Hi Joseph. so beautiful small plot, i always love to see your videos. I will love to invest on this property. Will you help me to find a lawyer to process this deal. I am from asia so i must help from lawyer.
No one who follows this channel is surprised to find that Andre is knowledgeable about horses...in the natural world, what is he not knowledgeable about? Thanks for another beautiful property. I follow you at least partly for the clear fondness between you and Andre, like watching 2 brothers interacting.
Lovely place. I went for a stroll this morning in my little neck of Moravian woods and found a little clearing with a wild cherry tree full of little sweet red cherries. They tasted delicious :)
Wow, this would be perfect for me. I love it. Even if I don't ever get there, now I am dreaming and enjoying myself thanks to both of you! Thank you so much!
I love this place so much. I am really considering this one. Can easily see me and the dogs enjoying life here. Thank you both for the amazing tour and I will be back in touch soon xx
You’re only at the gate and I’m already in love with this one 🏡..Then Andre stopped to smell the roses and I was ready to get my passport out…wish I could buy this one 🙏🏽💕added edit..Andres knowledge and stories are an added bonus, thanks for sharing 😊
DREAMY❤❤❤❤❤ I Love It! TOO!! Thanks for the new Portuguese fruit name that I picked up this morning, Andre. Romã = Pomegranate ❤ As always, thanks Joseph. Lovely.
p.s. We have a variety of tomato 🍅 called roma, smaller and kind of oblong... Joseph probably already told you. Campari tomato is my variety of choice lately, they're sold on the vine and still taste close to a tomato. Homegrown big boys or better boys tomatoes are off the chain. 👌
Come to think of it, a pomegranate seed is the same shape as the roma tomato, probably how it garnered it's variety name. lol Romas are also a little sweeter.
Joseph e André, vocês mostraram um pequeno paraíso,❤ que se Deus me desse a benção de vender uma terra que tenho aqui no Brasil, eu iria correndo comprar
Joseph, your English has acclimated to Portuguese. This happened to me when I lived in Lisboa for a year about 30+ years ago. (After I went back to US...my friends said my English was a bit odd.) You said to Andre...after he tried a mulberry..."it's a bit immature"....instead of saying 'it's not ripe yet'.
how big is the land area...is the cottage with aproval to live in or what is the parcel status...rustic..combination or? Can u help during the purchase? from the two properties you showed so far ...this one and the new video both i really love them...Are prices negotiable? thanks.
Hello!! They are both cracking properties! This one here is 2,500m2 (half an acre), the other is 10,000m2 (1 hectare). We are here throughout all the purchase process and afterwards too? With whatever you need. I always say everything is negotiable, but depends on the individual sellers 😊
They have no requirement unless you need a visa, in which case you will need to research your individual visa requirements, I should imagine looking up the D2 or D7 visa might be a good place to start 😊
Hi Joseph. so beautiful small plot, i always love to see your videos. I will love to invest on this property. Will you help me to find a lawyer to process this deal. I am from asia so i must help from lawyer.
Very nice Joseph and André but a lot of work for someone who is looking to retire! My preference would be something with less land and good habitation, sure someone will love it though 😊
Might be a fair bit of work for the builder, the people retiring would not have too much work, other than the usual paperwork required when purchasing a property. a nice ride on lawn mower or paying a person one day every couple of weeks would be sufficient for keeping this plot manicured
@Farmerforfun Sorry, but I don't think you mentioned whether one could live in this building legally all-year round as a registered residential property. If you can, what is the exact address then? It must have a civic number and a caderneta? What about sewage, electricity, water main? Unfortunately, this info seems to often get brushed aside by real estate agents. Just ask for permission, they say, it is as simple as that. No biggy. A lot of us know that Portugal is cracking down on these types of properties and many unscrupulous sellers just want to unload them onto unsuspected buyers. I am not saying that is the case here but it is still a reality. Beware people, never get emotional when it comes time to choose a property. There are many restrictions and lots of red tape. Forearmed Is Forewarned.
Hello, I did indeed mention that you can live in this property, I will not of course give the exact address out here on UA-cam though, if you want to email us we can arrange a viewing, get the paperwork to your lawyer etc / whatever you would like. We absolutely are not brushing anything aside, the property is legal and habitable and we have paperwork that can show this. The current owners did not complete a build and want to sell, sewage will need to be a private septic due to the distance from mains, this costs 1,200 to have a septic installed. electricity and water is mentioned when I put the map on the screen, forgive me for not knowing the exact minute to quote here, water is either via a capped well or borehole, capped well here is cheaper but borehole is €25 per metre in the ground at the assumed depth of 50 / 60 m here
Hello there, all that info is in the film, but I’ll write it here in case you didn’t catch it. house is 60m2 footprint, 120m2 usable area is permitted. land size is 2,500m2
Is this property just an agricultural support building that's licensed for habitiation? is there a made up road to it?? what are the rules regarding getting habitation permission for this kind of building?
We mentioned in the video it is habitable. Most people interested in buying a property want to see the whole thing, the stream, the fruit trees and what the land looks like… If I didn’t show all those things I would get the comments asking “why didn’t you show the land?” 😂 The beauty of the videos though is that if you are only interested in seeing one part of the land you can skip to that part very quickly! Hope you understand why we feel it is important to film everything and not just the house.
Don't bother with a weedwacker...just bring in the sheep or goats to clear the property! So much more 'green', way less noisy and less pollution from the gas/oil running the weedwacker. In Wisconsin, my state, US, there are ppl who rent out their goats to clear areas, add natural fertilization and good for goats since they get different foods that they would normally have. The first horse thing...the steering wheel...I think it is called a 'bit'. Goes in the mouth. Does Andre do videos in Portuguese? Since I have rare opportunities to speak to anyone with my language ability and I had not been to Castelo Branco area...so unfamiliar with their accent. Would love to hear his property description in Portuguese. Andre should do a video, even if it's in Portuguese, about all the old ways of doing things on small homesteads in Portugal. This could also help the foreigners who find themselves in an old house, not knowing what those things are. Is there a local or national museum that would take all the old things to do a historical display? Would hate to see those items go to the trash...since they are a part of Portuguese history.
We loved this little cottage, let us know what you think in the comments!
Hi Joseph I’ve sent an email to your farmer for fun email off the property site x

We can not wait to move over ❤
Thank you Joseph & Andre! 😘😘
Woo! Bless you Jane! Looking forward to seeing you both super soon!!!

Is this sold? If so identify it as such.
That little farm has got everything you could want, peace and tranquility. Heaven.

Ohh nice!! I’ve already eaten nearly my body weight in cherries this year haha!!
Gorgeous property once again. Thanks Joseph for sharing and Andre for the local information!
Our pleasure!
What a cute little farm🥰 I'll definitely be sharing this as I know a few people who would love this!
Awwwh, thank you, I hope you are doing well!!! 💕

yes joseph congratulations to you I have seen your video after a long time, you have bought a new car, congratulations to you on the new car.
Thank you so much, that’s Andre’s vehicle, and a very nice one it is too, we often go up the top of the mountain off roading in it, such fun!
Adorable. Great piece of land. If you can add to the building it would be perfect. Going up a level would work. 55K is a steal.
It is possible to add to the building but I doubt it given the location and land size, I would imagine it has to stay within the current footprint
Bom dia Andre, Hello Joseph !!! Fantastic property
One of your finest finds to date Joseph & Andre. 60m2 is a great size too; not too small but big enough for two or three, plus 🐓 🐓
How did you get to be so fluent in Portuguese?
Excellent!

Lovely video, loved the little cottage, well done xx😊
Thanks so much nan! 😊
What a lovely property, the land is a good manageable size. A little bigger house would be nice, but still a bargain
Lovely cottage, Josef Thanks!
I think so, pretty place!!
Beautiful little property.
It really is!
great piece of land with super food collection!

Iove all your videos.🌞
Thank you so much!
As Andre is the naturalist, I'd like his take on prevalence of oat plants on this property
They would be very good down on that bottom pasture!
@@Farmerforfun Is it a native spring weed or is it naturalized from previous agriculture?
Provei medronho certa vez que fiz uma caminhada com os Caminhantes de Coimbra, adoraria ter essa fruta para fazer licor, assim como a ginginha😢
Opa fica bem né?
Adoro que posso ouvir em português and my husband can also listen in English.
Awwwwh, thank you, glad you liked it! 💕
Hi Joseph and Andre, good morning. Is this property sold already? If not like to visit it. Thank you.
Hello there, yes this one has sold now. sorry. you can check our website out to see the status of all the properties we show, www.farmerforfun.com
how big is the land area...is the cottage with aproval to live in or what is the parcel status...rustic..combination or? Can u help during the purchase? from the two properties you showed so far ...this one and the new video both i really love them...Are prices negotiable? thanks.

I am considering to buy a farm based property in Portugal, very skeptical about the process though especially coming out of California.
Speak with us, regardless if you buy through us, we will help with everything we can!
Is the road well used outside the property please? And what is the area of land in total please? Thanks
Hello there, it is just over half an acre and the road is a dead end, so just feeds two farms past this one 😊
Thank you once again, I could not find the information, how big was the land ?
Very good price for what you get 👍
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful just needs lots of TLC!!!!
How far from Electricity
❤❤❤❤❤❤ Perfect!🥰
nice piece of land Joe!
Thank you!! 💕
It's a "bit" a part of a horse's bridle.
Perfect!! Thank you!
Very nice 👌
Thank you so much!! 💕
@@Farmerforfun Retiring soon. Love ❤ Portugal.
excellent! anything out need just let us know!
Wondering if these buildings and rooms within the building have any odor to them. It the humidity in the area low or high.
Does it have a habitation license?
Hello there, yes, I mentioned that in the video!
Really like this place. A lot of work before we could live in it but it would be worth it.
I totally agree!!
Great property. Would be great if you could write the name of the town at the beginning of your video as we do not all know Portugal. Thank you.
Hello there my friend, it is written on the screen in the first ten seconds 😊
@@Farmerforfun must have missed it or I am becoming blind :). Thanks
A horse bit. Looks like a driving bit.
Ahh ok! I knew someone would know the English name, I’m not up on horse words 😂 🐎
Would you be able to add a bathroom?
How far is it from the swimming beach?
So 2400 sqm right?
It is a little more than that, but yes, 2,500m2 in total
It it permitted by building regulations to open up the downstairs rooms into one bigger room?
How many square meters does the property have, farmhouse?

If it wasn't for Brexit I would be there tomorrow.
Me too .. fked us all
D7 visa is an option for portugal

Gotta b more than a 1/2 acre ?
Looks closer to 1.5 acres from the map view..

Very difficult for ppl to learn Portuguese if there are no neighbors. Very little incentive.

Spending too much time farting about with fruit and not at the property.
Is that cottage habitable all year round
