That was the most Saban thing that Saban has ever done. Less than a minute left on the clock in a blowout, but the play calling got sloppy because it was a cupcake game. Love it. He knows that there are plenty of games against all kinds of opponents from unranked on up to high ranked where the team and the staff have to be running on all cylinders up until the very last second.

I’m a Clemson fan but the way he responded to him gave me vibes of he’s scared. Clemson did everything but lose 2011-2015 except a couple times. Never against unranked teams, so when you go into a game against unranked teams and cut a close one then yeah the media is going to ask and I doubt the media cares for teams who have a recorded of losing to them.
I specifically remember Mark Stoops at UK in 2013 had South Carolina on 3rd and short in a one score game and they ran a outside run and our OLB missed a game changing tackle. I’ve never seen stoops lay into someone the way he did. That’s when I knew we had a good ball coach.
