't let go of out of excessive empathy and personification. Toy Story has made this so much worse. 2. No.. they aren't my homies.. I am too wracked with guilt to look them in the eyes. I don't dare to get more because this means I lose control over my spaces/storage, because I can never get rid of it. send help
wayy late but 1. I have many a stuffed animal! although my favourite one is some ytber merch that i got abt 3 years ago 2. 100%, he's my best bud, my pal, my friend and chum, and most importantly, my son
Every time my mum suggests giving away any of my plushies I look at her like "WHAT? NO!" Like, I have some plushies I wouldn't mind giving away since I might not associate a lot of memories with them, but sometimes when I think about it I think all my plushies have memories associated with them - some more than others.
As I got older my bedtime plushies got more practical 😂 I've got Sponge the IKEA shark for torso support and Chef/Sargent/General Toast for knee and hip support. Don't get me wrong. Hoopla (the hippo) loyal friend for 21 years, is still beside the bed. She's mental support lol. Who am I kidding, I've got most of my baby plushies, a trunk full of my favorite plushies, a wall of squishmallows, a laundry basket of beanies, and a few extras on the shelf because they're *special*. I also make plushies and patterns now so 😜🤪
Damn, penguins're fuckin' badass.
Poopie secretly a freak
Oh yes I certainly do 1. I have a Pound Puppy named Buddy that I got for Christmas during a pretty traumatizing year of my life 2. Buddy is 100% a homie But I also have many other plushies that I adore primarily from IPs that are really special to me (we don’t talk about how many Sonic plushies I own)
are we actually the body? or we are something else that we can scientifically analyze?
