- Robert Telles faces trial for the murder of Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German. After German wrote several articles about Telles, a public administrator at the time, he was found stabbed to death outside his home in September 2022. Prosecutors claim Telles’ DNA was found under German’s fingernails. Telles has pleaded not guilty and says he was framed for the murder.

Deliberation should have been five minutes, tops. Heck, Darrell Brooks had more reasonable doubt than this case.

The only ones that the defendant did not accuse in his “conspiracy theory” are Adam and Eve.

The prosecutor, in the very start of her closing argument, said that Jeff German, the murdered victim, by June of 2022 had caused a lot of problems for PA Telles with his(Jeff German) news articles about the defendant’s work behavior. NO!! The defendant caused, by his own choices, his own problems.

Still going. But, everyone has finished for the day.
Done for the day, the jury is back Tuesday at 9:30a to talk more. But, if it’s going this long, they may deadlock and call it a mistrial. Probably one or two holdouts.
I'm not surprised it's taking this long. Even in open-and-shut cases like this, it's still common for juries to take their time and weight every possibility. I'm sure they'll find him guilty.

I hope the jury isn't hung up on the picture of the person in the vehicle with supposed "hair"., If you blow it up and look closely, the person is wearing a hoodie, it's not hair.
What on earth could be taking this long? Was the jury paying attention? The direct and overwhelming circumstantial evidence could lead to only one verdict, guilty! The only way it could have possibly been any clearer is if he took a video of himself committing the crime. This is ridiculous
This is an open and shut case. But it makes me believe in our justice system knowing that the jury is doing their due diligence as they should.

A lot of people are asking why it’s taken so long? Now, although it is very clear he’s guilty, they should look over everything. You don’t want them filing something later saying the jury didn’t do their job and so on and so forth.
If I was on a jury and I was positive their guilty entering deliberations, I’d take as long as it takes to touch on the important stuff.
It's wild the jury went home. Hopefully they came to a decision and are sleeping on it..

I don’t care how much deliberation a jury needs, this should’ve been deliberated for less than an hour. This is ridiculous. They didn’t reach in verdict in the four hours. I’m sure they’ll reach it. Guilty verdict, but still ridiculous that they were to discuss for more than an hour.

That jury was ‘nobbled’ - KR smiled & winked at at least one jury member a number of times. It was almost impossible not to have had a tainted jury given the money that KR’s influential & complicit close family threw at their disgusting PR campaign that attempted to ruin the lives of the direct & indirect innocent victims of her crime. ⚖️

I'm surprised that the prosecutor neglected to mention that wigs are a thing that exist and that glasses aren't a part of a person's natural features during their final closing arguments... I mean, not that they needed to, but still an oversight IMO.

All it takes is one person who mistrusts cops and believes they are capable of framing someone.

He says "I'm being framed, I'm being charged with a murder that I don't think I committed, that I didn't commit." As soon as he says "I don't think I committed", Telles gives him a wtf look. I could see him being so whacked out of his mind at the time of the murder, he says he blacked out and doesn't think he did it.

Second thought. The hair line darkness is equal to the darkness of the head profile. That is impossible with hair as light passes through the strands. It must have been a hoodie style covering over the head. It wasn’t hair.
