When I was little my aunt made round bags. She would then cut a bleach bottle just under the handle of the bottle. Clean it well and punch holes all the way round the top with a hole punch. Slip it into the bag and stitch with a decorative thread around the bag through the fabric and the holes. She put ties through the top of the bag the way you did in this project. She gave them to us to use as lunch bags and the bags were nice and sturdy. Sometimes she used smaller bottles and sometimes larger. We had bags for our barbies and their clothes, hair curlers, makeup and anything else we wanted to use them for. I still have one of them today that she sewed pockets on the outside of first that I carry to crafting classes. The bags she made from canvas lasted a very long time the ones with silk not as long but we loved them so much because she made them for us. With todays tiny hole punches and crafting supplies not available then we could bring back the bottle bags. Recycling is always a good thing. The tops of the bottles were always turned into scoops or funnels. Not much made it to the trash back then it was all repurposedy
You are so clear in the instructions with ALL of your videos. Your an excellent teacher. Thank you.
I'm with Pam...love these bags! I made a lot of drawstring bags last year for Christmas to "wrap" the gifts. Love the videos...keep them coming
Love love love how simple, quick and easy these bags are to make. They are perfect for so many different things and make a great gift. Thank you for the awesome video instructions.
Love to make these type bags. Use them for so many things. Great job. 🌷🧵
#cricutlove I love all your videos. The fabric videos are my favorites right now. I been collecting fabrics to make some of your projects that you have shared.

Awesome!
@lorrienunemaker I noticed that you inserted a personalized tag. I couldn't see it too clearly, but it looked like it was your logo (your caricature picture). Where did you have that made,if you don't mind sharing. That is a super cute bag. Thanks for sharing...I can't wait to try & make one myself.
I’ve been very satisfied with my custom labels from Quality Woven Labels.
Would you put a link to the tool you referred to to push out the corners?
This is amazing #Cricutlove
Thank you for this tutorial...I would like to make one with leather for the bottom - would that work? Do I need to add anything to it?
so cute Can i use bandanas as my fabric?
Jack Bendickson sure. I always say “do what works for you “
Hi Lorrie, I tried downloading the CDS file and it just opens a blank document???
I will try your bag pattern it looks just right for my knitting. I could hardly hear you on this video.
Try turning the volume up on your computer or on the UA-cam video slider. I can hear it just fine when I play it from my computers
Oops my headphones died lol
Instead of sewing the 1/4 inch folddown on the channels i used wonder tape. Do i still need to sew that part down or is the tape enough?
Jack Bendickson if you’re planning to wash it I would sew it down
What is cork fabric? I’m a beginner. Where do I purchase it?
❤️❤️❤️
