I love all the talk about foraging and André is a goldmine of information on the flora and the fauna! Thanks for all the explanations, that is a very beautiful view there and lots of potential for a beautiful build and you two are so at ease talking together, thanks for saving Mr Snake too!
I can see the value from the property, especially if the farm equipment is included in the price. Compared to Dutch prices of property it is even very cheap. For comparison, an empty plot that is 1000 square meters, at the edge of a village, just an average location that is nothing special, will cost you around 350 000 Euro. If you go to more desired locations the price will only go up, sometimes quite a lot when you go closer to a city or the capital city area which is near the Dutch coastline. And here in the Netherlands the prices are not negotiable. If there are more buyers for the same plot the price might even go up, because very often buyers are willing to offer even more as the asking price because we have a big shortage of houses and available land. Thanks for relocating the snake and for sharing the video 👍
I’m glad people are more educated about wild life and their benefits these days, if it was my dad 30 years ago he would have waked it and killed it ! Of course I don’t live in Portugal at the moment, live in Australia so we don’t want to have those encounters around here 😂 Loved watching another video
Joseph you can bring that little snake to my property they're helpful like you said they eat the rodents. Great vid talk soon. I will be arriving in December, Gina in Upstate New York USA moving to Portugal
Lovely piece of land, If i were twenty years younger id be interested, great to see that you and Andre have such care for wildlife and nature, is there a constant concern regarding wildfires in Portugal?I'm interested to buy somewhere a bit drier ,sunnier and affordable as live in Ireland , a lot of wet weather and expensive properties.Grew up on a small farm so could be looking for small house with 3-4acres. Perhaps i'll email ye some day, love your videos.❤Ger
The only flying ants I’ve ever heard of are termites; are these not termites? Thank you for saving the snake. We believe all animals deserve the respect you gave him.👍
No they are not termites. They are ants, and every ant species has flying ants. The ones that can fly are males and the queens, and they are looking to find a mate. The males die after mating, and the queen is going to start a new colony away from the old colony where the queen was born, to make sure that there is enough food for the new colony.
@@insAneTunA I live in a world of bugs (southern US 30+ years) and ants and the only ants I’ve ever seen fly are termites, which is why I was asking. Thank you for the explanation!
On the map you showed there were other buildings on the far left side of the screen withing the borders you indicated. Are they also on the property as they are shown on the map? They appear at the far end of the property on that map so I was wondering why you didn't mention them.

Never say Never. ❤
Lovely as always, you're a braver man than me Joseph can't stand snakes 😊

Theoretically how many olive trees could this support setting aside a smaller house plot?
200 to 300 olive trees would probably be possible.
If yu need content make a video about the argo fair at Fundao right now. be it rainy or not.
I filmed there this morning, it will be out next week, thank you my friend!
@@Farmerforfun sorry to have missed you filming, we were probably to distracted at the limousin cows exhibit.
Honestly guys, I vehemently HATE snakes
