@@RaoulThomas007The main similarities are that the mother is a malignant narcissist who transmits her pathology to her daughter; and they use the males to do the dirty work against other males. The Garbage State.

@@sludge8506 lol I'm from a very poor southern state so I can't hate too much. 😅
They were supposed go to Fla., which isn't any less of a joke.
There are a lot of cases I listen to in which a divorcing couple wants to live in separate states but they run afoul of either state law or an unreasonable attitude by one or both parents. Conflict over this issue is wholly unnecessary, provided that both parents behave like adults and both have the best interests of their child at heart.
I was divorced in the 1970s. My ex left with our daughter to another state a thousand miles away. We arranged to have joint legal custody, and a cooperative arrangement for physical custody. Our daughter lived with her mother during the school year, and visited me at other times. It is not difficult for children to fly alone under the supervision of airline flight attendants. When apart, we stayed in touch by mail and telephone. Now she is fully grown and close to both of her parents.
Laws that interfere with where the parents choose to live don't make any sense at all and should be repealed. Joint legal custody should be the norm, unless there is a good reason to drny one parent custody. Primary physical custody should be such that continuity in school is maintained as much as is practical. Too much traveling during the school year conflicts with that.
Just be civilized! Act like adults and cooperate in the rearing of children, despite personal differences.
Very well-stated. I completely agree
My daughter's divorce decree stated that she could not move out of state until her children reached age 18. I couldn't believe she agreed to that. Plus, their father rarely sees them, grumbles about child support, and is disinterested in their lives. Yet, he didn't want them moving away.
The parents maintained control of Kathleen, then she repeated the cycle with Elizabeth. Totally messed up.
The "blankhole" outtakes 😂 had me rolling haha
I just want Dr. Grande to diagnose why people live in New Jersey.
And NOT in the Bronx????
My best friend lives next to her in-laws and they are super manipulative, but her husband and her stand up to them.
Her husband is dead.
Evil in her eyes 😈 👁 👀 😳
Wow, some similarities with this story and my marriage. When my son was born my wife would not allow me to touch him, and I was most certainly made to feel dangerous.
I wonder if post partum psychosis played a part in all this. Kathleen's behaviour changing after birth to extremely controlling and suspicious of the father and wanting to cut him out completely seems consistent with ppp. I wonder if that was the case and she had been diagnosed and treated maybe the outcome wouldn't have been so catastrophic. Of course ppp doesn't excuse murder and she is where she should be.
I was thinking the exact same thing!
Only thing though, that doesn’t explain her father being willing to commit murder. HE wasn’t pregnant.
And it doesn’t explain her mother being willing to hire a hitman later either.
@@Alden_Indoway Oh the family dynamic was there alright but maybe ppp was the trigger for that horrible thing to happen when it did.
I think this raises an interesting point, we often become the things we were raised to be making it seem like it was destined for us to get to the life we have simpky because of the parents we got and It is a hard question to answer if anyone can not become a monster if they are raised to be a monster

With all these cases of people killing the other parent for custody, how do they think THEY are going to get custody? Or that their children are going to be endeared to them?
They have a fantasy that they are always on the right side of things most probably. If they thought it more, we would be in a perfect society.

'According to OED, horrid and horrible were originally almost synonymous, but in modern use horrid is somewhat less strong and tending towards the "offensive, disagreeable" sense.'
The outtakes at the end had me in tears 😂 I’ve often wondered how you keep a straight face with some of these cases. That family were evil. They reminded me of my ex-parents-in-law. They were always over involved and critical of me especially. They went so far as to report me to DOCS (I live in Australia) because they thought I was giving our baby boy “temper drops”. The drops were actually baby paracetamol prescribed by the doctor. The brand name was Tempra Drops. The thought plan was for them to get custody of their grandson. They actually thought he was theirs. As in, what was their son’s was theirs too. DOCS were very apologetic after meeting us and our baby and obviously dropped the case. We banned them from our lives after that.
