The sound of that crunch when you cut those ribs had my mouth watering. Absolute perfection. Good to see you!
337k subs watching 641 videos over 45 million views. Not too bad for a Southern boy. From Red Stick to Austin, people seem to love your cooking! Thanks for all you do T-Roy!
Nice and clear 55f Saturday morning nice cup of java and a little T-Roy Cooks. Yeah, It's gonna be a good day! That PBC produces some amazing smoke! Nice bark with some juice. Enjoy brother. Cheers!
Got to love uncle Steve Shake!
You are the Bob Ross of BBQ
Missed ya videos buddy
Thanks T-Roy. I've pretty much learned how to BBQ from watching your videos. I've had a lot of fun with it over the past couple of years. Thanks for sharing!
LOL Wish my wife would talk in the back ground!
Thumbs up number 390, same engine that was in a 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxy. Fantastic video Roy. Love my PBC and those baby backs looked so freaking good! Love me some Uncle Steves shake. 👍
When Karen's ready to eat, she's ready to eat. lol. Great video, buddy. Miss you guys. Wish you could have joined us at Louis Mueller's. With that said, it was probably for the best. The weather was terrible. Hope you are feeling better.
Enjoyed the video. I got my PBC out again also to give it some love. Forgot how good that thing is. You talking ribs but don’t forget it’s a chicken machine also. Some of the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. Cooked some ribs two days ago. OMG they were the bomb. Damn good cooker. Everyone should have one of these. The ease of use it just incredible. Light it and go about your business. Noah and his team are so nice.
Always a pleasure watching you smoke meat brother. Cheers buddy
Just spent half my night watching T Roy videos, so that means my local butcher will benefit from my visit tomorrow. Thanks for the grilling inspiration.
Awesome video dear
Gotta try that pig powder! Made a barrel smoker a couple years back. Honestly there is no other bbq device required. I put a grill on it and hangers. I can smoke anything on it plus I can bbq steaks, burgers, dogs whatever. Super versatile.
Thanks for giving the temp.
Excellent video and nice sharing. have a great time
Longtime fan. Good to see another video.
Two things I have never done, cooked in a pit barrel and hung ribs. Thanks for the instruction my friend. I will have to try both of those.
Thanks for sharing your video and sharing your inspiration my friend much love 🙏
Really looking forward to some nice weather to get my bbq out.
Two of my favorite things in life...the Pit Barrel Cooker and Uncle Steve's Shakes! Made me hungry for ribs now T-Roy! Delicious video bud! Take care over there and Cheers!
Ribs and the PBC are like a fine wine, and they are made for each other. Great video Troy!!!!!!👍
salt n pepper is my personal favorite on any meat that gets smoked/grilled.
Troy, you have been an inspiration to me and everything I smoke because you take the time to teach us in a way that makes it fun.
Thank you for all you do Troy. Stay safe and happy!!
Mail me a rib or two cuz😁 glad to see you popping up on my feed again!
Good looking Bones! I gotta agree with Mrs. Karen and I’d take the salt n pepper rack! Take care Sir and Cheers! 🍺🍺
Been watching your channel for a couple of years now. Always enjoy seeing what your cooking up. From BBQ to pralines. Over the years I have tried all sorts of smokers, from offsets, WSM, pellet (least favorite of them all). This time of year till the end of spring is when I really like to start barbecuing. Especially in the winter. Decided to pick up a Pit Barrel and give it a try. Have some spares hanging now. So far I think this is going to be my favorite smoker yet. I really got it for making smoked mullet dip. Going to do that tomorrow. Hope all is well.
Life is great on my end and I'm glad you picked up a PBC. It's definitely a rib cooker!!! It does mighty fine chicken also! Keep that smoke rollin' brother and cheers to ya!
@@TROYCOOKS Thank you.
@@TROYCOOKS well I had a rack fall. Luckily I was outside and heard it. Had it stuck between the second bone. Top got a little done before the center. No big deal. Just cut them both in half and rehung.
I miss having the time to watch you cook. Its always great.
I sure like that cap! I know that rub is good too ! If Momma wants salt and pepper, momma gets salt and pepper! Pig Powder is awesome!
I like that hat too! I actually gave you a shoutout on this video, but had to edit it out because I screwed up. Hope you have a great weekend Kent! Cheers to ya my brother!!!!!
I love my my pit barrel. I have the the pbj as well. It also does chicken !! Great video T Roy..
Always love watching T-ROY COOKS cook some ribs. You got it right that sometime simple is best. Great looking ribs.
I love my PBC! I’ve had it 2-3 year now. It gives me that nice smoky flavor, but it doesn’t take hours and hours to make great food like other methods! This thing always make’s fantastic ribs!
Thank you for all you do my friend. I watch your channel all the time, and enjoy learning and sharing good bbq with ya. Makes me feel like I’m right in your backyard with ya man! Keeps me smiling after a hard days work. Cheers man!
Mouth watering as always TRoy!! As you said. Simple is best at times!!! Cheers to you and Ms. Karen
missed your videos T-Roy
Glad to see you smoking meat again! Hope to see more uploads in the near future! God bless 🙏
PBC is my most favorite cooker I own. From chicken to brisket to pork butt to ribs, hands down the best results.
The PBC is a rib-making machine! CPP Rocks! And so do you T-Roy!
Those look so good. Ribs are my favorite. Thanks for the cook. You make it look so easy.

Whenever I see a new video from the man himself TRoy it’s an instant thumbs up before I even watch the video, because I KNOW it’s gonna be good! Thank you brother!!
Awesome Q Troy!! You nail it every time!! Love stuffed ribs!!
Classic T-Roy video. Nice work!
Yum...shared this video to a man cooking ribs now for his daughter in Indiana. He has just moved there from FL for new employment.
Something about cooking ribs in a PBC really produces fine eating ribs. Some of the best I've ever eaten was done on a PBC. I think what you said about the fat rendering into the hot charcoal and infusing back into the meat with the smoke, gives them that really special flavor. Good seeing you Troy! Cheers brother!
I agree Rus, the PBC is a rib cooking machine! Hope you have a great weekend my brother! Cheers!!!!!
That's my favorite way to smoke Ribs as well, no-wrap on the PBC. Man they turn out great every time. Can't wait to check out their new 55 gallon supposedly coming out this year.
Rus you're definitely right about the PBC being a rib machine
👍
Great looking ribs. I like this simplistic method.
God bless all here.
Great to see ya back T-Roy! God Bless!
Thanks for watching Evan!!! God Bless you as well!
Alright, you’re invited to the cookout 🤣 just bring the grilled meat

Love ribs. I feel like it’s the true signal that summer is upon us. Great job Troy. - Cam & Theresa
Same here, gotta love a good BBQ during the summer.....or anytime of the year! LOL Cheers!
I have had a PBC for a long time. My PBC is the old style not smooth and shiny like the next generation. For me baby backs take 3 hours and St Louis about 4 hours. I had a Traeger for about 10 years and it was great for some things like Prime Rib but I never had any luck with ribs on it...too dry...I sold it.
Hey brother, that looks good. We use the Coarse salt and pepper on everything! Good smoke ring also!
Cheers
PBC always comes through on ribs. It's impressive how the baby backs still had a really nice color even with s&p
Another cracking cook mate. I really wish we could get ribs that big here but unfortunately we process our pigs a lot smaller. Keep them coming mate and I agree, sometimes back to basics is best, it's amazing how good salt and pepper can be.
Probably gonna be my next purchase. I love how easy it is to use. Doesn’t seem like you can go wrong.
Looks great!!! I love my PBC but I haven’t let em just ride like you did. I’m going to though!! Great video
While in college, my dormmates and I used a metal trash can as our pit barrel smoker.
I like hanging ribs, they always turn out perfect, those bones look awesome Troy! Can’t go wrong with that pig powder or just simple salt and pepper. Have a great weekend brother and keep on grillin!
Great video man! Great ribs!😋 I might have to get a pit barrel cooker!
Good looking ribs Troy! Been thinking about getting a rib hanger attachment for my WSM.
Love Ribs on my PBC. Great cook, bro! I Wish I would have know you when we lived in Round Rock.
It's hard to get better tasting ribs than those cooked on the PBC. Thanks for watching Eric! Cheers brother!
Fantastic looking ribs there T-roy!!
That PBC sure cook's good.
Cheers brother!
Great lookin ribs Troy. I love my UDS they make everything so tasty and easy. I always give you a 👍before your video is 10 seconds in. Have a great weekend Troy, cheers 🍻🍻
