A video popped into my feed yesterday where a guy about 15km offshore capsized his homemade canoe miles away from any land. I was thinking how dead I would be in that situation and how fast I would have become exhausted trying to flip the boat, but the guy managed to flip it over and return to shore without even losing his catch or much equipment.
Some people obviously have vastly different versions of what they consider dangerous lol. Like I guess I would take a canoe way out to sea if I had a waterproof satellite phone that I knew I couldn’t lose, but these guys are literally on their own out there and wholly reliant on being able to save themselves.
