And no championships. Waste of a record if there are no championships🤷♂️
He’s been the head coach over there for how long with no championships??? 8/9 wins at best and the Oklahoma State fan base is apparently satisfied with that 🤣
No, records are important. Us OSU fans still want a championship, but we like our coach as well. BTW, before Lincoln Riley came along, OU had a similar problem. I know bc I used to be an OU fan XD
@@KaminJohn you clearly don't know any OSU fans because many are unsatisfied but being ranked in the top ten in 10 of the last 14 seasons is hard to complain about.
People need to remember this! Gundy fights for his athletes! Even if you don't like his politics you have to respect his love for his athletes... sad he might have to step down because some of his players want twitter clout
Brettsparadox amen brother
Big facts we all k ow he's not a racist
FAT was the best part of that rant.
I like his politics... I hate his weak spine.
@@NickCager I get it brotha, I tend to think he values his Lifestyle and coaching/leading more than owning the libs. It would be nice to see someone fight this cancel culture though
16 years later. It’s still legendary…
I watch this from time to time as inspiration and the tone to treat bullies with. So many people on this earth don't know their place around good humans and deserve this kind of a verbal beatdown. Well done coach!
The first part of the video he's looking around for that reporter, but once he found him...he stared a hole through him.
My 40th coming. Watching this each day till I'm a man.
Still the GOAT rant
He knew which reporter it was and stared at him the whole rant. Amazing.
Coach Gundy stood up for his player in a way a lot of coaches would not. That is being a real man.
He's right, you know
No one:
Absolutely no one:
UA-cam Recommendations: "I'M A MAN, I'M 40"
This is the top 5 best rants in CFB of all time. Good for Gundy. Gives me chills seeing a coach stick up for a kid like this. Not a coach except maybe nick saban TO THIS DAY that has stuck up for a player the way Gundy did here.
It’s not a rant sperg
Not a rant creepy anime pfp
Are you ok, bot?
Just used this quote against my dad but used my age instead and he broke down laughing
im 40 now, so i get it. when u turn 40, your skin thick asf at this point. lol
Every father should aspire to defend their young men this way.
It's nice to see the context. I'm 40! Is a funny line but in context it's powerful and spot on. A coach that stood up for me like that would get a lot of heart and loyalty in return. Good job coach
Danny’s a MAN! He’s FORTY!
Sorry. I am but a simple grumps fan.
Same here lol
You should watch the old episodes with Jon when it was real
12 years later still a man and 52. Mad respect for Mike Gundy. He's done a fantastic job with Oklahoma State.
WalterM529 bruh iowa state is literally gonna die
NERD!!!!!!!🤓
“You know what it’s okay, there supposed to be mature adults… but there really not” nothing could be more true about the problems of our world
My grandpa lived to be 80 something and he was still a child. Age doesnt dictate your maturity. Your actions do.
It’s literally my 40th birthday today. When my wife reminded me of this fact this morning, I started imitating Gundy.
And I KEPT doing it.
Because I can.
Because guess what?
I’m a MAN.
I’M FORTY.
0:59 He's respectful to the PUBLIC!
I'm 35... So I'm close to being a man 🤞
I've been waiting for 2022 since the day Gundy went on this rant. Why? This is the year I turn 40 and can finally say that I am a man.
The golf clap at the end gets me every time LOLOL. Great stuff
Never gets old! Always entertaining.
“This was brought to me by a mother… of children.”
Literally sounds like a quote from a Will Farrell movie 🤣
Jim Rome show would always play the "FAT!" Soundbite.
Rome is just as much of an idiot as Jenni Carlson
Back when we had mental toughness.
🤢🤮🥴😴
@@ChristopherMHeaps please explain what that means
The original “fake news” crusader
If I were the writer of the article he was referencing I would have laughed while he was talking, but applauded him at the end, because he was trying to protect his players. Which is commendable.
This is a good man. I bet he’s a great dad who came from good stock. Watching something like this, it’s the sort of moment that makes a wife proud of her husband, his parents proud of their son, and makes kids know that their coach has their back.
Yup
You're here for 2:22
God bless
Eh the whole video is worth watching
Yeah if you're 12 years old
Mike Gundy turned out to be a coward.
He was ahead of the times talking about the media.
All that passion and emotion and not a single curse word. Impressive control.
16 years later I’M A MAN I’M 56! 😂😂😂😂😂
Love mike an all-time great and don't care about twitter
A good coach sticks up for his players when they’ve done nothing wrong. A good coach takes responsibility for his team’s failure. This is a coach with good character.
