Bon Dia Joseph and Andre! I never heard of those coat trees 😮lol! This is a gorgeous ruin! This property is perfect for privacy and peace. I love to hear the Portuguese language from Andre, but he seems to like to speak English. I found a lot of people in Portugal didn’t like or couldn’t understand English. I was on São Miguel Azores for a few months. Border patrol made me buy a return ticket lol, so I couldn’t stay longer until I get my visa back in US.
Like looking you and Andre, videos nearly complete. You did mention about borehole, not expensive yes. But it s complete with all the material on it?. Still looking my perfect place. Keep coming.❤ I like to visit Andre next year, for honey/miel. Thank you.
Thanks for another great property video full of information about nature and Portuguese culture and habits. And the discovery of the very rare Coat Tree 😂. What a beautiful property. Yours and André’s suggestions of things to do or change in the property are very helpfull. Would you both consider teaching some short courses on for example indigenous fruit trees/ bee keeping/ etc? I would gladely travel from Lisbon for them.
Hello again i am always watching the videos . This one look a bit of me and the prices is perfect. I have mentioned befor i am currently doing a refurbishment in the uk but hoping to come out and explore in the new year . Keep them coming 👍
Hello, bon dia Well, I am today one of the first of your followers. This property is so beautiful that I am in the need to write this: Those habitats should not be destroyed by humans
Hello Joseph, You refer to medronho as moonshine. Here in the back country in Kentucky and Tennessee in the US the raw distilled liquor is referred to as White Lightning.
Thank you for showing the property. I will say it when I can see the value from the property, but in this particular case I can't see it. Personally I prefer to see more practical farm properties, and with this property I see too many negatives. But we all have a different preference so I can live with that.
I guess the owner cuts the trees and sell them. Or a company cuts them and take the trees. And they would pay something for the wood. Anyway, in this case, there are too many and someone has to remove them. Be it the current owner (or family) or the new owner.
I cant confirm in this case, but sometimes large forestry companies will pay the land owner to grow trees there, they will do the planting, occasional maintenance if required and the logging at the end. Im aware of one case where a large land area was bought, but didnt include the contract, so the forestry company continued to pay the old owner, while the new one was not allowed to touch the trees. Be careful!
Many do. It has to do with inheritance of property by the heirs of the property. If the owner passes away very often all the heirs inherit a piece of the property. Some sell it, some keep it. And over time you get all these weird shapes. In my country we had the same issue with farmland. But they solved the issue by swapping equal parts of farmland with other farmers so that the majority of the different farm fields could be reshaped into nice rectangular shapes. In my country that is possible because all the land is flat and equally usable, and mostly used for seasonal crops like corn or grain or potatoes, or fodder for animals. And in other cases one heir or more heirs buy out the other heirs so that the business can be continued by one or more heirs.
The price is 55.000. A complete renovation depending how you want it. I would say between 25-50.000. But i'm not an expert and not a contractor. It's just a rough guess.

Missing the updates from your own farm and family :)
Bom dia, Joao. Spell check had changed "dia" to diaper. I'm glad I caught it. Wouldn't want you to think strangely of me. Lol
Gorgeous property
Beautiful Gina in Upstate New York moving to Portugal

Is the North side capable to grow food to sustain a couple of people with less heat sun ect ?.
Hi would like to know where this property is located. What's the name of the village close by?
Thanks
Regards😊
Pampilhosa da Serra, Portugal.
It's on the description on this video as well as on the website. Beautiful spot
So you can just live in that property???
Yes, just breathe and you will live ;)
Define live
@@lost_porkchop stay there legally without breaking any rules/regulations (of course I mean after you fix it up etc etc
Yes, he said you can put another storey on the building as well
@@davidoff59you can't, no way you're going to get a habitation licence for it
I am wondering about the clearing of the pine trees. Is that done by the government, and if so is it at a cost to the property owner?
I guess the owner cuts the trees and sell them. Or a company cuts them and take the trees.

Andre seems to own half of Central Portugal.
Hello, it isn’t Andres property, Andre and I advertise them 😁 💕
I think the term, "Moonshine", is associated with illegal goings-on. I think that what Andre referrs to is quite legal.....or? 😊 Nice mountain plot.
AFAIK it's legal to distill your own medronho aguardente, but not to sell it.
What is the purpose of the video? You try to sell me this land?
Because it is kinda working😂
Are all Portuguese properties shaped so strangely?
Not all of them. Some are square, or round. Some go in all directions. From very small to very wide.
This one is not so bad i think.
Many do. It has to do with inheritance of property by the heirs of the property. If the owner passes away very often all the heirs inherit a piece of the property. Some sell it, some keep it. So the property cost and how much would it cost to renovate the ruin?
The price is 55.000. A complete renovation depending how you want it.
I would say between 25-50.000. But i'm not an expert and not a contractor. It's just a rough guess.
You probably could also put a wooden cabin on the land. And live in that, while taking the time to renovate the building.

Do you EVER have anything that is WALK IN READY where a person can actually LIVE permanently that’s actually AFFORDABLE ? Nobody wants a RUIN…
