Awww yeah it is a great property, I go there often to visit my friends. I have one that is 11 hectares, 2 ruins, lots of water sources which could easily be made into a lake, waterfalls etc, views that are out of this world… €75,000 we haven’t filmed it yet 😊 💕

Hi there, average winter daytime temps are around 10°c / 15°c, nighttime down to 0°c but normally around 5°c (odd nights lower). Summer daytime temps up to 40°c max, normally around 32° - 35°. Hope that helps 😁

@@Farmerforfun i’m trying to find the summer temperatures that I’m showing read like this: the temperature you gave is 104°F being American that is just too high for me but when I research it, it shows this information: In the Serra da Estrela region of Portugal, the average temperature throughout the year is considered mild, with summers seeing highs around 75°F (24°C) and winters experiencing lows around 34°F (1°C); the average high temperature is around 51°F (11°C) and the average low is around 34°F (1°C). Key points about Serra da Estrela temperatures: • Summer (June - August): Highs typically around 67°F - 75°F (19°C - 24°C) with cooler nights. • Winter (December - February): Lows often near freezing with highs around 45°F (7°C). • Spring and Autumn: Moderate temperatures with highs in the 50s - 60s°F (10°C - 16°C). So I guess what I’m trying to determine is where do I need to be in Portugal where I can get those temperatures in the summertime listed that I’ve just posted in that area do I have to actually be in the mountains? Do you have any insight on that I appreciate a little bit more Information if you can provide it I don’t mind 80s but I could never do hundred degree days for the majority of time of the summer months. Hi Liam, thanks for asking my friend. I have always been an animal lover and although for many reasons we wished to move to central Portugal, I would say that pretty high up on my list was being able to farm as many of the animal products that I consume as possible. To get all the way there was a pretty unobtainable goal, but every bit that is possible is a win for me. My Portugal goals have now evolved somewhat since the creation of my little family here, now I want to be able to raise my two kids as close to nature as possible, with livestock, veggie patches, fruit orchards (we have a cherry farm) etc. I hope that helped and thank you for the really great question! Hi! I only ever milk mine if they won’t take their lamb or if there’s a problem lambing, for example taking milk from another mother to give to a different lamb. Mine are meat breeds so not great for milk production 😁

@ Ok, I’ve been looking into sheep’s milk. It’s ment to be very creamy and more suitable for humans than cows milk. I’ve not tried any yet but I will be doing.

Yes absolutely, I stand to be corrected but I think goats milk is actually even more beneficial (just check that first though), closest thing to human milk and easier for our stomachs to digest

Hello there, thank you for the message. Yes, it certainly can get to freezing, frost will only be present in the odd shaded area though, once the sun comes up it melts away super quickly. Summer gets hot but depends what you’re doing, if you are outside and can pick your hours for work you can easily avoid the hottest parts of the day 😁 🥵
