      The way he served those jokes was like a Japanese chef serving omakase. Subtly built up to the climax where I was literally crying from laughter. Then for dessert he gave us something to think about.

    Wow, another A+ stand up. Chapelle continues to have that golden seal G.O.A.T quality. I also appreciate his words on Jimmy Carter. Not many people can live such a long and selfless life full of purpose.

    17 mins not only to share a laugh but to make a point. We shall never take this monologue for granted because it was time well spent. Hearing Dave Chappelle talk in this manner has given me more hope than I could ever account for. God bless this man.

      I raised 184k and Anna Kathleen Sanford is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Anna K. Sanford is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!

      I would vote for best of all time. I’ve been very unimpressed w him in recent yrs after being a major fan. But I get where he comes from to some degree. This was off the chain insightful, compassionate, dark humor/comic relief, & a smidgen of a reality check.

      I’m not disagreeing but it surely would’ve been nice for more people to take this stance in 2021. That would’ve been a mighty righteous time to unite as well.     Master - Classy Comedian. DAVE CHAPELLE has been hilarious for decades now. He is an observer of life and he knows how to comment on it to get responses, not the response one might want, the one he wants to observe some more. He is watching us. Great man.

    I drove from Detroit to Springfield OH one day to eat at the Haitian restaurant! I met another lady who drove about three hours from another location to be there! It was a great restaurant and community. Very friendly and appreciative.

    That was so epic!! He can roll off a cliff and bring you right back to funny anytime he wants. His disposition is so powerful he doesn't seem to be fazed whether the audience is laughing or not. Truth, tragedy and controversy is wrapped up in a bow with an undeniable hilarious delivery achieved looking like he is not even trying. So much introspection at the ending with a powerful message. Never seen anybody do it better. Chappelle is a living legend!! I almost forgot this was SNL for a brief moment. Dave can always amaze me with his choice of words.

    Tragedy + Time = Humor. He's one of the few hosts I've seen who has earned enough respect for what he has to say that he can get away with a nearly 20 minute monologue, smoke on stage at a live televised show, cover current tragedies, and still make people laugh.

    Dave Chapelle is a 21st century Richard Pryor. Both are great comedians that made you think (and smile) and cry all at once without regrets bc it was insightful. The times were always well spent listening to some 'food for thought' from a unique & great human being.
