Knitting Project Bag - customize according to your preference.

- This project bag can be modified in different ways, just decide the size and amount of pockets or even the size of the whole bag. If you want to have a rectangular shape instead, just make sure that the body fits properly to the base and trim any excess fabric in any of the pieces.
MATERIALS:
Main fabric:
1 piece for the base : 11 ½” x 8” (29 cm x 20 cm)
2 pieces for the body: 18 ½” x 8 ½” ( (47 cm x 21.5 cm)
2 pieces for the top strips of the fabric, in my case it is the black colourful fabric,
18 ½” x 2 ½” (47 cm x 5 cm).
1 piece for big pocket that will have partitions : 18 ½” x 7” (47 cm x 18 cm)
2 pieces for the handles: 2” x 18” (5 cm x 46 cm)
2 pieces for pockets next to vinyl: 5”x 7 “ ( 12.5 cm x 18 cm)
1 piece of vinyl: 7” x 6 ½” (18 cm x 16.5 cm)
1 zipper longer than 7” (18 cm)
Lining fabric:
You will need the same pieces as main fabric for :
the body and base,
the outside pockets
plus 2 extra pieces for the inside pocket measuring 7 ½” x 7 ½” (19 cm x 19 cm)
You will also need:
Fusible fleece or fusible stabilizer for the body and base of the main fabric.
Fusible fleece for the handles
Depending on the thickness of your fabric, you might want to use firm fusible interfacing for the main fabric of the outside pockets.

Just finished making this bag....love it. However I had a LOT of difficulty sewing the base on the main bag...phew. I used foam instead of fleece which I had trimmed by 1/4 inch...maybe this is why. Lovely all your patterns!
