Brother T-Roy!!! Love the t-shirt. With the CJ hat. We love a good "fake smoke ring" - You need a Josh and Babe T Shirt !! - Honestly, Babe loves oven ribs finished on the grill. They are fantastic. This was a great video brother. Well done.
What's up brother Josh!!!! Hey Babe!!!! Yeah, Karen digs ribs in the oven also and they did look legit with the fake smoke ring. I think ribs are fantastic boiled in some crawfish/shrimp boil also and then finished on the grill. You guys should give that a try! YUM!!!! Oh yeah, cheers to y'all!!!! Much love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One thing my Pops taught me when cooking ribs in the oven. He started to use “turkey bags.” To put those ribs inside that bag seal it up. So then all that goodness stays inside.
He would also add an whole apple 1-2. Also a sweet onion. When we do ribs in the oven it’s for 250• for 3-4 hours. Just a tip I wanted to share with y’all.
Brother Troy! You make that hat look guuuuud!! Thanks so much for the love! You’ve been such a great influence on me and friend to me. Appreciate you! And love Miss Karen at the end! “Would ya wrap this up!!!” Cheers to ya!
Hey T-Roy, love the video! I have been wanting to do one of these for a long time. Excellent work. I am confident these are far better than any crock pot style ribs. Keep it up! 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Jeremy!!! Yes, much better than cooking in a crock pot. Man, I'm very impressed with your videos also. You've been killin' it lately!!! Keep up the great work! Hope to see you again soon! Tell Erika I said hello!!!!! Cheers brother!
@@TROYCOOKS great video T-ROY .glad to see you doing your thing and switching up and doing a regular oven for folks without a pit.👍👍
Hey Troy, Thanks for the shout out Bro! I knew you would like the SuckleBusters Rub! I'm glad you finally got some Lol! Nice cook on the ribs, and that's a very cool trick on the smoke ring!👍 Save me a bite...I'll be there in a few...Gotta stop and grab us some beer Haha!! 🍻😂 Have a great weekend....Love Ya T-Boy!! Cheers Bro!! 🍻🍻👍🔥😎
Love watching your videos man, always good content (and food of course). Keep it up!
Baking ribs tomorrow morning .. thanks to a neighbor i can't smoke out front anymore .. her loss .. thanks for posting, cheers!
14:30 - That baking sheet is legendary, T-Roy! It has been in so many videos.... traditions are traditions brother. Excellent looking smoke ring, sir. 🔥
Ha!!! That baking sheet is an old Wilton pan for making sheet cakes. It has been in a lot of my videos for sure! LOL
Thank you for this, I am going to try it tell I get my new Weber. You make it look so easy and fun. Keep up the amazing work. You are my go to channel for cooking. Thanks again.
Trying this weekend! Looks amazing!!
Hey man, I wanna say your videos have been awesome to watch for years, even though I was a young kid in an apartment and could never smoke anything. Moved into my first house and bought a Weber kettle over the weekend and smoked my first rack of ribs for memorial day. You taught me a ton man, thank you
Thank you for sharing the love and knowledge on how to make good Bbq without the grills. 👍🏼
Love the channel troy!!
Just bought a gasket and Cajun bandit door for my 22.5 inch WSM. Your videos have really helped me get into smoking meat. Really appreciate it brother! Thank you!! My prime

Awesome ribs in the oven! Troy, thanks for the shout out! We love sauce on everything!
I appreciate you sending me some sauce to sample. It's mighty fine stuff brother!!!!
Troy this is a great video. My parents, who don't live close(or they'd be eating my BBQ!) love ribs but don't have a smoker or kettle. I'll be sharing this with them! Thanks!
And yes, Justin, I need a shirt like that too! And, my wife wants a pool like y'all too!!!
Great video for the folks that don't have a grill. I never thought to use curing salt for a smoke ring. Great idea.
Great video T-Roy love the change up on the style of video. Hi Karen
This is a cool video bro. Probably helped billions of people. Can't go wrong with Suckle Buster's Spices. We still need to do our beach BBQ at Padre Island!!! Adios Amigo.🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
While I do have grills and skills, I do like seeing more of your inside cooking. Keep it up! Much love to Justin!
Those ribs looked so tender and delicious! I'd be partial to the way you did the St. Louis style myself. Great video!
I like sauce on my ribs also Daniel, but my wife likes them plain. She ate that whole rack of Babybacks!!! LOL I appreciate you watching and cheers to ya Daniel!!!!!!!!!!
Long time viewer, first time commenter. Great content as always. I owe my bbq obsession to you. Thankyou
I truly appreciate the love!!! Hopefully, you are impressing your family/friends with some fine eating!!! Cheers to ya!
Looks awesome
Those look delicious, hi from McAllen, Texas
SHEEOT,I'm a bbq GURU but I'm glad u showed how it's done in da kitchen!!!👌💕
Awesome video, I bet your house smells really good with that liquid smoke on those ribs. Both racks looked "Top Shelf" Thanks for sharing. 😎👍
Lol, Troy say just a few drops of Worcester but keeps pouring. Glad you making videos again. Ribs look good too
This video is thoughtful & informative... did I mention bad ass!!
Great Video Troy. 😂 Karen at the end waiting to have some of those ribs!
"But he cooks responsibly" 😂😂😂 Love that!
Can't be passing out during a 15 hr brisket cook because you had 3 too many.
@@MrClarkisgod Um, yeah you can, if you are cooking brisket on a WSM! LOL Cheers brother!!!
I love me some of that Suckle Busters Hog Waller rub. It’s one of my absolute favorites. Nice looking ribs my friend!
I appreciate that brother James!!! The ribs were too tender for me, but Karen ate that whole rack of babybacks, so I'd say they were a hit! LOL Hope to see you again very soon my friend! Cheers!!!!
👋T'ROY Always happy to see you. Don't forget sometimes the weather does not cooperate when you have a taste for ribs. 😊✝️🙏
Very true Juanita!!!! It's been raining here all week which led me to cook inside for this video. Hopefully, we get some sunshine soon!!! I appreciate you watching!
Making ribs for Father's Day!
Love the knife rack!
Came and watched some ads for ya.. Nice of you to support the other channels once again 👍 . I need to try that butter in the bottle someday. That might be nice to spray on top of like corn bread after its out of the pan or finished cooking. Spritz some on baked chicken the last few minutes to get the skin browned up 👍 . Good video today. That's a WRAP!
That Hogwaller is some great stuff! Nothing wrong with some good oven ribs man!
I was very impressed with the Hog Waller. Can't wait to check out the other rubs from Suckle Buster's! And yes, when it's raining cats & dogs outside, sometimes you need to use the oven. LOL Thanks for watching and cheers to ya brother!!!!
Good stuff Brother 👍🏻!
Great video Troy! I am still wearing my T-Roy Cooks Camo hat that my wife bought me last Christmas! Cheers bro!
Thanks very much Mitch!!! Cheers to ya brother and thank that wife of yours!!! LOL
I did ribs in oven two years ago for fourth of July. I didn't pay attention to wether or not there were rings.lolol they came out awesome!!! That's what I remember!!!
Yep, ribs in the oven are fantastic!!! I appreciate the support over all these years Cathy! Much love to ya!!!
You too!!!
looks just as good as on the grill!.. good thing too, been raining nonstop almost here in houston.
Yep, same here in Austin which is why I chose to cook in my oven!! LOL
Looks great... I thought you Texas folk didn't do sauce?? You're doing us KC folks proud.
awesome
Hey T-Roy, Never have tried ribs in the oven. Maybe one day I'll try this if I can not do them on the grill/smoker due to weather..
Yummy!
Great job! I can almost taste it from here. 😁😋😁😋
God bless all here
Sounds weird but you inspired me to get a WSM. I always used a propane smoker and it's been great but the wms is awesome and produced a product I like more than the propane. Funny thing is that I got a WSM up the street practically brand new for 20 bucks a few weeks back and I love it. I've done chicken on it, chuck roast and smoked sausage abs it's been incredibly good. Granted it just a 14.5" but I love it. Thinking I'll go get a 18 or 22" next. Just me and my wife and little girls so we don't need much but I do love using. Cheers man
I use apple jelly/jam instead of vinegar.
Smoke rings in the oven? Hell yeah, T Roy!
Yeppers, just throwing ideas out there for the fans stuck with inside cooking! LOL Thanks for watching Don! Cheers brother!
Troy! It is bbq season!
Good video T Roy... Now you did it made me HURNGY !! Thank you. Frank from montana..
I appreciate you watching Frank! Cheers to ya!
Can you teach me how to fake good BBQ??? 😆 Im totally joking. You’ve taught me about everything that I know and the BBQ at my house has never been complained about, even by me. Thanks for everything over the years T-Roy!! You’ve given me the “know how” that my family and I will enjoy for a lifetime. 👍🏻
You are very welcome Ry and I appreciate the kind words my brother!!! Thanks for the support over the years!!!
I went to a place for lunch today and people were lined up for some oven ribs. They can be good if you do them right. Great advice T-Roy.
I promise, you cook ribs in the oven like I showed and you'll be having lines around your home waiting for a rack to take home! Really good eats!!! Cheers to ya!
Where does one get a cutting board like that?
Had a lady ask me how to do this last week. Next time I’ll send them over to T-Roy!
Hog Waller is my favorite!
Nice!!!!
Sucklebusters has some SERIOUS rubs!!!
Troy, great indoor recipe. If they can't find Prague powder #1 they can always use Morton's Tenderquick for the same result. Damn fine looking indoor bbq ribs
Yep, thanks for that Kent! I forgot to mention the Tenderquick! LOL Hope you're doing well my friend!!! Can't wait to hang out with you again! Cheers brother!!!!!
Brother Troy, we will be back down in February for HSLR. I can't wait !
I need a shirt like that. ;-)
Those turned out great! Could not even tell they didn’t come out of the smoker. You know they must smell good because Karen was hungry!
@@BabyBackManiac They were excellent!!! Karen ate almost that whole rack of baby backs by herself! LOL I love my Baby Back Maniac shirt! Thanks Justin! Love ya bro!
Hi Justin...T'Roy sent me . Love your Channel. You and T'Roy should do a video together.😊✝️🙏
Don't you have one? LOL 😆
Perfect for a Macrib...Home Made!! Love it,I'm hungry!
Ribs look great
It's 1:10 in the morning here and I really want some BBQ
Somebody: There’s no way oven ribs can compare to BBQ ribs.
T-Roy: Hold my beer..
Just found your channel. I’m T-Roy too. Some buds also call me La-Troy. Too funny...... just sub’d
That intro music 🤣👊
Yummmmy
Really good turnout brotha man!
Looking good T Roy! Dropping some pounds!!
Both versions look great. Fall off the bone is fine with me👍
I hear ya Bobbi!!! My wife loves fall off the bone, so it was a great night for BBQ'ing inside!!! LOL I appreciate the love!!! Cheers to ya!
Support from Poland👍👍👍.
Nicest guy on UA-cam
liked the video without watching cause i got stuff going on.. i’ll watch tomorrow, i alrdy know it’s gonna be good!
Whassup Troy? Hope life is treating you good man. 🤟
Tried this in microwave for 30 seconds, built the sandwich and added cheddar cheese and nuked for about 10 seconds. Was great, probably a little cheaper than going to arby's but was also done in about a minute and didn't waste time and gas. Just try it.
it's been 3 weeks man!!!
I have the same Ninja coffee machine
I'ma be smoking up some ribs for the 4th, ima look into that Hog Waller!!!
That must be how they cook ribs at Mission BBQ. Rock On T-Roy!
Probably so Sal!!! I appreciate you watching my brother!!!!! Rock On Sal!!!!
Hey Troy... Its Adam... i sent you the Worcestershire sauce 😂
I like that cap, and the T-shirt. Those ribs turned out lip smacking good. Cheers, T-Roy! ✌️
No kiddin' Dwayne!!! That was some fine eating brother!!!! Cheers back to ya!!!!!!!
No matter where you live, you should always be able to cook ribs. Well done on another cracker of a video mate.
Thanks so much brother!!!! I agree, anyone should be able to cook great ribs! I appreciate you watching and cheers to ya mate!!!!!
@@TROYCOOKS how can I not watch you mate, I have all notifications and wait for the uploads. Cheers mate.
They both look really good! Question/ Why wear the white gloves the the black ones? Just curious!
The white gloves are thicker cotton, then black are nitrile gloves. The white gloves are cheap, but also reusable. Highly recommend!
White cotton gloves keep the heat from burning your hands. The black gloves keep the grease/sauce from getting on the cotton gloves and keep your hands cool.
Nothing like some fall off the bone ribs, looks good
You got that right brother Shane!!! Cheers to ya!!!!!
I’m a big fan of Head country. Even though it’s made in Oklahoma
I never saw you add the franks hot sauce to the spritzer.
Ummmm, did you skip thru my video? Check it out around 7:05 into the video.
WOW, it looks like someone is on a diet.. Lookin' Good bro..
Mmm , delicious ribs
Hey T-Roy. Looks good. I used to make ribs in an instant pot and then finish them on the grill or the oven. Nothing wrong with cheating or going at it differently as long as it tastes good. Two years ago I was researching a popular, pricey pellet smoker and seeing what I could buy to make some bbq. I was lookin at some smoking videos I came across some guy on UA-cam setting up a WSM with his number two pencil and well I guess that was about the end of my research lol. The WSM has been a fantastic addition to my backyard :-).
When are we going to get the video on how to lose weight? I definitely could use the tips.
Thanks T-Roy!!!
Brandan
Ha!!! I appreciate the love Brandan!!!! I love pork ribs cooked anyway you can cook them! Check out my most watched video, the Cabbage Soup video - Peel a Pound Soup video. I lost 40 lbs in 2 weeks prepping for surgery using that recipe. There's a link in that videos description that shows the entire 7 day diet. I usually do it for 2 wks, then rest for a couple weeks and go on the diet again if needed. Works great for me! Of course, I've had some health issues lately that have also helped me lose weight, but that Peel a Pound soup diet really works! Cheers brother!!!
@@TROYCOOKS Well glad to see you are back on good health. I’ll check out the peel a pound video. I love some of your conventional videos too. The hamburger stroganoff is now a staple in our house. Cheers.
@@BuddyTobyTV Man, that hamburger stroganoff is some mighty fine eating and it's quick & easy on a weeknight! YUM!! Glad y'all like the recipe! It's one of my fav's. I also make the Spaghetti Corn & Beef casserole often which is another fav. Give that a shot if you haven't already! I'm sure you'll enjoy the cabbage soup also. I sometimes make it and throw in some parmesan cheese and shell noodles to make it a minestrone soup. YUM!!!
@@BuddyTobyTV Cool, we love that stroganoff recipe also. It's Karen's Moms recipe she made up way back in the day. LOL
